Was very disappointed in this store.... the employees are very helpful but like most high end stores they cater to mostly women... I was expecting to find mens clothing and all they had was a few sweat suits and a couple tee shirts... but the womens section covered most of the store with options galore... I wont every go back.
Came on a Sunday afternoon, I would say at least 3 members of the staff offered to help us. Excellent customer service! Excellent place to shop for athletic apparel and shoes. They also have a treadmill inside you can use to try out the shoes. I also like that they have an old tennis shoe recycle drop.
Ive never been the athletic wear kind of gal but Nike has made me grow such a love for sneakers and all of their wonderful clothes and trinkets. This is truly a one of a kind brand and I absolutely LOVE the store. The clothes are always neatly placed on the racks and they steam iron everything so neatly before they hang them up. Its so easy to make online purchases and exchanges. 2 day shipping on everything. Truly truly a one of a kind brand with awesome stores!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. They even suggested I download the Nike app so I could get a discount coupon for my purchase. Cant give it five stars because the selection left a lot to be desired. They didnt have a lot of clothing to choose from and sizes in stock were very limited
Very limited selection but friendly staff and my son found what he liked so it worked out. Believe its a small university store.
There dismissive arrogant and upselling, with terrible customer service and its enough that it almost turns me off of being a Nike fan.I had sales associate flat lie to me.They make great products but I wouldnt recommend going to the store ever
So I went in to get my husband a pair of shoes for his birthday. So air force ones I Guess they running a little bigger then other Nikes so less than 2 hours later I was bringing them back. They didnt have the next two sizes down so we picked another pair of air force ones same price just a different style. The part that bothers me is I used a coupon for some percentage off on the pair I originally bought 2 hours. So I dont understand why they could reapply that % off since it was basically an exchange of something of equal value made so sense to me. And kinda made me mad.
There is no kids section and barely any shoes. If they wanted a fancy looking store for tourists with barely anything in it they should have left the actual Nike shoe store in Oakway center for the people looking to buy Nike shoes. Extremely disappointed, the hoopla and excitement was very much over rated and a waste of time. It’s pretty but pointless.
Waited here for 15 min at the counter to pick up and online order. There were no customers in the store but me, they had one person wandering around the floor, there were another 4 employees in the back. After 15 min of wait and another 25 minutes of them correcting a mistake, I was finally on my way.
Amazing store, my first visit, cant wait to get and shop again. Very nice and helpful staff, got me and out quickly and had exactly what I wanted.
Love the new vending machine and glad they showed us how it works. Let us finish showing as the store closed which was a nice bonus and appreciated. Very attentive staff
In a nice location, unfortunately not a lot of options.
Staff was very nice and helpful but I went into there trying to find just some basic sneakers that were relatively cheap but they couldnt even find a shoe that was under $100. Very disappointing
Love the smaller size & running focus of “Nike by Eugene” - lots of help w sizes & styles from their smart, friendly team
Disappointing service, nobody cared and offered helpful info when I was looking for running shoes. It was more like: Here are three different types, try them on, pay, leave. Expect more service, friendliness and polite staff when spending that much money on a shoe.Decided to check RunHub Eugene afterwards which turned out to be a much better place to shop shoes, very friendly and they were analysing my running profile, too.
Nice, clean place, friendly employees. Didnt have the exact size but half inch bigger was good.
Friendly staff and great Nike experience !!
Some of the staff is great but most are very rude.
Clerk was very helpful in finding the product I was looking for as a gift.Super cute too lol
Love the new store need to keep up on in store sizes
Gotta check it out neat setup good quality could use a broader shoe selection
Horrible customer service! I went to this store with my cousin and she explained to me that her first experience coming here, a worker told her, “are you sure you want to buy those?”. So I decided to go with her to purchase a pair of shoes to see how they would treat her. We waited several minutes for anyone to ask if we needed assistance, even though there was several workers standing in front of us doing nothing but talking to each other. We saw other customers being attended except for us. I had to catch the attention of a worker to get assistance. Poor customer service and attitude. Do not recommend coming here!
Awesome new store but lacks inventory on everything...
Good store has SNKRS drops.
Under Construction, no notice on the website, or the building, just a crew of people inside, who, when politely asked if the store was open, rudely exclaimed NO!!! A sign on the building, or a post on the website wouldve been wonderful so I didnt waste my time driving all the way over here from Medford, OR!
Love the friendly atmosphere
Very limited selection considering location.
Great nike store
Shoes? They gottem alright
I went in trying to find a good running shoe because I have been getting shin splints lately. Ivan was SO helpful and friendly and helped me decided on the Epic React. Thank you to the knowledgeable Nike Eugene staff and especially Ivan!
Super helpful even if they dont have shoes I want in stock. Ordered in store some shoes they had for sale online. Fast shipping and always great answering questions!
Danny is amazing, took the time to help my 9 year old daughter pick out a pair of shoes. Thanks Danny, and he also has a wonderful family.
Great service and the staff is knowledgeable and can help you find the right shoes for your needs!
Literally no men’s clothes at 5th street
Store type small but it’s Nike!
