My son goes to college there locally and we live 9 hours away . His car needed a new battery and I was told they changed it… they only recharged the old one . It did not hold the charge and I had to have it charged to another dealership to have it installed correctly . I originally had given them a five star review, but the service department argued with me and wouldn’t listen to what I was saying . I will not be using them again.

Honestly, Im very frustrated with this location. They just dont stay on top of keeping their website up to date, they dont list any prices on their website (I assume theyre trying to get you in the door or get a salesman on your phone), and their Chat systems goes to someone whos working from home and doesnt actually have any real knowledge of the dealership. All the chat can do is direct you to which department to call and talk to or will take your information and pass it along. Ive inquired over 2 different vehicles in the last few weeks, and both of them were sold upon inquiry. Yes, this happens, but theyd been sold for some time and the website just hasnt been updated. Thats frustrating.

With having a car from a previous dealer breakdown during the worst week possible, these guys did everything in their power to make sure I was in a brand new vehicle. My salesman Brandon Bacco continued to check on me, communicated with me on vehicles on my time and even searched high/low after hours for exactly what I wanted. I have high regards for Anthony Chevrolet dealership including its service department, as I have indicated on multiple prior surveys. I do have concern about GM continuing to use an poorly designed transmission. This fragile component that is used in the Silverado destroys the reputation of the Silverado as a durable long lasting vehicle. Please correct this problem and maybe I will consider another GM product in the future

When I wanted to purchase a pre-owned Cadillac, the sales staff at Anthony Cadillac went beyond the call-of-duty. They didnt have much used Cadillac inventory at the time, but they found a pre-owned ATS out of state and brought it to their showroom where I made the purchase. I called to check on programming new fobs for my car. Sure, bring them in tomorrow . I took them in and I waited for 20 or so minutes. I was brought the new fobs, and informed that they could not program them unless they were cut, and they could not do that. SOOOOOOOOOO, I was charged $60.00, instead of the $75.00 because they couldnt do anything! I wish I could get paid for doing nothing!Go to Harry Green!

My car has been in three times for service in the last few years. Ive always had a no-hassle 24 hour service on my car with no red tape or other issues. When I recently looked at a Subaru, sales staff bent over backwards to help me any way they could and provided EXCELLENT value for my trade-in. Will recommend to anyone not wanting to deal with shady car dealers or service persons.

Excellent service. Was on a road trip traveling when my drivers side window stop working. This is terribly inconvenient when traveling toll roads. The Used Sales Department got me the best deal on a beautiful and fast Impala, and the service Department has been great at helping me keep it maintained. Today I was especially impressed by the service of Duwane from the body shop. He answered my questions, gave me vehicle information, and made me comfortable with asking about engine size and towing ability. He explained how the leasing program works because I was interested in the process but was there to buy. He did not make me feel rushed nor did he draw out the process. One of my best experiences buying a vehicle. It was worth the trip!

Horrible. Wouldnt bring a wagon here to be fixed. Brought my truck here for diagnostic tests. They diagnosed it with a blown head gasket, which was under GM warranty, and they flat out REFUSED to preform the warranty work. After contacting GM and transferring the truck to a different dealer, it turns out that the diagnosis from Anthony was entirely WRONG. Complete headache. However, after GM contacted them about the work they decided not to charge me for the incorrect diagnosis. Which was kind of them.

The service staff are friendly and helpful. They tell you whats wrong but dont do a high pressure sale to do it at that location. They allow you to bring parts and them do the labor. Down side is that they cant offer warranties because they didnt buy the part. So if its faulty you have to go back to where you bought it and then pay labor again. I have seen some really beautiful and expensive cars serviced there.

I had to have an estimate done on my vehicle today. While waiting, my son wanted to look at the Corvette on the showroom floor. Mr. Stackhouse took notice to my son drooling over this Corvette. He walked out of his office and said, you like this car its pretty awesome isnt it? My sons face lit up! He replied yes, it really is!! Mr. Stackhouse told him it would be even cooler if my son was sitting in it and he opened the door for him to sit in the drivers seat. He made my sons day it is all he has talked about. Customer service goes a long way in my book and I can say Mr. Stackhouse is top notch!!! Id highly recommend anyone looking for a new or used Chevy or Cadillac to see Mr. Stackhouse!!!

Instead of taking responsibility they force me to turn this into my insurance and pay the deductible. I expected a much higher level of service.

While I previously gave 5 stars, I must unfortunately reduce to three stars (average) and not recommend for those seeking vehicle inspection.Their process is to immediately peel the sticker before inspection, per the service manager and our experience. Neither of our vehicles passed last time, and we were left dealing with rejected sticker vehicles.OUR process is to immediately fix anything need fixing, abiding by the law. As a result of this experience, we carefully reviewed all the wording on the law using WV Dept of Highways websites and the State Police (phone call to verify).The correct process is to do the inspection, inform if there are failures, and give the customer the opportunity to have the shortcomings fixed. If the customer refuses, the sticker is peeled and the customer has a fixed period of time to have the problem addressed. In this case, the vehicle may only be driven to-from the repair shop of choice.In our case, we were fairly new to West Virginia, and were not aware of this dealerships policy. Had the service manager given us a heads-up that hey, you might not want to inspect both on the same day, we would have deferred and spared ourselves (me, especially) some tight logistical issues with arranging transportation.To be fair, the service manager did push our repairs through quickly, despite being very busy. He did express remorse over the situation, however the damage was done, especially for my wife, who needs her vehicle for transport to/from the VA hospital in Clarksburg on a frequent (unfortunately) basis.We wont be back to this dealership ever again, sadly.Also to their credit, their mechanics are solid, the sales people friendly and really a treat to speak-with. But really, it takes an incident like this (and poor communication) to change things. Our inspections will now be done at a different location, which handles the inspections (and failures) with more kindness (and with proper legal process).I dont know how to raise above negative situations like this personally. Sometimes, one must cut and run, which is what weve had to do. I think the Chevy dealership in Morgantown might see us in the future for any necessary work...we shall see. Its all about ratings and reviews in my case, and I read the negative reviews first, as a wary consumer.

