Its been a neighborhood liquor store under assorted owners longer than Ive been legal age to purchase..practically a neighborhood landmark! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and seem to know the perfect balance between work and pleasure, never feels like a regular trip to purchases from a store. Customers generally have the same friend of the family attitude toward staff & other customers. Nice selection of alcohols and reasonably priced esp for a local liquor store

Decent selection of wine, beer and spirits. Kinda in a sketchy area of Evansville suburb.

Fair prices and good selection. So why a 3/5? Because three reasons...1. The parking lot is awful. It is so small and just laid out in a bad situation where people cant get in or out easily.2. Homeless people begging for change, people outside begging for a cigarette (even if you dont smoke, like me), people begging for a ride, and just overall people begging for everything.3. I feel like I need to carry a gun when going here. Like, no, dont leave it in the glove box, but tuck it behind you. Man, its sketchy.So yea. Its a good deal if you are prepared to deal with people asking for stuff and ready to draw. Go here! But hey, they are friendly and have good prices for their stuff.

I stop in after work I usually deal with Gene or Gina sry dont remember the exact name. But she is always on it. Fast and to the point. She is always doing her work and helping ppl at the same time. Ive been in when the line is crazy and the manager sits in the back (we can see her as we walk in) and she never gets up to help. G gets us in and out while having a laugh with the customers. By far the best employee there. Plus LL has the best selection of imported beers.

Alright listen here folks, because Im a local to this area and Ill tell you that this is the most convenient liquor store if youre downtown. The daytime staff are cool and they do a good job from what I see. But tonight was St. Patricks Day, and I tried to get a few beers for the fam and all that. The hours clearly say that they are open until 1 AM on Saturday. So you know what this employee of theirs decides to do? Close at 12:50. WOW YOU SAVED 10 MINUTES TO LOSE A CUSTOMER ON YOUR BUSIEST DAY OF BUSINESS. I HATE THAT FAT LAZY CLERK WITH EVERY ATOM OF MY BEING AND I HOPE HE IS TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY FOR HIS CARELESS ATTITUDE AND MISCONDUCT. I HOPE TO HEAR BACK ABOUT THIS BECAUSE YOU SHOULDNT SET HOURS THAT EMPLOYEES DISOBEY.

Alsays seems to be a party going on in the store when I go there. Not a party anyone would wantbto attend. Loud drunks, employees, all hanging in front entrance. The new manager what the hell was she wearing, loud, vulgar mouth. Wont go back, I will get my beer @ CVS from now on. The employees here Wow!!!, not good.
