When my wife and I decided to replace our old vinyl fence with a new wood fence I did a lot of research on fence contractors across the United States. I found Mr. Fence. I knew they were going to be the ones I wanted to work with. Shawn and his crew brought one of their rigs to Denver, Colorado (From Indiana) and did such an amazing job with our fence. The fence has been in place for four days now and Ive had no less than 10 people knock on our door to compliment it. One guy was adamant that I give him Mr. Fences contact information so that he could get the same fence around his home. Shawn and company further amazed me by inviting other local fence contractors to learn from him how to build this custom fence.

We had Mr Fence remove an older wooden fence and install a new 6 ft vinyl fence in our backyard. We could not be happier with the service they provided, the quality of the product and the personnel on site. A big shout out to Jeremy, Justin and crew! They were very conscientious and professional and did an exceptional job of installation of the new fence! We would highly recommend Mr. Fence!

The whole process moved very quickly from start to finish. I stopped to look at fencing and Shawn (owner) promptly asked if I needed some help. We have a smaller dog and my concern was him getting through the pickets. Shawn tossed a bundle of fencing in my truck and told me to just take it and see if it worked. Didn’t expect that but it sure quelled our concerns. We started the process and everyone in the office was very polite and professional. I met with Al and we went over our plans in person and they were off to the races. As soon as it was complete Al reached out to make sure it met our expectations. Admittedly there were a few minor things which I emailed to Al and almost immediately got a call from Shawn and then another from Al. The very next day, before we had even rolled out of bed it was all taken care of and we are definitely satisfied with the results. The communication and sense of urgency they showed to giving us what we wanted is why (when needed) we will definitely do business with them again.

Very professional, arrived on time. Took away my old wood fence plus extra rails of wood, I asked them if they could remove those as well because I could not lift to remove them and they did with no hesitation. I had dips in my yard and I asked them if they could fill those for me with the extra dirt I had after they dug the holes, they did this for me too. They were above and beyond what they had to do. Very friendly crew. They were finished in 6 hours, the fence is beautiful.. I am very happy with my decision.

I was called on the 15th of July to ask if they could come out and measure the area I wanted fence as their schedule had changed and I could get my fence installed 3-4 weeks early. Scott showed up as planned Friday afternoon the 16th for a thorough inspection and measuring. Installation was scheduled for Monday the 19th at 7:30am, they showed up early at 7:15am.The crew was professional, efficient, asked questions when needed and made sure I was happy with the insulation. They were finished by 2:30pm and I didnt see them even take a lunch break.Highly recommended from start to finish. Thanks to Jennie, Scott, Al, Bruce and the installation crew. Great Job !!!

The crew was very respectful, and answered all our questions. They arrived on time and did an excellent job. We had a 6ft wooden fence replaced. They removed all the 4x4’s and old fencing plus hauled it away for us. Which was a major job in itself! The price was very reasonable for the amount of work it took remove. It was also a VERY hot day. They installed a 6ft vinyl fence with a 10 ft gate and it looks great. They cleaned up and even moved dirt to fill in the old and new holes. It was all done in one day. Would totally recommend them!

We have had two different types of experiences with this company and I cannot tell you enough good things or thank them enough. They first rebuilt our deck on our house. From the very beginning, Shawn and his amazing team helped us pick out the type and color of decking for our deck and assisted us in figuring out what kind of railing to put on the deck. They came to my house and worked until dark and back the next morning. The deck was finished the next day and it was more amazing than I had ever imagined. The team that came were efficient, nice, and very knowledgeable. They definitely exceeded our expectations.Our second experience with Mr. Fence was during my sons Eagle Scout project. We asked for a donation and again Mr. Fence exceeded our expectations. Shawn was more than willing to help out my son. Without him the project would not have been possible. It seems longer than a week, but it was a week ago that our fence was installed. It is wonderful! We cannot say enough good things about Mr. Fence! We received an estimate for our vinyl fence on the same day that they measured for it. Shawn was extremely professional, always responsive and answered all 30+ questions I had for him. They estimated a 4-week install date but they were able to install it in less than a week which is amazing given most fence companies said it would be 6-8 weeks. Owen and his install team were so professional, arrived early to our house, and cleaned up everything before they left. Our vinyl fence is high quality, level, and extremely sturdy.

