I am very impressed having worked with Master Johnny, and his team at Pep Boys to outfit my car with all new tires. After researching tires to determine which ones I wanted, I began calling various local tire shops in search of best pricing. Midway through my search I contacted Pep Boys on 128th St. SW, Everett, and spoke with Johnny. He was so personable and wanted my business. He instructed me to continue my search and when I had the best pricing to call him back and he would meet or beat it . I did exactly this and he beat my best pricing and was able to schedule me to get my new tires mounted right away. Not all tire shops do both balancing and alignment, but Johnnys does making it so convenient. They did a fantastic job and Im comfortably riding on a set of Goodyear Assurance Weather Ready tires. The pricing beat his competitors and he and his staff were a pleasure to work with.

I had an appointment set up for an oil change 9am a week in advance. They told me it will only take them 5 hours. Then it still wasnβt ready. Answering the phone while I was waiting, while I was placed on hold when I called. Not sure what theyβre doing. Computers not working.
I visited two weeks ago because the headlight was burned out. I found my first car and first problem and thought it was very nervous and serious, but I was very happy that the staff explained the problem honestly and kindly. Im going to visit again next time.

Had an appointment what is 15 minutes early left and came back an hour and a half later and all they had done was take me air out of the tires of one vehicle. I was there to swap tires from one vehicle to another, and when I questioned how long it took the old man at the counter was very rude so I told him to take my vehicles off the rack and left. I have done this job before and I know it doesnβt take hours to half a day to swap tires. This is the second time Iβve been there on both occasions thereβs always a car parked in the handicap spot that doesnβt have a license plate or a tag hanging in it.
Really appreciate Johnny and Tony, and their honesty. I had a vehicle with a specific quirk, and lacked the garage to complete the maintenance myself. I scheduled an appt, and unfortunately had to reschedule due to availability of techs. They were able to put me on the schedule for the next day they had someone available. Johnny and Tony were both not certain the service I was requesting was going to fix my problem, and concerned that I would be sinking money into maintenance not needed. I appreciate them trying to save me money! In this instance, the maintenance worked as hoped, and the vehicle has been running perfect for the last 2 weeks! The team went above and beyond in the efforts all the way around. Thanks!

Came here today because I had ordered tires off of Amazon and this was the closest place to me. Staff isnt attentive and seemed careless. They get the job done but at a cost. I had just gotten my seats detailed and I was left with oil marks and what not on my passenger seat and driver seat as well when finished. Took them about three hours to make my seats go from cleaned to dirty. If theyre this careless when entering your car, how careless do you think the service was ?! 1st and last time customer. They cant even get Google to update their picture or listing in Google Maps π€¦π»ββοΈ Cheap oil changes is probably their only pro. Cons out weigh this shop by a long run. Take your business elsewhere. Amazon, shame in you for listing these guys as a reputable dealer!

Gary and Johnny are amazing. The staff are awesome. Had an issue with some whining noise from the back thought it was brakes but they found a bad wheel bearing and replaced it. The noise was still there and it turns out it was my brakes. But had they not looked at the wheel bearing that wouldve caused me a big issue down the road. Magnanimous efforts and stupendous job all around. Will be recommending and going back whenever I need.
I called this place because it has good reviews. My mother is elderly and disabled she got a flat tire right down the road from the place not even 2 blocks and the lady I spoke with was like well we cant help you. You have to bring the car here. Then tried to sell me a tire for almost $200 not including the charge for the 2 block tow. I will never use this place. Not an ounce of humanity in there.

Went in for an oil change and a tire rotation. They claimed all the liquids were topped off. Next morning I went to use the windshield wiper fluid but nothing came out.They over tighten the lug nuts when they rotated the tires. Now my handbreak light wont turn off. I was told the car is in great condition.

