I called this place after a incident with my drivers side mirror, they requested that I come in and let them look at the vehicle . I went in, they verified everything they needed and gave me a great price for labor and painting my mirror(I purchased from the dealer ) . We arranged installation the next day and they did a GREAT JOB !! I highly recommend them !!!

The Mid America Body Shop at 2323 Main Street in Evanston did a very poor job of bodywork on my car. Mr Basam had said they would do touch up painting on the scratches but instead only did some buffing. Some very light scratches they did not even buff When I took the car back, Mr. Basam said they were not supposed to remove all the scratches. He was quite rude to me and did not even want to hear me out.I Do Not Recommend This Body Shop. Mr Basam can not be trusted. Do not take his word that something will be done and how it will be done.

I had a huge scratch and a dent on the side of my car. They charged me $800.00 to fix it. They did a beautiful job; it looks new. I have used them before and am very pleased.

Fantastic service and quality of work. The brothers were courteous, kind, and accommodating. They installed a new electronic latch on the back door of our Kia for only the cost of the part, no labor. They fixed a dent and scrape on the rear bumper and quarter panel for FAR LESS than the dealership would have charged (far less than what it would have cost had insurance paid for it, too, for that matter). They replaced the right side blinker for free. This was all one visit, and our total cost was very reasonable. Theyre not a big enough outfit to be able to offer a courtesy car, so be aware of that if youre a one-car family and can make alternate plans if your car needs to stay with them a few days. But thats no reason to give them less stars. Id happily go there again. Thanks guys!

I had wonderful experience when I dealt with brothers Sam and his younger brother. First I explained what I want, they listened the details and I right away realize they are very professionals. Gave my car on time. There were hail damages on my car. There were spots which were not so visible but they took care of each and every one. The paint job and body work is excellent.I will always recommend this shop to all my friends as well as my family and since it’s a family own business, they don’t want any bad name for this business. I had run over a large rock that had separated my fender from the bumper.. and with winter coming up, it was just a matter of time before the car wouldve started to rust. I had taken it to 2 other places prior that had quoted me $300-500 more than what this shop had for the same work. After reading some reviews and hearing out how Sam would repair the damage, I was ready to leave the car. Sam was able to complete the repairs in less than 2 days! Not only was the work done right, I was able to be on my way! An honest shop that does the job right. Dont let the plain storefront or the bitter suburban-mom yelp reviews discourage you. Look at the majority of happy customers!

I had body work done here. they offered to do it very cheap the best they said and the best quality Turns out 6 months later my paint is chipping and cracking. I went to them and they said it was my driving and charged nearly double what they did last time. I went to another shop and had it looked at. Turns out they put molding clay all on my car and then painted over it. The clay started to crack and thats why my paint is not chipping. They did a cheap job which turned out costing me a lot in the long run.

I hit a snowdrift which bent the wheel well and made it hard to open and close driver door on a minivan. Stopped in to see Bassam at Mid America, based on a recommendation of another car repair shop in Evanston. Bassam perfectly and quickly fixed my car while I waited.The price was much much less than I expected. BTW, I almost stopped at the next door auto body shop called Sams, -- do not confuse Sams with Mid America (even though Mid America has the brothers Sam and Bassam working there. ---- I highly recommend Mid America.

These guys are great. Quality work; reasonable prices and willing to work with you when insurance is not involved; Sam and Bassam are friendly and professional; and my car was ready when promised. So I needed help with the bottom of my car and got a recommendation for Mid America Body Shop. Sam, his brother, and staff were amazing. Sam is really nice and agreed to fix my problem. These guys are the best!I came in with two flat tires. I had been driving without a spare for too long, and it finally caught up with me when I ran over a nail in the road.They offered a patch or a plug. I didnt know the difference, but they walked me through the decision, and whether I needed new tires. They leveled with me on everything, and didnt try to pressure me into buying unnecessary services or repairs.They did a thorough job of checking out the tires, and getting them repaired.I was able to get in and out of there in less than 20 minutes, and for a very reasonable price.They offer used tires for much cheaper than Ive seen at some of these other places.These are my new go-to guys for tire repairs.

