I was impressed to see that the inventory from online was present in store. Great selections and very organized.Our rep was Hina. She was easy to talk to and was very quick getting us in and out. She didnt pressure us, and made our shopping a breeze.The prices are decent. They offer great payment options such as financing and lease to own.Would highly recommend.
DONT DO IT!!!!... 👎 BAD quality of furniture. Not as advertised. Weve had a broken bed for 5 months now and we have yet to receive p7r replacement. They keep blaming covid but theyve had this problem before covid. Our furniture arrived chipped with missing part and broken. They always send it back but i constantly had to call to follow up. Ive called out work expecting furniture and they never call, apologize or give a new date. Most employees have an attitude and show poor costumer service by giving wrong information on availability and delivery dates. The repair person cursed me out and said he had clocked out and I never came to even look at what was wrong with my bed. Overall Ive had a negative experience with them. Avoid this store and future headache if possible

WORST EXPERIENCE furniture buying ever!! POOR QUALITY FURNITUREI bought lot of items for my new house and among them were a dresser. It was delivered to me with a broken leg. I was told it will be fixed by their service executive and he came after a month to fix it. When he showed me the underneath portion of the dresser while fixing the leg, it looked like a torn-down second hand piece of furniture underneath it. I immediately asked for a 5 year protection plan as it was so poorly made underneath. They told me I can only take the protection within few days (I guess 2 days) and now I am not allowed. My side of the request was that your service executive took a month to come and fix the newly purchased furniture, how am I supposed to decide it in 2 days without him coming within this timeframe? Ideally the delivery is complete when the furniture is delivered in usable manner without any breakages. So I should be allowed to purchase a protection plan on the day service guy came to fix the broken brand new delivered dresser. I was denied the protection plan (and this shows that Value City is not owning up to their own furniture quality, having realized a bad item has been delivered to us).Today after 14 months of purchasing it, the same leg of the dresser has fallen apart!!Absolutely disappointed by the quality of furniture and never recommend it to anyone unless the management owns up to this and fixes it for us.
Agnes is the best! She is truly dedicated and passionate about her job. She went above and beyond to help us out when we missed a part of our order, always with a smile and lots of humor, made me feel in good hands. She is so patient with my random requests and several calls, so polite and and helpful- and above all she listens and always would return my calls as she promised and come back with a solution for the problem. I am so happy with my experience with Agnes!

We went in to purchase a couch that we needed to be delivered quickly. The sales person showed us several options that were “in-stock” and would be available for immediate delivery. We picked one out and paid and we’re promised a delivery date of 5 days later. When we called the day before the scheduled delivery to confirm a time we were told the couch would be at least 3 more weeks because it was not in stock. The sales person obviously lied to us about the availability of the couch so that we would make a purchase that day. We asked to speak with a manager or anyone else and nothing was done about the service. Extremely disappointed that we’d be lied to about the availability just so they could make a sale.
Placed an order for a couch delivery on my move-in day over a month in advance. It is now a week before I move in and I have been called and told they dont have the pieces to deliver to me yet, well then why was it available for purchase without this information? The delivery has been pushed back over a month and that is pretty unacceptable.Im browsing other options now and if you are reading this, I recommend you do too.
The customer service staff is very nice. Especially, the young man there Yasser, he is very nice and professional he helped me explaining the payments methods, and how the delivery dates work. Also, he was on top of my order, and today he scheduled my order for an earlier date; the sale manger is also helpful.
Dont ever try!!!Trouble experience. Placed our orders on June and we were told that will be ready by September. The order has been pushed back to the next year, Unbelievable!! They should have told us from the beginning. And when I called to reach a manager they told me not available. They dont care about their customers satisfaction. Thinking to cancel both orders and Im sorry for the time I wasted there. Truly regret!!

Ramadan is excellent! There’s a Value City store about 10 mins away from my home. I insisted on going back to this location which is about 45 mins further because of the costumer service. Ramadan is patient, friendly and kind. He assisted me with all that I needed! His manager Tony was also willing and helpful! By far the best customer service experience I’ve had in shopping for my new home!
November 2020, made a large purchase with the promised delivery dates varying for each item with the maximum being within two months if not sooner. Five delays, and NINE months later, I still don’t have all my furniture. They even stopped calling to let me know of the delays and when I call them they claimed to have called me, but would not leave a message! They also stopped giving promised dates, my delivery is already delayed NINE months and they would not commit to anything but one month increments. I understand the pandemic’s impact on the supply chain worldwide, I’ve seen it. This has nothing to do with it. This is one of two possibilities: gross incompetence/mismanagement or a scam business. They did offer a refund, but what am I going to do with it? Wait two more months to buy furniture from somewhere else that does not match what I already have? They know what they are doing and they just strong hand their customers. Nine (9) months and counting! Be aware! I’ve spent months already living in an empty living room. No shame, no apology and no compensation. It is my fault for dealing with this business.
Sarah was incredibly helpful and patient with my purcase. I visited the store multiple times before before making a decision, and she was very informative each time with my selection. In addition, she was so kind that she helped me locate my phone my phone after I lost it in the store!

