Horrible customer service. We added one line to our account to make it a total of 3 and somehow 5 lines are now reflected on the Bill and we are told we have to pay for it? And get credited later? That makes no sense we will NOT pay for 2 lines that we don’t even have.We were told the Apple Watch was ordered that day and 3 days later when the package didn’t arrive we found out it was never ordered. Then AGAIN we were told it was ordered and it was not for another week after that. But by then the watch we originally were told was ordered was out of stock. We spent multiple hours in the store 2 separate days and they still did not fix the issues on our account. It’s been almost a month and the account is still not correct. Gary helped us and when we tried to get in contact to tell him about the issues all the sudden none of our calls or messages were returned. When we were with him in store he was making personal calls while “helping” us and told us if we left he would work on the order that night and it was still over a week until we got what we went there for. Don’t come here.

Went in to get a sim replaced, was greeted at the door. Friendly people, of the 3 workers and the store was nice and neat. Took about 45 minutes between waiting and having the sim replaced, mind you that took less than 5 minutes. I was happy that they had it in stock and installed.

This may have been the most challenging customer service experience I ever had. I was in this store for about two hours trying to switch my plan and it should not have take more than 30 minutes. This is because I could not get a straight answer from the rep who was helping me, and most of the answers I did get I found to be inaccurate. For example, I asked if there was a contract with the plan I was asking about and I was told unequivocally no. But later when I asked again it turned out there was a 24 month contract. At times I felt as though I was being scammed. I was about to sign up for a plan that I thought had no commitment only to find out later there is actually a 24 month contract. To be fair this wasnt a scam. But it is extreme negligence on the part of Verizon to allow this level of misinformation going to customers. It is truly appalling. I wound up calling the customer service line the next day, and I think I got most of the answers I needed, which were totally different answers from what I got in the store for the exact same questions.I wanted to switch to Verizon because they have best coverage. However, if you are in the same situation, and your current provider has good enough coverage, just be happy with good enough. It is not going to be worth it to switch to Verizon.

I went into Verizon not expecting much out of my visit and really didnt expect to get honest opinions about the phone. I spoke to Gary, and he went out of his way to make sure that I made a choice that was best for me. He answered all my questions and even took the time to look up some of the things that he was unsure of. I really appreciate it is honesty and will definitely make an effort to speak to him every time I go in. I cannot wait to get my new Motorola phone!

Long wait times and dishonest employees. I bought a phone and was sold on buying certain items because of warranty. Was told the wrong information by said employee. When I came in to use my warranty the guy working told me it wasnt true. But he knew the employee I was talking about because he did it to others. They did NOTHING to rectify the situation. I almost left Verizon due to this issue. Thank God the Edwardsville store came to the rescue.

Gary completely messed up my order. I just got two new phones and a watch for a total of three lines and somehow I got two additional lines added to my service so now there are five, and he never even ordered the apple watch. Then when he stopped answering phone calls. When I finally just went back to the store, another gentleman got my apple watch ordered but the two additional lines are still on my bill and they keep saying Ill have to pay it and get a credit after a couple of billing cycles. Its ridiculous and makes no sense how something could get this messed up. Dont waste your time going there unless you want to spend a bunch of money on nothing.

Went here to get on a new phone plan with my fiance as well as get new phones. When we arrived (at their opening time) I was told I needed to call a number to transfer my service to a new account. Thats fine, we go outside and dial the number. Check online and the average wait time is 8-12 minutes. Thats no problem at all. After 30 minutes though I was still on hold and decided since the fiance and I have plans with family coming up we would ask if we could expedite the process. The customer service reps in there told me If I wanted what I needed then I had to go through the phone. In other words, if you want a new phone or transfer service then make sure you have an entire day with no plans because they are going to hold you hostage with wait times and lack of customer service help. Why would I ever give a company my time when they clearly dont value it?Would NEVER RECOMMEND

Terrible service! The guy with the braids attempted to help me. He was the worst ever. I had to leave and come back which if he knew what he was doing, I would have never had to leave in the first place! And wait over a hour in my car with a 5 year old child & my wife! In the end I got my phone, however I will NEVER be back! My advice to anyone as long as dude with the braids works there go somewhere else!