Weak shop. Jonny the mgr cares but he cant find good mechanics. Why would you only have 1 mechanic that can fix a taillight issue? I paid $450. And its still not fixed and the 1 taillight pro is quitting next week. My guess is Pep Boys doesnt pay a competitive rate to mechanics. I like shops where more than 1 mechanic can fix a taillight. Pass on this shop.
Superior customer experience! Mario was very professional and respectful. This mechanic came recommended from a good friend and I see why. I was quoted a set amount for my car, when they finished the job he mistakenly didnβt factor a couple things that wouldβve increased my bill $300! He stated it was his mistake and he would not charge me due to my budget I initially mentioned to them. My car is also working good as new. I will recommend these hard working folk to all my friends and family!
I booked an apointment for this location online. I was able to select a 08 Smart Fortwo. I was having a battery as well as overheating issue. Pretty simple. I selcted the vehicle from the available drop down list and booked it for June 1st at 10am. When I got there for my appointment the older guy at the counter with white hair told me that they would not work on my car and that I must go to the manufacturer to get it handled. I take issue with this for two reasons.1. There is NOTHING abnormal about my car other than the parts are somewhat squished in it and located in various places. You do not need a special mechanic. I have had this car serviced at Andys Auto as well as gotten tires from Les Schwab. Even if my car was strange I shouldnt be able to select it from the list from Pep Boys and book it for service.2. Recommending a customer go to the manufacturer is such an incredibly asinine thing to hear from someone at a car mechanic shop. I am baffled he told me to do that. Just about everyone knows how much money they can screw you out of for no reason and even say there are problems when there are none with your car.Dont take your car here for repair. He also said to take it to BMW even though the car is a Mercedes car because he couldnt even be bothered to briefly educate himself about it before offering an alternative. Also insisted that they dont carry the battery I needed even though the website clearly displays it on a super sale. Absolute garbage. Waste of my gas/time as well as potentially risky strain on my car given its condition at the moment.And a quick note. He wasnt wearing a mask either despite obviously being a front desk person. To all of you people who are working your job without any face coverings and constantly coming into close physical/verbal contact with others you are a danger to the community and should not be allowed to work at all. I dont care how optional your companys policy or your countys laws say it is.Update: After taking the car to a family owned repair shop they were happy to take a look at it. The only issue was that I had lost my V belt for the alternator and before then I figured out that the coolant was very low which was part of the reason the car was overheating. Such a simple problem that these guys should of been at least willing to try to check. Shame on you for not being willing to help with a car.
I came here for simple maintenance stuff. So far so good. Johnny is very friendly. I saw a few peoples review talking about overpricing. Pepboys have standard price for all their stores. I also called and compared price with other shops before I come here. They dont have the cheapest services for everything.
I went in to get my front breaks done, there was a lot of grinding metal to metal and they told me that I needed to get a fluid flush. All in all the bill was high, but they missed that the back breaks were just as bad, and here Im thinking more $$ but then the nice gentlemen said we went ahead and fixed them for free since we missed it in our first exam. Wow I am so thankful that they didnt charge me for that I would have been financially screwed. Thanks so much you guys are the best!! I will recommend you guys any day!

They were told only look at one thing and they chose to do other things! Put a nipple in tire when the lifted car! Very unprofessional and have filed complaints thru BBB as well the corporate office. Never take your vehicle here! The manager is unprofessional! Oscar ruined my tire! Do not ever let them fix your stuff!

On top of that, you had the best price, and the work was completed when you said it would be completed. I appreciated the excellent service and I wanted to thank everyone at the shop for the great team work.
Positives: They were willing and able to chat with my via e-mail and not force me to call them. They are open on Saturdays and seem to have availability most weeks. On this particular day they had three spots available 1, 2, and 3. I claimed the 3 oclock spot. When I was called at 5:30 I was told my car was done (or they were done doing what they would) and hed stay there until I came to get it. Front end guy was pretty nice.Negatives: I came in to get an alignment, I did not receive an alignment.We had purchased tires and had them in the garage until we could schedule the alignment, so as not to ruin the tires. The 2+ hours they had the car they only put on the tires. They said a bolt broke when the tire was removed and it they had to wait for a new one. To have the 2 tires put on it was supposed to be $24, but the bolt and putting the new bolt in (?) brought the total to $60+. Im a little confused because if you had to take it out, wouldnt have to put it in, so wouldnt that be part of the $24? So now I have to get an alignment done near me ASAP on Monday (thankfully I had the day off), but I have an early morning appointment a few cities away Monday and my alignment is pretty screwy. So this just really screwed me up. I feel when they realized they couldnt do the alignment because they wouldnt drive down the road to pick up the bolt, that they should have contacted me to find out if I wanted the new or old tires back on. I would have said put the old back on.I wouldnt say dont go to these guys, but I wont be going back.
Five stars costumer care. Mario took care of rescheduling my appointment and he provided me a free service as well after my scheduled visit was conflicted with someone else and caused me a delay. After giving them a second chance It took me around hour and half for changing oil and rotating tires here. Satisfied first time customer.
At first they seem reliable and willing to get my car good they had me at the shop 3 times within a week.. they were faster than expected to change transmission and clutch but who knows how fast they did it while doing that they mess the 02 sensor up they wont accept fault for it. I read online while changing a transmission a 02 sensor can fail same with the Crankshaft sensor. I paid the 118 dollars for a whole car inspection and all the problems of the car were told to me day by day after each repair I had a new problem.
Mario was extremely professional and patient. He made sure all my needs were met and was flexible to modify his and his teams schedule to make things work for me. Would definitely make this my regular place for service.
Boy was I in a mess - car started to overheat,water gushing out from the reservoir. I was lucky to be neat Elliott Tire, who I knew to be a decent shop in my old neighborhood of Ballard. And so is this one. Acutally they were exceptional! The manager went out of his way to help me right on the spot, and came up with a likely cause - a bad radiator overflow cap. They diagnosed it quickly and looked for other issues that could have contributed to the problem. They had the new cap delivered, tested it and added coolant. 45 minutes and only $13.46 later I was on my way. Car is running cool and fine now. If I ever break down again, I hope I am near an Elliott Tire and Service center. And I am going to look for their closest location to my home and start using them regularly. The mechanics are awesome!

