We went kids shoe shopping here today for back to school. Let me just start by saying we were not the first ones with the idea for sure. The store was super packed with other parents frantically searching for the right fit for their children. When I say crowded I mean it. Some isles had so many people in them there was a short wait for entrance to it, mainly the mainstream shoe wares . We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted and the styles we were looking for. With three kids to shop for it pays to do youre homework and have sizes ready in mind. Even as busy as the store was we were done shopping and back in the car in 30 minutes. This was in part thanks to a young female clerk who was kind enough to not only answer our questions but went as far as to show us what she though would fit our requests. She even went and measured our youngest daughters foot for fit first. You could tell it was not her first day on the job, and if so, kudos to the carnival shoe trainers! After making our selection the checkout lines were long, 10-15 people each long. It literally took less than 8 minutes for us to reach and complete our transactions . (I know because I couldnt finish an 8 min long YouTube video I was watching as we approached the lines end. ) Fantastic job on efficiency! Well trained staff were helpful and to the point, but not pushy. Great experience! Thanks to all who made it a good day for us!

This place used to feel like walking onto a used car lot, where sleazy salesmen smell blood in the water. Now youre lucky to get a hello when you walk in the door. That sounds like a negative, but its not intended to be... I prefer to find what I want on my own and not be bothered. Friend and helpful staff, should you ask them for help!

They did not have any shoes in the sizes that we needed, so we had to order them There was two check out lanes open, but both were having some issues, and it took a long time to check out. The girl who helped us out was really nice and she did a great job in answering all of our questions. We had a coupon, but it was only if we spent so much money and we were off five dollars, so they would not take it. Next time Ill probably shop around somewhere else before u come here first.

Was the first time Ive ever been to a S.C. superstore!!Was amazing.Was a Friends and Family day and was fairly packed.Associates were plentiful and helpful.I couldnt find my size in a certain pair of sandals and the counter person was able to order n ship correct size to home.Was a very good, calm attitude the entire time we were there. Went in for 1 and bought FOUR pairs!Good thing i only buy footwear about every 5+ years! :)

Went in looking for a specific type of shoe. Staff was very willing to show me exactly what I needed to relieve back pain. I definitely recommend Shoe Carnival. Great selection of shoes. Unbelievable sale items. Quality shoes!

EVERY SINGLE TIME! ALSO, PLEASE BRING BACK YOUR BUY ONE GET ONE HALF OFF EQUAL OR LESSER VALUE SALE DEAL!!! I HEAR MANY CUSTOMERS TALKING ABOUT THIS!!

It use to be the best place to buy shoes. Always had a small deal going and always had a announcer with deals with the wheel. No announcement, no employee to help, heard alot of bickering with the employees. 4 pairs of shoes and NO DEAL!(paid full price) also only one register open and the store was full of customers.I get better service online.

Nice folks working there, ginormous selection of shoes. I had trouble finding exactly what I needed, but to be fair my needs arent exactly orthodox and I did find something that suited my needs well enough. Prices arent heart droppingly terrifying either. Still high; Just not highway robbery high.

I had a aweful experience! Mark was terrible I was asking for help and he completely blew me off to help someone else even though I was waiting longer. Then when I got help he sold me the wrong shoe size even though I told him which one I needed! Worst experience ever I will never come back!

It was not such a good exsperience couldnt get help and had to order my sons shoes and pray they dont get stolen in shipping when I just wanted to pay for and leave with his shoes why do we have no choice but to have them delivered thats not ok

Large store with many selections. However, they did not have a big selection of sizes in each style. My daughter found 5 pairs she liked but there were none in her size and she has an average shoe size.

Needs to Carry a few more brands of shoes but the facility was nice and the staff are helpful, they are always announcing deals and discounts over the intercom.

I have a foot problem that worsened over the last year because of the lockdown. Plantar fasciitis is a fairly common problem and cant wear flat shoes. The lockdown basically eliminated the need for shoes except house shoes. This caused my PF to worsen. I began having severe pain in my legs and couldnt walk. I didnt have any shoes to wear around the house with a heel.So I went to Shoe Carnival (after shopping online at various stores for a suitable house shoe). I told them my problem. They connected me with the woman handling the womens shoe department, and she took me around and pointed out the shoes she thought would help me. She spent at least 45 minutes with me and was just so helpful and nice.There was no rushing or pressuring to buy a certain shoe. She made the suggestions; I tried them and found a pair that have worked perfectly for me. Ive had them just over a week and my leg pain is better and the shoes are so comfy.Not many places have an actual person to help you, and God forbid you must ask someone where something is. How refreshing to ask for help and actually get real help.I give Shoe Carnival 5 stars for great customer service!

When I went to order my size of shoe they dont have my size in the only 4 different colors of the shoe that I cared for. They seemed pretty apathetic about whether or not I got what I wanted, and they lost my business for it.

Found what I wanted and everything is organized well, but the aisle are pretty narrow and dont allow for very good traffic flow, otherwise, top notch. Friendly and polite staff.

Both of my recent visits have not been good..i had returns with a receipt and both managers were super rude and seemed to stereotype me..which wasnt appreciated i felt like i was being treated like a thief as soon as I walked in the door...keep in mind I HAVE 0 CRIMINAL HISTORY SO IT WAS RATHER OFFENSIVE AND AS I MENTIONED I HAD MY RECEIPT ....NEVER AGAIN...

Over priced shoes no value no real customer service when I was in there last time an couldnt find a size 13 wide out of thousands of shoes just not the store for me anymore.

The store always has a wide selection of shoes and boots, usually at good prices. My boyfriend found a pair of shoes he liked pretty quickly, and I found an adorable pair of boots that were on sale. We also benefited from a special promotion going on at the time. The staff was friendly, too. We will definitely be back for future shoe needs.