Been a customer of Verizon for 20+ years since I was threatened in a remote court. Verizon has good nationwide coverage. This store needs improvement. Went in Thursday, 12/17, to buy a phone and add a line for the wife. NO CUSTOMERS IN STORE. Was told I would need to make an appointment - they were short handed. NO CUSTOMERS IN STORE - need to make an appointment - whats up with that? Made an appointment for Tuesday, 12/22, at 1:00 PM. Arrived at 12:54 with wife. Was told too many people in the store. BUT I HAD AN APPOINTMENT - WHATS UP WITH THAT ? Had to wait in the car. After 6 minutes, was texted that I could come in. Transaction was fast. Wanted to get accessories. Wanted wife to pick them out - her phone. NOPE - only only one customer per family in the store at a time. Left without accessories. Verizon lost a customer on the accessories. Suggestions: 1) get a bigger store - there are many bigger stores available in Fairview Heights and OFallon, 2) when no appointments are present, take walk-ins, 3) allow 2 persons per family - the person who is selecting and the person who is paying, 4) spread out the appointments - 45 minutes instead of 30 minutes, or 1 hour instead of 45 minutes, so that people dont need to wait outside or in their car if a previous appointment runs over, 5) dedicate one customer rep to walk-ins, 6) have a real STORE phone number listed so that the store manager can address these complaints personally rather than have these complaints posted on Google Maps - calling the store phone number listed on the internet connects one with Verizon central whose representative tells one to get an appointment to visit the store. Catch-22. Customer service has been lost.

Completely terrible experience all around. Long story short. I went back to AT&T because everything with Verizon was terrible: service- both phone and customer service, hours upon hours of wait time on the phone with no solutions and mixed answers per each representative I was sent to. I am so disappointed that a huge company like this is not up to speed in so many aspects.

Would not let me in store with my 80 year old father. All because they only allow 1 person in at a time. Didnt care that he is legally blind and disabled. It took us 2 hours because my father had to keep stopping to come outside and ask me questions because of the issues he has.

The techs are great but if you need to contact the store after youve done business there good luck. I have been trying to contact someone regarding my bill for three weeks and no body ever answers the phone. I placed a request for contact on the corporate website and still have not heard back from any one. I did an on line live chat with customer support and they told me I needed to contact the store I did my business with. Very frustrating!

Normally, when I have to deal with any phone provider, not just Verizon, it is a huge pain. However, this store was very quick and professional. I went in to change my phone plan back to Verizon and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. It was incredible. They even showed us how our plan could be optimized to save money and get more data! It was a great experience.

Well I just really like Verizon. I recently went to Straight Talk because I no longer could afford $85 for a phone bill but I have to say I was having problem with my phone I stopped in there and then were more than happy to help me and they figured out why my phone wasnt working. I would say that is great customer service and theyre always friendly and always speak to you when you walk into the store.

This is a great store with a wide range of products and services. Plan on spending some time here though, Verizon has many customers and although they try to have lots of staff on-site, there always seems to be more customers than the employees can take care of quickly. Dont get me wrong, the employees are Super helpful and are dedicated in their mission to ensure each and every customer leaves happy, satisfied and with the product (s) and or services they came into the store for. Ive been with Verizon every since US Cellular went out of business locally and have been very satisfied with the phone service and customer service over the phone and in store both. Service is a little pricey but from my experience, all cellular companies are anymore. Ive never had issues with dropped calls or poor service, even in some pretty remote backwoods areas of Southern Illinois or while driving from the Arch in Missouri over to the mountains in Arizona. Occasionally when visiting the local store, theres been a wait. However its never been ridiculously long and the service techs always give me their undivided attention when its my turn, so Im okay with a little wait if need be.

My brother had accidentally shut off his data connection on his phone. Not knowing this we stopped by the store expecting to buy a new phone. The Assistant manager meet us at the door and with a quick thumb through the options, everything was up and running again. No charge. This is the company store that you want to come to for excellent customer service.

Sheila needs to be FIRED! She ordered a phone that I did NOT want and now I have to pay for it to get shipped back to the manufacturer. She ordered the phone without my permission and now it’s my problem to deal with. She picked a fight with me saying that water damage is going to be in no phones unless they are out when walking from my car to inside a building. No. Ever phone has potential to have water damage from condensation. She had the audacity to explain what condensation was to me. I’m not a 6 year old, I’m 21 and know what that means. She treated me like a child and was very disrespectful.

Our business is a long-time Verizon customer, though we have used AT&T, Sprint, and Nextel in the past. We have worked with the Fairview Heights store for years. (We have also used the Edwardsville store from time to time) I just have to say that the team at the Fairview Heights store is great. I have personally worked with almost every team member in the store. I always find it a pleasure to work with people who are willing to work with me to find solutions to our telecommunications issues. Eric and his team are knowledgeable, creative, and solution driven. They take the time to listen to needs and offer solid suggestions for solutions.