I am fully convinced the 200 reviews on here are fake. Never have I had such a rude person speak to me. Just because I do not speak your native language, or I am part of your community is not a reason for you to be upset or treat me the way you did. I couldnt understand what the workers were saying. I wasn’t being mean or condescending or even raising my voice. All I said was sorry I do not understand what that means can you please repeat that, and the person just went off on me.For some context. I had an insurance estimate and the workers here basically asked me to commit insurance fraud and report I got everything fixed but they would only do part of the work, enough to “cover damages” and told me to keep the rest and pay cash. I was asking them questions on what they would do and how that would affect the safety of my car and total resale value. Needless to say, I did not do shady work or lie to insurance

I was involved in an accident directly across the street, the other body shop came out trying to recruit the business. But, Sam from Mid America, came after the fact. My fender was up against my tire and recommended I dont drive it like that so my tire wouldnt blow. He said to give him a minute, went inside his shop and got a pulley and pulled out mu fender from my tire and left. All this to say, all he said was if I needed anything he was across the street and walked away. Well Ive dealt with lots of people and this was an honest man. Called him over left my car with him, and he did a great job. Did extra things for me and saved me money on other thing. Sam was very honest, delivered on time and dogs a beautiful job. I have a black car, so you would see shabby work. If I ever need anything else, I will be going back to see Sam at Mid America body shop. Which I knew how to post a before and after picture.

These guys really know their stuff, they have wonderful customer service, and they get the job done in a timely manner. They service all of our family vehicles. Recently, I went in for a rear windshield replacement, and they took care of everything and gave me back a fully detailed car. The BEST experience I have ever had with a collision center. They do excellent work and really treat you like you are their family! My SUV is a bit of an oddity in the US (cause it was brought to nation-wide for only two years) and the plastic cladding that was scratched in the accident would have been very expensive to order from the manufacturer. The option of painting the cladding to match the SUVs body color, instead of ordering the stock grey ones, was a magnificent idea. It looks like a completely different vehicle, Ive fallen in love again with my big behemoth SUV with the beautiful paint job they did. Sam did an amazing body repair on my Cadillac, they fixed the body damage (2 panels and frame repair) and blended the paint in perfectly and returned the car in two days. My deductible was very high and they were able to repair below the cost it would have if I had gone through my insurance. Been going to them for many years and I will definitely come back.

People of the world here is an example why auto shops get a bad name. This guy is putting up a front. asking you to sign papers for your car charging you storage for 1 hour, claiming he is sam and point blank do anything for money. he will ask for cash only and then act like he is doing you a favor but using part from junk cars he has in the back but charges you as if it was a new part. I cannot even put into words how disgusting this man is.

I got all my tires slashed one day and not only did Sam decide to help me fix my car but he also helped me get my car towed; i didnt have to call anyone or anything, he took care of everything- towing and fixing my car in a matter of 2 hours. I would definitely recommend getting your car fixed here for any damages. The staff is super friendly and they will make sure you are completely satisfied with everything.

I needed a lot of work done on my 2012 Honda Civic (replace the front bumper, fender, engine protection, and hubcap), and Sam and the entire staff at Mid America went above and beyond my expectations! I was anxious about this issue and had received a few expensive quotes from other shops in Evanston. Sam reassured me and did everything for a few hundred less than the lowest quote. He was above board, walked me through the process for selecting the necessary parts, as well as the original costs for each part. Beyond this, his brother even offered and gave me a ride back to my side of town when I dropped off my car! I picked my car up today (a day early--very fast turnaround!), and it looks better than the day I bought it--stellar paint-matching on the bumper replacement, and he threw in the hubcap for free. This team does high quality work, knows their town well, and does their work efficiently. I recommend them to all my friends!

I just picked up my car from mid America auto body. This thing looks like its brand new. I couldnt believe there were able to match the paint exactly. You cant even tell they did any repairs on my car. Id recommend the shop to anybody that was looking to repair their car. These guys went above and beyond for me. I wish I could give them more stars!Side note- Im amused by the post below that claims he took his 2016 Mercedes in for a brake job. If I had a 2016 Mercedes, Id probably want to take it to the dealer and have them look at it, not a body shop. This guys post is obviously fake. What a joke!

Just picked my Mazda 3 hatchback from Mid America Bodyshop and they did an excellent job. The whole front bumper and hood was gone and it looks way better now then it used to be. Id prefer everyone to go there cause theyre also very affordable and kind people.

I stopped by this shop one day in desperate need of help after calling several auto shops. Not only did they give me the fastest turnaround time, they were also least expensive, and their work was perfect. Months later, I stopped by with another problem and wanted to make an appt. Sam fixed my car, perfectly, within an hour and refused to charge me. Put simply, this is the best auto body shop Ive visited in over a decade.
