Very disappointed, I went there to buy myself an upgraded car. But a white guy in his 50’s started asking weird questions. I wanted to test drive the car but he said only if u want to buy a car then I can let u test drive. I was shocked to hear that how can they treat their customers like that. He told me that management has told me to say that. I left that place without buying, they lost a potential customer. Never gonna recommend this place to anyone.

Very disappointed to learn that despite having 3 calls about a vehicle, being told they wont negotiate on the sales price nor $795 dealer fees then being pushed to put down a $2500 deposit to secure the vehicle that the vehicle was, in fact, already sold and that they had made a mix up. Id dropped other deals I was working on in favor of this one. For someone claiming to be a high end dealer, and charging high end fees, they need to get the basics right.

Ive debated for a few days now on writing this review, but the more I think about what happened, the angrier I get. We had a lease from a dealership in Virginia but relocated here recently so decided to trade it in around here. Lexus of Westport had the most inventory so we decided to go there. Our salesperson, Steven R. was great. Even Chris K. who called me when I send in my initial inquiry was extremely helpful. Knowledgeable about the cars and helpful with the whole process. Not pushy at all. Our finance director was great - I think her name was Gabby. Super friendly and helpful as well. I was shocked when my husband agreed to trade in our car at that time because he always has to think it over. They had the exact GX470 I wanted.Im writing this review as someone who is a consumer and also has car industry experience. Ive worked as a manager of a luxury preowned car dealership and have spoken at national conferences on customer service for dealerships around the country.My first major issue was that we could not take the car home with us that day. My husband and I still have Virginia licenses because of Covid so we were not in the DMV system. Despite us signing ALL the paperwork and having our car ready to turn over to them - they would not issue us a loaner document with dealer plates because it was company policy. The Lexus dealership in Virginia had no problem extending us a weekend with our new car to try it out before we committed to it - but this dealer wouldnt even do it when we had already signed the documents? Needless to say I was very disappointed to find out the exact new car I was hoping for wouldnt be ours until Monday.Monday rolls around - guess what? Still not in the CT DMV system. They will call us back on Tuesday. Finally, on Tuesday I took our car in and traded it for the GX. I was thrilled.I drove it a few times that week, nothing major. On Saturday of the same week (weve had the car 4.5 days), I went out to the driveway to go to Target and the back window is completely broken. The car has 85 miles on it - not 85,000 - 85!!! Naturally, I thought someone broke into it so we called the police. When the officer arrived, he said it was impossible for someone to have shattered our back window because all of the glass was blown out on the driveway. There was very little glass in the back of the car. The officer deducted that there was a defect in our back window causing it to break because of how the glass pattern was shown in the driveway. Our car was also locked and there was zero signs of someone trying to get in.We asked our neighbors to check their security cameras. Sure enough - the officer was correct. The back window of the BRAND NEW GX470 just shattered and fell off the car into the driveway. I called our sales rep and he continued to ask me if it could have been damaged or hit. I sent him all the photos and the VIDEO of the window just breaking and falling out of the car from that morning.He said he would see what he could do to help us. Nada. Zilch. Not even a call from a manager to see what happened and how they could help us. I cant even believe a car that we had for less than a week now needs the back end completely redone because the car spontaneously blew out the back window due to a defect and the dealership wouldnt help us. There should be good faith on their end to help us. This is obviously a freak incident with our car and the dealership should be mortified and want to help us any way they can.Instead, we had to file an insurance claim and take our BRAND NEW Lexus to a shop in Shippan to be repaired and not the Lexus dealership. I am angry and disappointed that this dealership who prides themself with SERVICE OF EXCELLENCE could leave a brand new customer with a very expensive car to deal with this on their own.When our lease is up, I will look elsewhere for our new vehicle.

I was extremely nervous buying a new car or if Lexus was the right choice but Dondré was amazing. I had been looking for a new car for almost a year and the process couldn’t have went smoother or more transparent compared to other dealerships. Dondré was extremely knowledgeable about the car, it’s features, and the maintenance. How can you beat an extra 2 year warranty on a certified ore owned vehicle based on year and not mileage? The guy in finance (I regrettably forget his name) was also so kind and knowledgeable. I love my 2018 Lexus IS 300.