Original order delayed 3 times. Went and bought clearance bed frame and had it delivered 2 days later. Delivery running over 2 hours late with no warning or call. THEN - delivery guys damaged my furniture while delivering and did not show me the furniture before leaving. They left and I saw the huge dent in my wood bed frame, where they proceeded to COLOR the damaged wood with black furniture marker, on a light gray wood bed frame. Extremely noticeable and shady of them. Not expecting any resolution. The store employees were nice during the sale but this was upsetting to see.
I had a great experience picking out furniture with Lily. She took the time to help me make decisions on what to purchase and she was not pushy. However, when I called back two days later to inquire about my order, none of the other associates or customer service agents could answer my questions. Lily was not there and it was as if the other workers didnt know what has happening in the store. They certainly dont work as a team. After being on hold for the longest time, I was connected to a manager who was able to answer my questions. I will avoid this location in the future and stick to the Dulles location where customer service is top notch. I would give four stars for Lily but only one star for my follow up call, hence the two stars.

If you ever have an issue or would like to request a refund the company is exceptionally difficult to work with. I had to go through my credit card company to get a proper credit. The manager had approved giving me a credit but the corporate office has to approve everything and they do not like to credit you for most any circumstance.
I ordered 1 sofa and 2 love seats on 4/20 with 60 day ETA. I got my love seats after 3 months, but not received my sofa until now. Value City failed to delivet my remainder item; theyre pushing the deliver time by time. This is redeculous...
I ordered coffee tables September of 2020 and they came in June of 2021, WRONG ONES. In a separate order I ordered Grey leather couches that were DAMAGED, and today in a third order I got a dining table and 8 chairs, only 1 chair was delivered and the marble on the dining table was cracked. I don’t have a dining table right now and asked them to give me back the damaged one until a replacement comes in but they said the earliest they can get me THE DAMAGED ONE BACK is on Friday.Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and furniture always damaged when they arrive.I wouldn’t say stay away from this place I’d say RUN away. There are so many better quality places in this area.

The store is managed by toddlers! The customer service team is liars! They pick up your call and lie. They say your item is ready then when you get there they say they never said that. And then call the police on you. Police will escort you out and you will be banned from store only because you wanted to pick up your things that was there but is not now. BEWARE you will have a charge. please don’t fall into their trap. DO NOT GO THERE! they will take your money and you will never see your furniture. IT IS A SCAM! they will dance with your money in your face if you come in to cancel. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Please take this as a warning but go if you dare. you will regret it.
This store delivered my furniture over a month late. While supply chain issues were the biggest contributing factor to this, the store staff itself was beyond useless for providing any information on when and how they were going to ensure they would give us the product we bought back in early July. Five times they called me telling my couch would be delivered in two days, and five times like clockwork the next day they would tell me the delivery would not be fulfilled because they did not have the product. The whole experience felt reminiscent of buying products in the days when telephones and the internet did not exist. They could provide no information on whether the distributor had any stock. There was no online information. No way to reach the distributor to inquire about the delays. All that the store staff wants is to make sure your problems arent their problems. They will do everything in their power to get you off the phone and shut up while they repeatedly delay your order ad nauseam. Do not buy from VCF if this is where your product will come from. In fact, just dont buy furniture at all until they figure out how to bring their business coordination out of the stone age.
I had a great time shopping with Meaza with a quick assist from Tony. This is the first time I’ve purchased new furniture and I was able to outfit my new apartment in exactly the way I wanted. They worked with us on price and delivery terms and made the experience fun and painless. I will be coming back for more pieces and am really considering working with Meaza exclusively, although I’m sure all the associates are just as astute and engaged as she was with me. Bravo guys!

Do not order from Value City Furniture. I can’t tell you the countless amount of times the sales associates are dishonest and rude and how disorganized this company is! They lie about delivery times and delay for over 6 months! And once you receive your delivery, they are always late! I have had much better experiences with Harvety’s and Bob’s Discount Furniture. It’s a shame because they sell pretty pieces but I refuse to deal with a company that treats their customers like they are doing them a favor. Mind you, my mother has ordered from them over 3 times and this is the experience she always gets from them. The Woodbridge location is no better.

Wow, came in with my daughter just to look around and met Meaza who immediately made us feel welcome and gave us the space we needed to look and checked on us periodically. Suffice it to say, she furnished her entire apartment in just a few hours...great service and even greater prices and thanks Tony too!
They have some unique items. A little pricey but you cant find any of these stuffs in other stores like Ashley and Havertys. So Value city is a much better option. The sales people there are not pushy either.