I felt the service writer understood how important this appointment was because my husband and I were about to take my car on its longest trip since I purchased it last July. (Incidentally, I got the best gas mileage ever on the trip--25.3 mpg!)

I will use this dealership for ALL of my future automobile purchases. The staff was exceptionally nice and pleasant to work with AND they welcomed my poodle as if she were a person. She had the run of the place as long as there was no other customers around. They didnt tell me to pick her up then, I did it from simple courtesy.

So I took my 2008 Mercury Mariner in a couple of months ago to get my inspection sticker, an oil change, and my front passenger caliper replaced because I knew it was sticking. When they called me back they said my back brakes are over half worn and they are also sticking. They also said I needed two new tie rods and a ball bearing. They didnt even look at the caliper yet. They said they didnt give me a red sticker and I am assuming they were trying to say they did me a favor. Well now I know why they didnt give me a red sticker. Because they were lying about what I supposedly needed. I told them my back brakes have only been driven on for 8 months and shouldnt be bad at all. I knew they were wrong about the tie rods and ball bearings because I looked at them myself before and didnt notice anything wrong. I also knew the story about my back brakes being over half worn was fishy so I said Im not going to fix it now and they charged me $67 for an oil change and I went on my way. I took my car to a smaller nearby auto repair shop and they said my tie rods, ball bearings, and back brakes are like new. It was my two front calipers and rotors that needed replaced. The back brakes were fine and like new and were not sticking. I do not understand how somebody can straight up lie. I would call BBB but I sadly did not save my service receipt. It makes me wonder how many other places do this to people. I will never visit this place again and will tell my bad experience to anybody that will listen. My advice is always get a second opinion or check your car yourself before you dish out money. I am truly disappointed.

The service department leaves a LOT to be desired. Without meaning to offend, it is down right piss poor. Made a scheduled appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 9:00 am. SCHEDULED. They didnt even START on my truck until AFTER 11:00 am. I am tired off the excuses, and the lady service manager is down right rude. The gentleman just makes excuses and pulls mechanics off and puts them else where before their job is finished on the first vehicle. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. My time is just as valuable as the next person and I should not have to wait 3 hours to have an oil change and tire rotation PERIOD!

This dealership is horrible. Had an appointment at 10:00a.m. It is now 1:00p.m. and it is still not in the shop. The employees their are very rude, especially the Service Departments receptionist woman. All the employees, excluding Managers, and Macanics are very unprofessional, unorganized, and just plain DISRESPECTFUL!! I have been having trouble with my Chevy Trax for 2 weeks now. When I called to get an appointment finally at the beginning of last week. They couldnt even get my car in till today. When I told the Receptionist in the Service Department what was going on when I dropped it off. She looked at me as if I was stupid and was very rude. Then when asked how long it would take to find out what is wrong with it. She laughed, then smiled, shook her gead and said Well I dont know how long, or if they will find anything. Will have to see what the computer says told another gentleman who also works their in the main office what was going on. He looked at me again like because I was a woman I didnt know what I was talking about. Then said I hope its not an electrical problem, well hell thats what it sounds like thats hard on the guys laughed then walked away. Its very frustrating and uncalled for. I just want my car fixed and safe again for my son and I. Will NEVER be taking my vehicle or any of my families vehicles back there again!!!

Horrible experience with this dealership. I brought in my vehicle for repairs- after guessing and checking (along with several poor excuses as to why it was taking this long)- replacing parts after parts- not knowing what was truly wrong- almost 3 MONTHS later I was able to pick up my car. Not to mention the car was passed over to me with the check engine light still on. Thinking that the sensor would go off after driving it- that was not the case. I am still having the same issues as to why I brought the car in the first place, check engine light on, leaking, etc. Was able to take it to autozone and within minutes they were able to give the codes as to why the light was on. I am hesitant to bring my vehicle back in fear that I will be out of a car for another several months.A lot of time, money and aggrevation was spent just to have it returned in the same condition.Extremely disappointed.

Absolutely terrible. My first experience was much better than the second. I came in to have my tire patched, evidently i ran over a nail and it caused a leak in my tire. The first associate was extra friendly and helped me every step of the way, kept me informed and updated, joked with me a bit. Even tried to upsale me into a new(er) vehicle which for me, working in sales, i totally understand. He did his job and made me feel welcome which is a skill. The issue comes here, my tire was still leaking. I returned the week after only because it was a weekend and told them my issue, no compassion for the woman at the desk, oh well, she couldve been having a bad day... I take my seat in the waiting area with no detail or time expectation. Sitting there for nearly two hours as the consumers around me all receive updates and compassion for their wait. Finally the woman from the desk comes to me, only says my name and hands me a clipboard. i ask if everything is ok and she replies with a dry, heartless ...yes. so i just sign and leave. i felt extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service. the worst part is, my tire wasnt fixed, still leaking. I took it elsewhere and they fixed it immediately. thoroughly disgusted with Anthony Chevy. wont be returning.