Cell guy wasnt pushy or anyting the deals were not really a deal I just wish that they would have relaxed a little bit on the test drive because I wanted to actually test drive the car and my salesperson insisted on coming with me and was a very nervous passenger which didnt allow me to actually test drive the vehicle in a realistic situation for myself

I honestly had a bad experience!!!Before I took my 40 minute drive down there, I for sure let Paolo know I was coming & what time I was arrivingI even got out of work earlier to goWhen I get there, I texted him.. no response.. I called the number> out of service.. I called the office # 2x and no responseAlready got off on a bad noteHe showed me 2 cars, I decided on 1.. started with the buying process.. as I filled out the app there was information that I needed that I didn’t have on handMind you I specifically asked before “ what do I need to bring” and I was told just my car…Anywho, I was left at the desk for minutes at a time with no check in…Employees walked by never even say hi or greeted me, didn’t feel that much welcomed in thereFinally, he submitted my paperwork and asked me to have a seat by the doorIt was taking so long that I went to my car to take a nap.. over an hour passes by with no infoThen I was told that they have to make deliveries first, then get back to the credit analyst to check on my appUmmm what? I do not get how making a delivery affects the process of my credit app?He actually went back and forth with me on the phone, said that he told me it could take hours for the credit app process, I still have no receipts ( texts) that states that he told me thisAlso said “ that’s why we usually have customers come in the day time “What does that have to do with me now that I’m already there? And he never told me that info, or else I would’ve waitedI wasted my entire night there- I’ve had way better experience with a used car dealership or buying a car off the street!!!

I had a great experience there, from beginning to end. I shopped around for a decent pre-owned vehicle for my 17yr old daughter and came across the perfect one at New Country in Fairfield. When I first went to look at it, my sales professional Hector Diaz had the car warmed up and the hood was up.. Upon meeting Hector and speaking to him for a awhile, I knew that I was in the right place.Great price and exceptional service!I would highly recommend New Country of Fairfield and please ask for Hector Diaz. He is empathetic to your needs and not pushy.You will not be disappointed.

Recently purchased a 3yo car with 40k miles. Traveled pretty far to make the purchase. Dealership was not transparent about condition. Tires were 2/32nd tread, air and cabin filter bad, front rotors rusted out and needing to be replaced to pass inspection. Brake pads in the front needed replacing also. Salesman was nice but definitely a rookie and a bit slow. Dont let the Lexus Dealership fool you.

Test drove a car, liked it and told the manager I would call him the next day. Called twice, left messages on his voice mail. Calls me back a week later, saying hes just checking messages now, then it turns out he sold the car. I told him that I wasnt happy about it, he didnt seem to care too much about that. Then calls me back another week later I was just checking my messages... so apparently has a memory problem as well. Mind you this is the guy who runs this business.

I was searching for a certified Lexus. I found myself on New County Lexus website. I found a Lexus GS 350 certified preowned and was very interested. Via the website I inquired about its availability. Due to the fact it was a Sunday the dealership was closed. The next day, Presidents’ Day, I received an automated email from both the general manager and the sales person letting me know how they were going to “wow” me with professionalism. I called the dealership and spoke with their business manager. I let him know of my plans to test drive the vehicle that afternoon. Miraculously, the vehicle sold within an hour of my conversation with the business manager. You can rest a sure that I was in good hands. The “bait and switch”, buyer beware game was now in session. They had another vehicle the same color, mileage, and same price waiting for me. How thoughtful.

We only check what the problem with the car is if youre interestedI am interested but I need to know what is wrong with it to know if its worth my time, when can you know whats wrong?we dont fix cars here and I need to know if youre interestedThen I was told I could go somewhere else... what a joke. Turned the car on and the check engine light was on as well as a surging idle, yeah I was interested but I need to know what the problem with the car is. I was prepared to buy the car that day but with that poor service I just walked out.