Best service at any store I’ve been to. Very kind and right there to assist you. I highly recommend them.
Great customer service but small selection!!
Horrible service. I was in town to run the Eugene Marathon and was checking out running stores for some new gear to take back home to Wisconsin. Run Hub NW has the best staff. They were a diverse group in age and experience, but all with the common bond of running. So kind and so knowledgeable. Made me feel welcome. Eugene Running Co staff were fun and exited for everyone running this last weekend. So inspiring. It was obvious that they were engaged with runners and selling running gear was just a bonus.Nike Running Eugene. Childish staff. No one actually cared about the weekend of races and fun. No one offered knowledge of products. I don’t understand what this store is about. It’s more like a souvenir shop for spoiled, white college kids. Major disappointment.
My daughter and I went in the other day. No help. No acknowledgment. Two young boys(employees) talking about girls. One girl(employee) on her phone. Not a cell phone they use to check out customers. Her cell phone. No one asked if I was training for anything, or if I was a runner, what I currently run in, if I wanted to try something on, etc. Just buy a shoe and stop disturbing their conversations.Needless to say, we left and went to Eugene Running Company where the staff was knowledgeable, had me on different shoes and even entertained my daughter. No dirty looks just because she was touching the mannequins outfit.Nike Running Eugene is a joke. Uncle Phil should shut it down or start with a whole new staff.
Friendly attentive staff. Amazing shoe and apparel selection. My wife tried on 4 different shoes until she found the right pair for herself ($180). However the best shoes in the world also command a hefty price tag so be warned.
I’m in my mid 50’s. I’ve been running since the mid 80’s. Today I was treated like I was nothing more then an old woman. The staff of this store are all very young, which others have pointed out on here. I understand that Nike is trying to stay “fresh” and “hip”, but perhaps they should focus more on staffing this running store with runners. Or at least a staff that understands and cares about runners. It IS a RUNNING store.I didn’t buy anything. I walked over to Eugene Running Co where I was treated like a runner/human being rather than an old lady. I won’t be going back and I’ll advise all of my running friends to stay away, also.
As a high level high school runner and future collegiate athlete, Im very particular about my shoes. Unfortunately my feet have a full size difference between the left and right. Ive never been able to buy shoes of two different sizes. The people at Nike Eugene were more than happy to hook me up with two different sizes. And not only that, they have full knowledge and understanding of everything in the store. Definitely a great experience.
Horrible customer service. This store is full of children who have no idea what they’re talking about. My daughter works for NIKE HQ and brought to Eugene to take a tour of where it all began. Before running Pre’s Trail, she wanted to treat me to a new pair of shoes. Two young men helped us and they had no clue what they were talking about. Neither of them even run. What’s going on NIKE? Why is your running store filled with very young adults who don’t care about the product or their consumers. My daughter was so embarrassed. Sorry Nike Running Eugene, but you need to find some qualified and passionate employees.
Definitely expected more. Overall not too bad.
This Nike retail door is equipped with the most up to date product that satisfies a great spectrum of athletic demands. The customer service is unmatched. The staff not only provides great recommendations, but also provide useful innovation to athletes of all capacities.
Its like footlocker. But more expensive
What an embarrassment for Nike.I have yet to have a pleasant shopping experience here. I’m an ultramarathon runner and wanted to splurge on a new outfit and shoes for my birthday. Unfortunately, I left empty handed.Staff is just a bunch of rude kids. It took almost 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. The kid who attempted to help me knew nothing about the fabrics in the apparel, but even worse, he knew NOTHING about the shoes(drop, weight, fabrics, cushioning, etc).No one on this staff is engaging. They don’t ask how you are. They don’t ask about you’re running schedule, races, training, etc. They are worthless.Plus, a young lady(late teens/early 20’s) came in while I was shopping and all the male employees went right to her and started discussing music, concerts and new shoes coming out that she should buy this summer. And there I was, sitting by the shoe wall with shoes in hand and no one to help me.If “Uncle Phil” were to walk into the store, I’m sure he’s have no time firing them all and start fresh with employees who actually care about their consumers and helping runners.Save your money and walk across the parking lot to Eugene Running Company.
The staff were engaged and helpful. Found what we needed. They took the time to make sure it was a good fit. Thank you, Tanner and Gavin!!
I expected nothing less. Staff was friendly and well informed of product.
Great service. Good selection of metcons
This town might be where it all started, but this store is making sure it’s where it all ends.Staff is a bunch of bratty 20-somethings with no true interest in helping runners. If you’re in your 20’s, in-shape, and can talk about the latest trends with a staff of douchebags and stuck-up girls, then you’ll love this place!! If you’re a runner, get ready for a clueless staff unless they’re talking about themselves.
Nike, as a brand, sells quality merchandise. But avoid this store at all costs. It is legitimately the worst Nike experience Ive ever had. The fact that someone entrusted these individuals to represent Nikes brand is probably the result of being a small town. In a big city, where talent pools are deeper, these individuals would never sniff a management position.
For the fans of Nike, this is the Ultimate place to shop! The staff are warm, welcoming and professional. Will return soon!
