I have been in antiques and vintage my entire life as my parents were dealers. This is by far the best shop I have ever been to. I have sold to them, and shop frequently for myself, my home and presents for any occasion. My home has many items that have come from ST. I can also say with first hand experience that they work hard to give back to their community. I posted pictures of some of the many items purchased from ST.

I found this establishment to be a waste of valuable property space in Evanston. I have dealt with a number of antique stores in and around the Evanston area, and I have enjoyed my experiences until dealing with these people. Thinking of buying or selling antique or second-hand items near Evanston? Run far away from this store...you will only find unfair pricing and difficult people.

Always like to stop by and grab something small. Fair prices and very friendly staff. Got candy on Halloween!

For the size of this antique store, which is small, every time I visit I find new items of interest to me. The store managers are very friendly and helpful.

I cannot say enough good things about this store. Truly a hidden gem among other antique stores. I have yet to run across anything thats not affordable (usually for what I purchase things range from 10 cents to 15 dollars), and the quality and service is unmatched. I especially enjoy the focus on kitchenware and home economic goods. Wait times are to be expected nowadays, but that hardly matters to me with all of the treasures one can find on any given day. Will be a loyal customer until Im an antique myself.

I will never go back. You would have thought that you were at Sothebys for the attitude, and in a major museum because the items were so precious they could not be touched.They made me feel like I was going to break anything I touched or picked up, and that I was too poor to afford it anyway. I could have bought the entire shop if it had been worth it. It wasnt. Not a single piece was worth it.The dragon lady was the worst. Shes got issues. She doesnt know how to be gracious and welcoming. And because I was in the store for about seven or eight minutes without purchasing something and was trying to make up my mind, she told me I had to leave because she had other clients coming in. She only had one other person waiting outside. My wait outside was for 20 minutes: I hardly call this fair treatment: but what do you expect from a dragon lady?But the shop mostly has a bunch of old grandma junk in it. Honestly, many of the items that they had would never be used today. And the prices are high. Id rather go to the auction houses.

I went to the store with two purposes: sell some vintage items and purchase some plates I saw in the window. I got my plates while they were looking over my items They didnt want to purchase any items which was totally fine with me.Then the owner starting laughing when she saw I was making a purchase and said so you came in to sell and now youre buying something. Seriously, did she just do that to me? I immediately stopped the transaction. How inappropriate to make fun of me for spending money in her store. Obviously she judged me as only a seller and not a buyer. She needs to learn what good customer service means.How about saying how nice of you buy something even though I didnt buy your items. Think before you speak.

The most pleasing displays and arrangements, good prices, lots of turn over, always new things to look at.

The guys are super nice. But that older woman is not. Shes rude and only engaging to some. Instead of spending $300 on jewlery i decided to spend $40 because customer service is everything to me and i did want at least the crosses for my kids!!I would have spent even more if she werent so rude. I am all about supporting small businesses in my neighborhood but if they dont at least smile i have no problem shopping amazon then.