If you want your furniture soon DO NOT order from Value city furniture . My headboard and frame was supposed to come 7/16. I just got a call stating my furniture won’t be delivered until September! I’m so disappointed 😢 this is both my first and last time ordering furniture from Value city furniture. Delivery was so high $159.00 added to the price just to have to wait months. Shopping at Value City furniture was and is a mistake. DO NOT DO IT. 😭

She remembered us and took special care to get our order correct and placed in an efficient amount of time.Our bedroom furniture was delivered to our condo yesterday. The guys were friendly and helpful. They had everything together in a short time. The queen bed did not have the correct slats so a technician was out after about 2 hours and had the bed fixed. To start off, I had purchased the Pure Promise Warranty. Too much bad things to say about my experience after speaking with at least three people in the warranty department as well as the warranty manager, never again! They just simply did not care about the issues I have put on the claim. I took one more last try before taking it up beyond corporate and finally called the store where I had purchased my items and fortunately I was able to resolve the issue with AGNES GOTAY. Just to add that I had moved to a different location that’s four hours away from my original location. AGNES was able to arrange not only to replace the item but to have it delivered to my new location. AGNES you are awesome and you have gone above and beyond your duty. I can say Ive had nothing but trouble with value city furniture. We bought a bedroom set with warranty and it took them almost a YEAR and multiple trips of coming to our house to get us the correct parts for our warranty replacement yet they STILL didnt get it right and I still had to fix the bed myself. Now Im going through the same thing with our warranty replacement for our couch. We went to the store and picked out a new couch in April for the replacement and they told us delivery date was going to be July. A little long of a wait, but fine. The delivers called to set up a delivery date for last week which was an unexpected suprise. When the day came to deliver the couch they only had one piece of it and we turned down the delivery because we dont just want half a couch. They told me I would recieve a call to set up a new date for delivery. Well a week later now I called the store for an update and they informed me that the other half of the couch wont be avaiable until September!! I am going to request a refund

I’ve been waiting to receive my order for more than 2 months, every time I go and ask them about the delivery they say it’s a direct delivery from the factory and they don’t know when I will receive it. I didn’t buy from the factory and I don’t know who they are. I ordered and paid at the store but they don’t even care and the manager was so rude. I was talking to him and he said to his employee tell her to call the main office and he left without even looking at me. The worst customer service ever.

I spent a significant amount of time in the store looking for something that was both stylish and very comfortable. I was pleased that there were so many choices. COVID has negatively impacted the speed and availability of items, but if you can wait, you can get what you want. Hina was really patient with me and my specific needs. She walked me through the store and showed me inventory that matched both my style and timeline.

I didn’t like that we already had one person helping and other sales people would randomly cut in. That’s why we didn’t shop. I found an awesome couch and love seat. Value City Furniture (VCF) offers great quality and more importantly value for these big life purchases in your life. I shopped around at virtually every furniture store in the area and kept coming across all types of sales people that claim to have my best interest but was really out for a sale. Lydia and Jeremy from VCF were really great! Lydia was incredibly friendly and welcoming and is prepared to answer all your questions. Jeremy is fast and effective with processing everything so you get your time back. Great crew! Will be a frequent customer with VCF.

Big up yuhself Tony hes the truth and the light a man of his words this man went above and beyond he literally bend backward to help us get our furniture and not just that great prices. We are pleased with our furniture. Tony is so knowledgeable and compassionate about his job and the company his communication skills is next to non unmatched.Theres furniture shortage we learnt that while shopping but Tony will create his magic so always ask for him always.The store is clean and offers a wide variety of updated/modern furniture. I just experience the worst customer service in my life with this store . Gary is the manager whom I spoke with on the phone . I ordered 3 stools from this store the salesperson was very nice . They were supposed to be shipped in falls church store . I just called to check the status they told me it was canceled and my money was not refunded . They are blaming me for everything . They said we will refund your money, but I had to wait for over a month to know that the order is canceled. Please don’t waste your time and money in this store or falls church . And don’t be fooled by these paid 5 star reviews done by professionals, they make a living for these types of review . Please don’t even bother to waste your money here

My husband and I moved into new apartment building in October so we decided to purchase everything new and to decorate from the scratch. So we drove to this value city furniture store in falls church, and ordered Bedroom Sets and 2 Couch. We were aware that with this pandemic, our merchandise will arrive little later then usual. They informed us that our stuff will arrive in January, then February, so on. When they finally came “ the movers” were unable to bring it up to our apartment, due to elevator wasn’t big enough. Here’s my thing !!! We informed the sales persons AND the customer service that we live in 6th floor, will they able to bring it up??? And their answer was “ ABSOLUTELY, THEY ARE PROFESSIONALS” we waited 5 months for our furnitures and paid monthly amount.Because they couldn’t take it up to our apartment, and they refuse to use the stairs. We had to CANCEL our orders. Not only they wasted 5 months of our time but they lied and lied about the delivery dates and kept giving us wrong dates. Huge Disappointment. 👎🏼
