This is my go to place when I want to have Turkish coffee and a light/delicious breakfast. I know it looks just like any other Azerbaijani grocery store but it is more than that. The a la carte menu is amazing. My favorites are the baked goods and salads. Breakfast plates are big so these are made for two; it comes with bagel, eggs, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers, olives, honey, and butter. So healthy and satisfying.!!!

Baku Delicious offers a wide variety of Russian/Caucasus/East European/Central Asian/Turkish products, and is my favorite among such vendors in the DMV area. As someone who loves light beers, I appreciate their selection of light beers from East European countries. They offer not only dry imported goods, but also freshly-made, yummy food, including dessert. The place is not only a food store, but a pleasant café as well - some tables and chairs to sit at, relax, enjoy a cup of coffee or latte, and the food. The atmosphere overall is friendly and family-like, and the service very helpful, and coming here is always a treat!

They have become very average. Was better two years ago. Dont know what happened. The fresh food has changed as well, believe they are trying to save money on ingredients. But of course sales prices continue to go up

Baku delicious has a really nice backyard place where the serve Lule-Kebab, which is I would say best in the area, very fresh and delicious, also it’s wrapped in Azerbaijani lavash. Highly recommend

Amazing place. It was worth of 4 hours driving. Great authentic breakfast and tea. Gunduz was so kind and offered us free tea and chocolate. He also made special “3 baji” (eggplant, pepper, tomatoes) dolma, a to go order for us. So you can actually call and make orders and they will make for you. Just make sure to let them know beforehand. We are definitely coming back and can’t wait to see their new restaurant that they plan to open.

I usually cant drink coffee because of headaches even though I love the smell of coffee, but Baku Delicious has a different touch to it, they have this half chocolate mixed coffee which is very deleciouse my favorite to grab each time I depart BD. I highly recommend asking for their signature coffee blend with Chocolate net time, and of course great Azerbaijani food all home made and fresh.

Purchased a chicken donner wrap from Baku and unfortunately i was beyond disappointed. Their chicken was very undercooked, their wrap was leaking with grease and the wrap didnt even taste like chicken more like a fishy taste. the fries were soggy and very raw, I do not recommend people to eat donner from Baku, very terrible experience.

This is a bakery/ cafe/ grocery store carrying a variety of Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Georgian food. My friend who has lived in Azerbaijan shops there regularly and says its very authentic.We had the full Azerbaijani breakfast, which included crumbled scrambled eggs with tomato, another dish made with eggs and plenty of chopped eggs (it was almost like a tabbouleh quiche, if you can imagine), 3 kinds of cheese, honey, butter, and 2 kinds of bread. The tandir (?) is a bit like a crusty naan, and the lavash is a bit like a crepe. It is way better than the sandwich wrap style lavash you may have gotten on a deli tray. The cost was about $25 and it was delicious. It did take a while to prepare, though, so consider getting some tea and maybe a package of fruit or nuts while you wait.I havent tried many of the grocery specialties but I look forward to doing so. Dont miss the refrigerated seafood case right by the door, and watch the kids (or yourself!) around the literal tower of candy that greets you near the entrance. We are definitely planning a return visit.

This is one of the most well designed grocery stores/restaurants weveever seen, and weve visited dozens of them all over the world. They have a wide selection of items. The food is home made and absolutely delicious! The place is spotless and everything is dress-right dress! The best part is the family that owns Baku Delicious! They are so kind, decent, knowledgeable, and welcoming! This is how a business should be run! My wife and I enjoyed it so much it was a little hard to leave, thats not an exaggeration! They this place, they are the best!!

We saw the owner at Burke Farmers Market one Saturday. We decided to visit the actual store this afternoon out of curiosity. I am so glad we went and what a treat it was to experience Azerbaijani food for the first time. The owner was so nice in explaining what he had at the counter. We got a beef samsa, pakhlava, and bunch of small desserts to try. Everything was delicious and we look forward to make another visit in the near future!

This was our first shopping experience at Baku Delicious. We were greeted by the owner and asked if we had any questions. Employees that noticed we were first time customers also asked if we found everything we were looking for. They also offered us Turkish coffee for being first time customers. The owner went over the discounts available for becoming a member. I would highly recommend Baku Delicious to anyone that is interested in purchasing Eastern European groceries. Turkish treats and pastries were of high quality and fresh... yummm.

This place is fantastic. Offers a deli, freshly brewed coffees and pastries both Azerbaijani and Turkish. The store owner is helpful and and very nice. The staff were super friendly. When I clumsily spilled my coffee that he made me for free, he forgave me and promptly made me another one.Even if I hadnt already intended to buy food there, I would have walked out with a ton of yummy pastries. Which I did.All of them were delicious. Every single one. Note: I wanted to try the Azerbaijani ones specifically because Ive had Turkish baklava and such before, but I have no doubt that those ones were good, too!I would highly recommend visiting for a cup of coffee and a pastry. Will be returning whenever I visit my friends in Fairfax.

Came in while waiting for my iPhone to get repaired, at the tech’s suggestion. Really great little Eastern European deli with hot dishes at the counter in back. Had a great lunch for like $6. Staff is super friendly and inviting. Can’t wait to come back and try other things.

This is a really cool place. They have a store/dessert/coffeeshop/cafe is one place. The espresso drinks are pretty good. The honeycake was a bit dry, but good nevertheless. I recommend this place. I want to come again to try it out more.

Very friendly staff. This location is large and open. You can easily see the kitchen and bakery. Very clean. The variety of the items that are available is impressive. The Turkish coffee is very well made. The baked goods are delicious. It was a very satisfying experience and I will surely revisit this bakery in the future.

So delicious, clean, and the friendliest workers/owners. Im obsessed with this place. My little boys love all the homestyle meals I bring home. The owners really want you to enjoy everything they have and educate you about the food and groceries. He will even let your try before you buy. Beautiful people and their food keeps me craving it the next day.

A shop the DC area has been lacking. Baku Delicious is indeed delicious, but also truly hospitable. Loved being able to shop, but also sit down for cay. Very Azerbaijani. Prices are remarkably fair. Will continue to go back every time I want to feel like I’m back in Azerbaijan.

Can’t express enough gratitude for Baku Delicious! This was my 1st dealings with them, but hopefully not my last. I reached out to them looking for someone to ship Azeri pastries to my home for my adopted daughter. She is Azeri and living in South Georgia. We have no access to Persian markets or bakeries. Well, let me tell you, I now have access! Baku Delicious sent the most beautiful Shekebura just in time for Novruz. My daughter was delighted! She set up her own Novruz display this morning. The hardest part was waiting for her to finish taking pictures before I could sample the Shekebura. It did not disappoint! 😍

Very nice place not far from downtown Fairfax. Ethnic grocery store and mini restaurant with mix of Russian and Azeri items. Food is fresh and pastry is delicious. Turkish coffee is a plus. Staff is very friendly. Big screen TV next to tables is great as one can watch sport games like World Soccer matches. Highly recommended for good mix of food and pastries with affordable prices.
