I recommend AMS for anyone that cares about top quality machine work to their components. I took my Honda head in there to get rebuilt, and while the price isnt the cheapest you can find around, the quality of work is excellent and worth the expense, and it is clear that James is passionate in what he does and knows what hes doing. If you care about your engine, I recommend AMS.

James, his crew and their work is top notch. James is always up front with what things are going to cost as well as letting you know what to expect (good or bad) prior to doing any work. Ive had numerous cylinder heads re-worked by him and have NEVER had a problem with his work. A master of his craft. If you want your machine work done correctly, take it here first.

Dozens and dozens of dealings with James at A.M.S. and never had an issue. When there are issues that arise, James is quick to call after he has tried several way to avoid adding to cost, but as with all things mechanical, sometimes there are further things being required that cant be known until the work is in process. Fantastic work all around and upstanding business ethic.

Ripoff, this shop will Rob you blind 320$$ for axle bearing swap, reluctantly I found a guy who did it correctly for 110 the pair, James at A.M.S tells me 120 over the phone per axle I get there and he starts upping the price and saying its this tough job, wow really the guy I brought it to had one axle completely stripped by the time I left the shop( 10 mins) save your time and moneywith these guys AND I forgot this shop is in conjystion with bills machine shop in Lynnwood, read about the review I gave those guys if interested. Both shops are a ripoff and looking to strike it rich on 1 job. Regards. If your looking for a real machine shop go to A&I machine shop in Snohomish behind advanced auto parts. Well worth it!!
