Every time I go to Guitar Center in Evansville, Indiana, the staff are always friendly and helpful. In my most recent interaction with the staff, they truly went above and beyond to help me with my damaged microphone. In many stores, I do not feel compelled to ask for assistance, but not here. As I said before, the staff are friendly, helpful, and trustworthy!

Had a blast just walking around! So much to see! So many options and the staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful! Bought a keyboard, guitar stands today and my Fiance bought an extremely nice amp last weekend! We love this place!!

Unfortunately little to impossible to find good help. This used to be a great place to go to for music and dj related needs, customer experience is down significantly.

I guess I have to give this place a 1 star in order to leave this comment. I went in there on 01-22-21 and they have got to hire better help with the customer in mind. I had a mind set of buying a new Fender Stratocaster or a Gibson Les Paul. I was in there for nearly 45 minutes and the place only had a couple of customers but everyone of the boys working in there just gave me a weird look like I didnt have enough money to be in there. Within the time I was in there no one ever ask me if I needed any help or anything. Although I did buy a set of strings because I needed them and a new tuner because my old one quit. But I will take my money and spend it somewhere else. I do not recommend this place at all.

Its clean. The staff was very helpful and attentive. I was even able to test out one of their drum sets they have set up. They are also very knowledgeable about what they are selling

I called ahead for them to hold strings to the side for me and help me put them on and the employee said he would i have bought 2 guitars here in the past 2 months and when i went in there he pushed it off on the another employee who said he couldn’t help me because he’s not familiar with acoustic guitars(news flash you work at the guitar center)who then pushed us of to the manager who said we charge for that service we said ok then he said you’ll have to come back Tuesday that guy doesn’t work today. You don’t wanna help me that’s fine will be going to your competition less than a mile away

The guys at this store were SUPER helpful in getting me the microphones I needed for my elementary school musicals! They were very patient when working out any issues, and always friendly. Best thing is that they’re always available. Every time I called, someone answered the phone and was able to help me, and they were very prompt in replying to emails. Great experience!

Always a joy going into any guitar center. This one is always a fun trip. However my rating is not based on the store or the workers its just some stuff always seems to be more then its worth. Still a great, fun and happy environment to be in for beginners and up.

Employees didnt check ID or any other form of verifying I was who I said I was before picking up my order. Needed only my name and order number. I expected to have to at least verify the last 4 digits of my card.Order was done online and shipped to store and that part was good. Item arrived on time and in good condition

Ordered some stuff online for my drum kit and was sent the wrong items. I took the wrong items back to the store and was told to get the stuff I have already paid for, I would have to reorder it and pay again for them to be sent to me. Your company sent me the wrong parts and now you want to double charge me to fix your mistake? Ill just take my refund and shop elsewhere from now on.

I’m a drummer, so obviously that’s where I spend my time. I always am helped in that section and get great advice. They help me out and always look to help me better my gear collection. 10/10

My guitar was completely destroyed that I bought a month ago at Guitar Center. I had a protection plan and the associates took care of everything. Im very pleased with the service and helpful nature of the staff. I really appreciated them making this tragedy as painless as possible.

I was automatically greeted and helped by a staff member. Was supplied with exactly what I went in there for. I got in and out in a very timely fashion.

I bought a yamaha 105 keyboard from the guitar center in Evansville, In, I did my home work and checked on key boards all over the web. I talked to William on the phone and he did a wonderful job helping me to understand which key board was best for me. I think he might of spent an hour on the phone with me. I found the keyboard he told me would best meet my needs at another site on the web, but the other site salesman was impatient with me. So I wanted the sale to go to William. I called him and he said he would match the other stores price. I was very happy since the guitar center is in driving distance to me. Even though I could have had it shipped I wanted to be able to reach the store for questions and so forth. If you are buying a key board I would buy from William at the guitar center. His manager Matthew is also very polite and easy to talk to. When my husband met William he said he had baggy pants and dreadlocks.Dont let the style of this young man keep you from working with him, he knows his keyboards and is very professional. The look is just what young folks do these days.

Terrible. I made the 2 hour drive so my wife could actually play the piano. The salesman seemed very helpful. I went to my church to get permission to buy the piano. I drove all the way back to the store later that week. I could have ordered on line and received free shipping but I wanted to make sure the salesman received a commission.I called corporate ahead of the trip to check out some details. They pointed out some discrepancies with the salesmans claims but I figured out some alternatives and made the trip. When I arrived we recognized each other and began to finalize the deal. Suddenly everything he had told me was a mystery to him. The price kept going up and up.When I told him what corporate had said he looked at me and asked if I was sure I had talked to him. It was crazy. I had to walk away and we have purchased the same package was originally discussed for just a few dollars more than I had talked about on my first visit to Guitar Center.So sad. Ive done a fair amount of business with the store in the past. I am not sure about the future.

Has everything I love

It made my dad today. Going there with my brother getting him his drum set. I showed old by working in the bass room. How loud those speakers get. Things stated falling off the wall. And he jumped back. I was only at 20 25 percent bass. Lol.

The service sucks. The guy wanted to charge 56.00 to strings my guitar. He said it would only take 45mins. So I left my guitar on the guitar stand as he instructed and when I came back an hour later, it was still there and no sign of that employee. I highly recommend Moore Music. Better service, selections and prices!!!!

Probably the best music store in Evansville though its a national chain. Helpful staff though just a bit limited on certain equipment like rack audio components. Other than that I would give them a five when it comes to knowledge and help.

A nice place to go in and browse and play guitars and keyboards. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also buy used instruments which is nice. The only thing I would improve is that when a customer is selling them a used instrument, the process takes a long time.

If youve been to a Guitar Center before this experience will be familiar. They have tons of guitars, and even an all wood humidity controlled room that houses some of them. They have a little bit of everything, and usually specialists in each area. They didnt have exactly what I was looking for, but offered to order it.

The customer service is great, very knowledgeable, and are great at helping you find the perfect guitar. But when you go to sell them a guitar, they basically try steal the guitar away from you, especially ones that are worth some money. I went it with a guitar that was worth $130, give or take $5, and they offered me $40. Id expect that treatment from Game Stop, but not a guitar store, especially one where Ive spend well over $1000 at...

If this place does not have what you want which would be surprising they will order it for you in a heartbeat. Their employees are very nice and very helpful. And the selection is spectacular.

I bought a Crafter from the guitar center in Evansville. The experience was fantastic and the service was knowledgeable. I was helped by a fellow called Matthew. The thing is, Im in a wheelchair so finding the right guitar was difficult, but Matt was very willing to help and even sent a follow up e-mail to make sure things were going well. overall, its a 20/10 from me. You wont be disappointed