On 07/22/2015 I brought my car in for battery trouble and had them check the brakes. They fixed the battery by replacing it and also fixed the connection to the battery. They said the brakes on the front needed an estimated cost of $1051.53 work done on them. I took my vehicle to the dealership and the quote they gave me to fix the brakes was a fourth of the cost that Elliott Tire and Service Center quoted me. I wonder now if what I paid for the battery and cable was necessary. I will not be back as your quotes are outrageous and unjust and the work you said needed to be done, did not need to be done.

Went in to get one of my tires checked for a leak because I had found it sagging a bit that morning. Brought it in and was instantly greeted by the most excellent customer service I have ever encountered that instantly put me at ease. Turns out it was just a nail and they repaired at no cost to my surprise and all the guy said was to just come back for an oil change in return.Well when the time comes, Im going to be getting my tires from these guys. Also I didnt catch the guys name but hope his leg gets better!
I had a horrible experience. They charged me 250$ to change my spark plugs as they were due. After doing so, the engine light turned on. I went back and they wanted to charge me for the diagnosing the problem. They took the car for a whole day, then called me to let me know that theres something wrong with the coils and wanted to charge me 500$ to replace them. Then, I asked them to turn off the engine light: they said they dont have the scanner that can do that!!!! and that I need to go to VW dealer to turn it off. I did. The engine light went back on!! I went somewhere else, and it turned out they USED THE WRONG SPARK PLUGS ON MY CAR WHICH ALSO RUINED MY COILS!!!! Changed both the spark plug and the coils AGAIN elsewhere with more knowledgeable people, and had no problems ever since, and its been 4 months.....
My 2nd time there. I had problem starting the car. I called them the last minute the day before. They were nice enough to let me in the very next day. They did a quick diagnosis of the problem free of charge. They could sell me a new battery. But instead they sent me to Costco for a refund. Very honest.