Mr.Fence installed our vinyl fence in Owensboro. Bruce and Krystal worked with us on the estimate process and were very professional. Bruce gave us so many details on the process and was very informative. We had a fence that had lost its integrity due to damage and we were concerned about our dogs.They installed the fence much faster than I thought because we ordered a color. Mr. Fence and all of the employees were amazing to work with. They were very quick with getting back with us about any questions and even quicker about getting our fence installed at our new house. They have went above and beyond for us. Two days ago they were putting a fence in for my neighbor about a month after ours was put in. I had a question about my gate and asked one of the gentleman working on my neighbors fence about it. He listened to my question abs came over right away looked at the gate adjusted it as needed. I booked on 9/11 to have a vinyl fence and part wooden privacy fence installed and was told three weeks. It was not installed fully until 11/10.I had to call several times to find out what was going on. Each week I was told they were still waiting on a manufacturer to send the black vinyl. Then I was told they did not send all of the material. I called each week for approximately three weeks straight to check on the status because I was told that they were expecting it the next week each time I called.They eventually put up what materials they did have, which was the wooden privacy fence. I even asked them if they could just do non vinyl because at this point I was told the black vinyl could take up to December to come in stock!We can only control the controllable and I do not hold them accountable for the manufacture of the material. What I hold Mr. Fence accountable is for the POOR COMMUNICATION and UNTIMELY EXPECTATIONS. You should call and update your customers, it should not be the other way around. I would had been less agitated if you were on tops of this issue and had let me know without me having to stay on top of it instead.Also, the installers were not mean but also were not friendly and left quite a little mess behind. I have been finding and picking up wire every time I mow. There has been over a dozen finding of debris and material left behind.

Exceeded my expectations. The install crew was second to none. They were in and out in less than 2 days even in the middle of winter! They were extremely efficient and when they left you couldn’t even tell they were there except for the new fence. They tore down the old and had the new one up and with a great experience from start to finish.

Mr. Fence was very professional and quick. They did a complete takedown of my old fence and put up the new one in 2 days, even with rain on one of the days. They wore smiles on their faces, made sure the fence was exactly as it needed to be, answered all of my questions and were great to work with.

I Talked to Dale out some fencing choices. He was professional and went over the pros and cons of wood vs vinyl. Was very impressed with his knowledge and insight.

I would not recommend Mr. Fence. They installed a privacy fence for my parents nearly one year ago. It is junk. the back gate has a big gap, boards are warping all over the place. I know quality work, this isnt it. They tried contacting them but could not get any resolution to the problems they installed. It was overpriced as well. It seems they took advantage of an older couple.

For the most part, my wife and I feel that the whole fence experience has been nothing but subpar. We truly want to have a positive outlook on the situation, but it is hard to at this point.We chose Mr Fence due to it being the largest in the tri-state and we like to support local businesses.Not only did they get our business, but two other neighbors got fences installed by Mr Fence within 2 months of ours because of us saying who installed ours. We wish we could have steered them elsewhere.I know this negative review probably isn’t much for the largest fence company in the tri-state. However, word of mouth tends to go far whether it being good or bad.The company installed a pressure treated fence for my parents 10-15 years ago and it has been a solid fence, but I have now opened my eyes to understand quality changes, which is disappointing.From having 10 plus loose boards that were missing 4 out of the 6 nails, badly warped boards (we understand wood will do this some, but some were/are very extreme) and a section that is bowed in and very noticeable (my neighbors even pointed out the subpar work). I also still have a gate with upside down hinges.I made sure to bring this up when I called the office about power lines they hit. They hit it twice and on seprate legs.The hit power lines really just topped it off. It has been a very inconvenient situation the whole way. From having to have Vectren out to make repairs, a HVAC tech out for repairs because we had no AC with the house 85 degrees and my time to repair the extremely warped boards and missing nails.For all of the inconveniences that has been given to us due to the fence, we asked for Mr Fence to cover the HVAC repair bill. I was given the run around about how it wasn’t their fault and he would probably be taken to court by Vectren for the repairs. Not to mention they had to hand dig all of the posts because they were too close to the markings. They supposedly have a protocol for taking pictures of the post they hand dig, but they have none.I wanted to give them the opportunity to make things right before deciding to leave a negative review. I hope our outlook can be changed to more positive, but as of now it’s not.

Due to an unfortunate move, I had to build a fenced area for my fur babies. The quality and look of the fence was amazing. Living on the highway I pull into my house and I’m never disappointed. The did a fabulous job ~ thank you Mr.Fence and Collen for an exceptional job.

This company is great! From the office staff to the field crew....amazing. Our job had to be delayed 2 or 3 times due to weather but no fault of theirs. They kept me informed the whole time. Sean and his crew did an outstanding job. They walked through the layout with me at the start and suggested how to make the fence look the best. They started at 7:30 in the morning and didnt stop until they finished around 5:30. They made sure everything was straight and pleasing to the eye. A beautiful addition to our backyard pool. Their estimate was slightly higher than the 3 others I got but you get what you pay for and what you get from Sean and his crew and all of the Mr. Fence personnel is PERFECTION!

If you live outside of Evansville, they dont have time for you.

