The woman at the shop was very sweet. She did follow us around a bit, but I understand; she might be afraid someone will steal from her. Overall, some interesting finds. I personally didnt buy anything there but I can certainly see a collector purchasing some of the available items.

Should be called Another Time, IF WERE OPEN. I NEVER want to hear small businesses complain about online shopping stealing business when they cant even be open for people to shop. Give up the space to businesses that will actually be open for business.

If there is a secret time frame when it’s open, please let me know. Whenever I pass by (weekdays or weekends) it’s always closed.

Had a wonderful experience meeting the owner-Arlene. Turns out shes been in business for 45 years! I didnt have enough time to explore the entire store, so I definitely will be coming back soon~

My wife and I are were being followed and stared at from the very moment we walked into the store. They were very rude. Also, they have a poor selection of antiques.

Ive been trying to shop here for a long time but last time was the fifth time weve gone during business hours with no one there. Sign says call so I called. Rang the doorbell and waited but no. So Im guessing they are permanently closed. Looks like a fun place though. If the owner is reading this just letting you know no one is there to open your store.

Wow, I was born and raised in Evanston, and had never visited the store, though it has been there on Chicago Ave since I was a young woman. I stopped in this past Spring, and fell in love with the store. Not only is it very organized, tidy, and welcoming, the women who work there are truly interested in their buyers. They have layaway, too! :) I am leaving the state soon, but whenever I come to visit, Im going to make a point of stopping in.