Hey guys. Thanks for the quick repair work that was done on my car. The other shop down the street had my car the whole day and couldnt get it done. You were able to finish the alignment after the install in about 1 hour. Super job.
This is a tough review. I have very mixed feelings about this place. First, I will allow that they are amidst a name/ownership change to Pep boys. That noted, as Elliott tire, you need to request an estimate quote for any info online, which I did, but never got a response, so I went in for hopefully more efficient service. Not! I was immediately profiled as a small female driving a mini coupe. Ok, so you can all visualize this, except - I come from a family of car guys and am an extremely aggressive driver. I drive a mini because its an environmentally friendly BMW. I drive fast, love curves and use my manual transmission like a boss. I told John this but still was talked down to and he tried selling me touring tires. Lol. I asked for quotes on 2 different high performance tires. Was treated as an inconvenience. If it wasnt for the good Google rating, I would have walked away-that and I needed multiple services and didnt want to go to multiple places.Now, its Mario to the rescue. I called for a new estimate (tires, remember) and he was fantastic. Worked with me well, gave me options and called with updated info. I ended up finding a screaming deal online for my tires (high performance) but still had them do the work. The quality of the work was great and Mario was fantastic, but cant give higher than 3 stars because of my initial treatment.
First off, I wouldnt believe all these five star ratings this place has been given. I went to this place a four months ago for an oil change and Johnny comes back to me and says I need over a $1,000.00 in service done to my car. I maintain my car very well and I know what I need for service and what I dont. The best part was when I was told I needed my brake pads change. I have locking wheel nuts on my rims and there is no way possible that they took the rims off to check the brake pads thickness. All they are doing is up selling service to people they think they can scam. Oh, by the way, I havent done any of there $1,000.00 services they said I needed and my car is running fine. Dont trust these thieves.
Ive been here three times to have tire work done on my vehicles since moving to the area a year and a half ago and the staff has always been helpful and nice. Furthermore I havent had any issues with the work performed. I havent had them do any maintenance on the vehicle aside from the tires so I cant comment on the quality of their other work.The waiting area leaves a lot to be desired, which is what Id say is about the only downside to the place. They have chairs, albeit theyre basic and stained. Theyve got a single restroom, a coffee maker, and some magazines on a table. Fortunately theres a taco bell next door along with various other shops so most people could wander around or find something else to do while waiting.As such my review is for 5 stars as Id rather go to a good shop than be overcharged for questionable work done while waiting in a fancy waiting room.As a final note this is a Goodyear shop so theyve got Goodyear and Dunlop products, and a small selection of rims/wheels. They did have to order a replacement tire for me when I picked up a nail so be aware that they dont stock every tire in every size as well, but theyve been good to work with me to let me know what they have that will fit my vehicles and when they can get in any tires they have to order. In addition if youve got a Goodyear credit card or credit account you can utilize it here for promotional financing or for the other benefits they offer which Ive taken advantage of without any issue.
Was there on 10/31/18 @10 am (Im markus by the way ) I came worried about my alignment but left 100% taken care of and satisfied. I love their new location. Staff is nice. Also when I had something come up and I had to re schedule they werent saying anything negative or rude but instead helped me out to schedule apoitment next day at my convenience. Seats are not plastic and they super comfy so thanks for that. Really left surprised and taken care of and had my satisfaction 100% . No one paid me for this review.
They dont seem to have a good handle on their online appointment schedule where youre able to schedule services they cant honor.I had them replace two of my tires and they didnt wear gloves or clean off my steering wheel, door handle, shift knob, or my hand brake. I had to clean all the grease of them at home.Wont be back. Ill try Les Schwab next time.
First I must say that the staff is very friendly, especially the lady at the front desk. However, I do hope that the staff working on the cars does a better job on the cars then they do on filling out the paperwork. The invoice indicates odometer in/out was 86100. Two days later it is still 85866 and I have driven at least 100 miles. I know I am nitpicking but is might become important in case warranty service.On this I am not sure, but I have reason to believe that my car was ready outside and some way the info did not get to the front desk until I went and inquired.....?
TLDR; I wouldnt recommend.I called to ask some questions about the state of my cars tires/wheels, and before I could get all the words out, the person on the other line kept cutting me off.The issue is that Ive had my tires changed and aligned here about 6 months ago, and ever since then Ive had the tire pressure sensor light come on my dashboard. Soon after the incident, I called to see what was going on, and the person who answered the phone (sounded like a mechanic or something), brushed it off as nothing serious, although they might have to take a look to see what was really going on.That was about half a year ago, and when I called today to get a better understanding of what the heck is going on, and why this light came on again (after my mechanic turned it off), I was repeatedly cut off while questioning.In conclusion, the reason for the 2-star review was not because of the TPS sensor going off, but being repeatedly cut off during my phone call. Far from assuaging my concern, this compounded my distrust of their service. As of now, Im ambivalent as to whether to take my car to their shop or other services nearby.I dont know about others, but my impression of the owner (maybe just a manager?) Mario wasnt very favorable when I visited. I dont know what it is, but I kept getting the impression that I wasnt wanted in the shop. It wasnt his words or action, but something about his facial expression, I think.All in all, if someone were to ask me about where to get their tires looked at, I would recommend they look elsewhere first.
It was Thursday around 3pm, I pulled up to an almost full parking lot with almost every garage filled. Obviously, I figured they might be a little busy, so I asked the guys outside how long they thought it might be for an oil change. The two men immediately scoffed and proceeded to sneer next week not knowing whether they were being serious or not I replied softly really? To which they replied ya, doesnt this parking lot give you any inclination as to whats going on?. I was so furious with his handling of customer service, I drove away to recompose myself and decided to make an appointment online to see if his later statement, about the appointment being next week, was accurate. I made an appointment for 5pm. I came in at the aloted time. The parking lot had gone down. Most of the garages were sitting empty including the oil change garage. I went in, a guy greeted me, I tried saying I was here for my appointment but he cut me off and said hed be with me in a moment. Another asked if I was here for my appointment, I said yes. He then started to say that you appointment got canceled. He said he tried calling me to cancel the appointment but the phone number was disconnected to which I replied I didnt get the call and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and maybe offering to help make an appointment at another location (or putting me in one of the many empty garages) he simply argued with me about how he did nothing wrong and kept trying to prove that it was fault. Not very good customer service or time management skills or placement of appoinments. This place may be right next door to me but Ill NEVER come back to this location. Maybe Ill try a different and see if they are any better.
My first time to get the oil changed there, I was waiting for 1.30 hour with appointment. Then they gave me a long list of quotes. They recommended me to get some parts repaired include the alignment and I agreed to do so. 3 months later, I took my car to get the oil changed again, I was waiting for 2.40h even though I already made appointment with them. Waiting for 2.40h is too bad for me, but something that even worst is they gave me a long list of quote again which costed $1,500 and they recommended me to do the alignment again, then I reply them that I already paid for the alignment $29 last time which is 3 months ago. Then I start losing my trust to this place. Oh any way, my second visit, they quoted me $1,500, I paid only $620 at the other car service place in Bothell. I promise myself that I go to Elliot only for the oil change because this place close to my house, so I called to make the appointment for my third time oil changed. You know what happened? When I got there, the front desk guy said sorry because his technician has just left. I told my friends not to go there any more.
Johnny was able to get me in and out in no time. He never let on how busy he may have been just insisted he had time for me. He was able to look at my truck and my situation to give me the best deal possible. He even got me a rebate. Ford wanted to charge me $186.00 for a tire. Johnny only charged me $156.00
The worst car shop ever! I took my VW there to change my headlight and waited 1h to find out that they disassembled the whole front part of my car because the guy was watching a YouTube video on how to change it. Not to mention that I told them multiple times to call me if he didnβt know how to do it because I know how to put it in myself! At the end I told them that I didnβt want a 90 day warranty because if anything comes up after 90 days Iβm totally suing them.