I was very pleased with this project by Mr. Fence, from the initial visit made by Scott to provide an estimate to the actual installation of my new fence. They guys doing the work were very courteous, polite and clearly knew what they were doing. They took the time to ask my preference regarding the placement and installation of a gate and went the extra mile in getting the posts set and the height evened up precisely to provide an excellent appearance. They very competently made modifications in existing chain link fencing to adjoin to the new fence. I could not be more pleased with the final product and the fact that there were no problematic issues with either the office or installers. I can definitely recommend Mr. Fence to anyone considering the purchase of a quality fence for their property. First-rate all around!

We had an outstanding experience with Mr. Fence. We had a complicated installation because in addition to our fence, they had to coordinate with our 2 neighbors whose properties adjoined ours. Both neighbors agreed to purchasing a fence as well. Our sales consultant, Scott, was great to work with in getting estimates, as well as coordinating the billing in such a way to enable separate billing for us and our neighbors. Tim was the supervisor for the installation and was outstanding to work with. We appreciated his attention to detail and he made sure we were kept up to speed on any issue related to the installation. The results are exceptional. We are extremely pleased and very satisfied. Not only was the service exceptional but additionally, the quality of the fence is exceptional. Needless to say, we are very satisfied and would highly recommend Mr. Fence and their excellent workers to anyone considering purchasing a fence.

We had a great experience with Mr. Fence. Originally we worked with another company that was less than ethical, but Mr. Fence came in and saved the day. They delivered on their promises, on time and with quality workmanship. They were friendly and flexible as well. Highly recommended!

We had a 5-foot aluminum fence installed a year ago. The fencing was of inferior quality, but unfortunately I did not realize this until my lab forced herself between the bars by bending the thin metal. I have compared the quality of my fence with my sons, and his is much sturdier than mine.Also one of the gates was installed at an angle to the attaching panel, therefore the lock did not want to catch. They fixed this by loosening the screws on the latch so it would meet the catch??? I have attempted several times to speak with the owner. The employees go to great lengths to protect him from discontented customers. I have been unhappy with this fence ever since and finally had to post my feelings.1 Week later: I would like to update my post as I heard immediately from the owner of Mr Fence. 2 days later, he was here at my home surveying the problem. At first he was willing to tear it all out and put in a stronger model, but I hesitated since we had laid a concrete foundation along the fence. He then came up with a strategy to replace a gate with a stronger model and reinforce the entire fence with crossbar to withstand the assault of our labrador retriever (no expense to me). I am very much pleased at the instantaneous response and his determination to correct the situation to my satisfaction.

Just bought a new house and my wife really wanted to fence in our backyard. I didnt want to just fence in part of it and split the backyard up so we decided on doing the whole backyard. It ended up being around 350 ft of fencing with the ground being pretty uneven. Mr. Fence was scheduled to come out on a Thursday, but the rain pushed them back. But what I didnt expect was their crew to come out that Saturday and spend all day to get the fence finished! I really appreciated them finishing it on the weekend allowing us to enjoy our newly fenced back yard Saturday afternoon with our dog running around! We had Alex as the lead for the installation team and he did a great job explaining and walking me through the finished fence. The fence itself looks great and is very sturdy! Id definitely recommend Mr. Fence! They also had a supervisor come by after the fence was finished to make sure it was up to the quality they like.

Way overpriced

Had a full $4,100 privacy fence installed and they did fine. Then later tried to get pricing to install a small fence to separate my yard. The salesperson Scott came to the house to give us an estimate. When I called him several days later, he said he left it on the back patio? Who does this? Who would do this and at least not call and follow up. Weak salesperson. I told him that I didnt need cedar and asked him to re-price the fence with pine. 7 days later...nothing. I called the office and spoke to a manager (Danny?) who told me that they are busy, but he would have me something back that same day. Still nothing 4 days later. I understand this is a small job, but if they dont want to do it, they should just say so, Very unprofessional. Moral of the story, dont bother with them unless you plan on spending several thousand dollars or they just wont talk to you.

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate and never showed up.

Quite a few installation problems, but most issues have been resolved. Waiting on a final resolution then will be satisfied. Tim, the foreman working through the issues created by another foreman, has been most helpful. Great customer service from Tim.

Went to them for a vinyl fence along with several projects at our house. They were very organized and the work was perfect! Will be doing business with them again in the future.

Not what i was expecting, especially since they are the most expensive. Quite a few installation problems with a vinyl fence install. They resolved most of them, but it took them 3 trips to make it acceptable. The crew left trash laying around and there was dirt and mud everywhere. I was expecting to come home to a new fence and barely know they were there.

Have had my fence now for I believe almost 5 years. It still looks so good. I get compliments on it regularly. It cost me more but my philosophy is why buy something subpar that Im not happy with or that I have to replace sooner? In the long run it was so worth it. Neighbors cheaped out w their fence and they arent happy. Quality and satisfaction is worth it, dont you think? I want the best fence I can afford so it will last a long time.