Sarah was a huge help and a delight to work with. We went to consider switching from Sprint to Verizon. She was patient, thorough, and went through the differences of each plan as well as each phone. She was so knowledgeable on all of it, I couldnt help but be impressed.Verizon is a little more expensive than Sprint, but has better coverage. For that reason and because of how honest Sarah was, we ended up switching. She didnt rush us, she offered several options, and she tried to find every way she could to save us money where she could.

We live an hour away and we still choose to drive to this store when there are severalccloser to us. The staff is super friendly, and knowledgeable. They were super busy when we were in last, and they had stopped checking people in which kind of sucked because people there after us, went before us. We had our two little kids with us which made it harder. We ended up sitting on the ground watching YouTube and when an employee was free, he came and sat on the ground with us. We so appreciated that! It made up for the intense wait to be honest. Its hard enough keep two little kids contained, then when you finally do, to have to move them? Nope. We will always make the drive for this store and these employees.

DO NOT activate your phone at the store. You will be charged a $35 activation fee that the online representatives will not charge you. The representative at the store, Michaelle, stated that I could get it waived. She was wrong. The representative at Verizon stated the store charges the $35 fee.The lesson learned is NOT to get your phone activated at the Verizon store (if you bring your own phone).

Our sales representative, Jim, was excellent. The process we went through was ridiculous. It took 3 days to start a new plan. I got 22+ emails and numerous calls from jim to get this to go through. I want to give 5 stars as I have had very good experiences here before, how ever today a sales person Josh has lied, has been wrong and has most definitely hurt my overall opinion of this branch. And seeing as I can not reach the branch or Verizon w/o a long wait on hold Im feeling pretty poorly about Verizon at the moment.My LG phone had been replaced 4 times. That model just seemed to be junk. Instead of replacing it with a new different model I got an upgrade I had to pay for.. The LG v30 works great, but I basically have one phone for the price of 2....As a resultIve been considering switching to spectrum mobile, they use the same network as Verizon. We are on the fence. So while at the store to look at new iPhones my wife inquired about how the providers could offer 100+$ less for the same service. Josh told her spectrum does not have the Verizon network. Im not sure if they get a commission on phone sales but it seems that way as it seems he was giving her misinformation to make a sale . shes been wanting an upgrade for a long time and we were waiting to decide if we would switch or not. So for the time being we will stay with Verizon. Josh gets her set up with an iPhone 11. A screen protector and a otter box xl 2019. She noticed it didnt say iphone 11 and asked about it. He assured her it was compatible.Sends her off without installing the SIM card, without installing the screen saver and with an otter box that doesnt fit. I come home from work to find her sad her new phone doesnt work, she cant make calls. Thats an easy fix, installed her SIM and was good to go. The screen saver got a little dust when she struggled to figure it out, I managed to work out the bubbles. Its almost perfect. The case is just too big.How do you have an untrained,unmotivated and dishonest sales associate running about your store unchecked?

I am very disappointed in my Verizon service and Asurion insurance. I pay a LOT of money for the service. I spent an hour at the store to have my phone fixed to find out that I had to call or do it online. Something they should have told me when I signed up to wait. They said the insurance would send someone to repair it at my home or the store. Well, they will... Next Wednesday. 5 days from now. I asked if we could meet at the store earlier but they dont do that which is not what the store said. 5 DAYS! I paid a lot of money for phones, a lot more for their service, and then for insurance, to be without a phone for 5 days if they cant fix it. And, the misinformation is ridiculous. The workers should be able to give the right information! Sadly, they have me since no other service works where we live.

Ive been with Verizon for 12 yrs and you would think they would want to please you when they screw up. Nope not verizon. The customer is always wrong in there eyes. Charging for a restocking shelve fee. It takes freaking a few seconds to restock a shelve. Not worth 70 bucks for a restock fee.Bought tablets one yr ago and they havent worked since we have had them. Verizon told us they couldnt help me with tablets that I needed to buy new ones. Signed a 2 yr data contract for 2 tablets that worked for a day.This place is a joke. Best coverage but treats customers like crap.You are better off going to best buy or calling verizon. In store experience will just leave you with disappointment.

I don’t normally write reviews but this really didn’t sit well. Manager texted and called me about an upgrade I was wanting to do for 2 my kids. Said there was a deal going but ended Sunday. Live almost an hour away but Made an appt for 330 and when I got there the manager wasn’t there and the salesman was left with telling me they were out of stock and couldn’t order what the manager and I discussed.