Very rude and disrespectful.Called to get a quote, and was being interrupted. He said they were busy until Monday. When I said Id call again another time when someone was available, he just said, uh-huh and hung up on me.If Im being treated this way, how can I trust that theyll treat my car any better?

Everytime I come in I also get great customer service and love the crew. Brandon and Johnny always take care of me when I come in and make my experience awesome! I always refer my friends,family, coworkers and even my customers here.
1) Not a friendly communicator, kept interrupting me everytime I had questions or concerns about my car, he wouldnt let me finish my sentence.2) Also they cannot estimate how much time something is going to take. I had other plans in the morning, and a guy kept telling me oh dont you worry my guy is working on it it should only take couple minutes. Um what?!Ok. Idk. Thats fine. Thats not my issue I have hereSo reason I came, I kept having to jump start my car. I came early morning but left with newly replaced battery cable 3 hours later. They did I fine job I couldnt be more happy with work. They did great.But it was what got them there that threw me off.I came to have my battery checked at 7am, I left at 10:30am unhappy. Why? you ask3) Before I left I noticed pen marks all over my leather padded panel. They took care of that, and I appreciate, but its not very professional...Also my car is a little messy and dusty, but it doesnt mean you have to get into my car seat with dirty work pants, I mean I dont know how else they left greasy black residue on leather seats.Just be a little cutious is all a costumer can ask. Not very professional.
Was told I couldnt get my oil changed due to oil leaking from a wrong size of oil cap. When I told the mechanic the last place was a Pep Boys in Marysville who changed it he said they dont do good work. After a $600 estimate I still need my oil changed. Did Msvl Pep Boys put the wrong size back or there really isnt a problem that requires a entire lil pan be replaced? And whats up with saying another Pep Boys was bad?

These guys haggled with me to work with my budget! Also worked with me to get my car on the left because it has a low on it, at first they said they couldnt do it they let me assist in making sure wouldnt damage the kit and did the job!!!

These guys were great ! Tested my battery and discovered my attery was dead ! They replaced it quickley and for a great price !
First I take my car and they leave the oil filter loose and the oil is leaking everywhere. They give me a credit for another oil change so I give them another chance. I make an appointment for 10 am and its 11:30 and still car isnt even in the shop to change oil. I call and John the assistant manager is arguing with me and gets mad and hangs up. So I wouldnt recommend this shop.