DisappointedMy son is a 16 year old that wear a size 15 shoe. You would think being in a college town that this store would offer larger sizes. Nope. Was told that I would have to order online for anything above a 13. Wont go back.
Great selection of nikes and excellent customer service.
If you enjoy nike products and are a runner or person who works out this store will most likely have what you are looking for. The people are helpful here and knowledgeable about their products.
Staff was rude, not very knowledgeable about products(drops, materials, cushioning, weight, etc). This store was a major disappointment. I’ve been to NIKE Running stores throughout the country, but all in major cities. This store is definitely not the same. It may have the same products and same typical layout, but the vibe is off. The staff were all so off-putting. I never once felt welcome while I was there. None of them asked anything about what I was looking for or anything about myself(I’m a marathon runner who has run 54 races). I’m glad I walked out and went over to Eugene Running Company. Nike should really consider shutting this location down or start with a whole new staff who actually care about runners and their needs.
New store
Very little selection of gear but offers quality nonetheless.
This store was a major disappointment. I only gave 2 stars because I’m loyal to the brand as a long disctance runner. The staff made me feel invisible and worthless. I’ve been in Nike Running shoes since the 80’s. I went to this store, specifically, because it is the town where Nike originated. Unfortunately, I was ignored by a blonde female staff and 2 males on staff. No one helped me at the shoe wall until I waved for assistance. I wanted to learn about some of the newest technology and have someone help me figure out what might be the best shoe for me. I got nothing. I was told by one of the boys to just run on their treadmill to figure it out.Phil Knight, you need to come check up on your hometown business.
My husabad and I are our in mid fifties, in the middle of our weekend, we took a break from yard work and ran some errands, we did not get dressed up to go get a pair of shoes. We were greeted by a friendly young man and headed to the back of the store to look at shoes, three female employees stood like they would ask us if we needed help, they never even acknowledged us. While we looked and waited for help, we did notice that the three females were talking with a couple of young nice looking guys. Another female employee comes from the back and I attempt to get her attention she blows on by, we were invisible as she headed to group in the middle of the store. The same male that greeted us finally came along and was helpful and polite. I felt like the females thought they might be at a club and were trying to get lucky.
If I could give this store Zero stars, I would.Visiting from NYC to come run some amazing trails, visit Pre’s Rock, etc.Stopped in this store to pick up a fresh pair of Kigers. No one helped me. No one. I saw at least 4 kids on staff.I walked out without being helped and didn’t make a purchase. Is this what Nike has become?
Well staffed and super clean store. However there is a better selection of Nike gear at most sporting goods stores. Not much to pick from for a Nike brand store.
No women’s shirts!! Just women’s tank tops. Men shirts are available. Overpriced!
Got good stuff. Just limited to running only.
This place sucks. If you’re a serious runner/athlete, stay away! The kids that work here are clueless and/or self absorbed. The guy helping me only talked about himself. It almost felt like I was ther to buy HIM a pair of new running shoes. I won’t be back and I refused to spend my hard earned money in any establishment where I’m treated as less than.
Nike has been my go to brand and Ive had no issues. I recently ran into a defective item. Unfortunately they dont stand behind a loyal customer that brings in a clearly defective item. Instead of making things right they low balled a refund offer for less then a 1/3 of what I paid for it.
A little pricey compared to the Niki store in Woodburn, OR but they had good customer service.
Get the app its pretty slick.
I’d give it ZERO stars if I could.1. No one welcomed me into the store.2. Two workers by the shoe wall laughing and disrespectfully chatting about girls until I walked up to the show wall.3. Ashley, blonde girl, rolled her eyes at me when I walked by. Perhaps it’s because my face was in shock that NIKE would allow someone to come to work looking like they just rolled out of someone else’s bed.4. One worker walked away from me after telling what HE likes to run in.5. Other worker had no clue about running OR shoes.THIS STORE SUCKS.
Rather spendy
This store is ridiculous. From what I could tell, the store is run by large children. No one helped me or my son. We waved to a couple of employees, they ignored us. I made sure to get a nametag... Ashley. Blonde girl. Acted like she was too busy folding clothes to help my son find some new running shoes. It’s his first year of Track and Field. He asked me on the ride home if all Nike people are that mean. It was a major disappointment for him.We went to RunHub. They don’t sell Nike, but my son and I were so put off by rude employees, he didn’t mind buying a pair of Brooks.
Basically no variety of shoes or sizes.
Great service and decent selection
Seemed like the selection was small compared to other Nike stores weve been to. Maybe Colin Kaepernick protested all their goods so it made the selection small??
As a veteran and someone who was in and still supports law enforcement, I will never have anything to do with your company! Shopping at this store has already been a negative experience!Kaepernick doesnt care about speaking out for the good. Hes too ignorant to know how to make a difference for the well being of others, not to mention COMPLETELY narcissistic. You want lessons on making a difference, then read up on Kennedy. Kaepernick is what scum feeds off of. Anyone who feels hes great, is a complete moron. Kennedy was great.Of all the people in the world and you chose garbage! Nike USED to be a great icon......you are no more! As if you couldt find a better person to represent your 30th???? WOW!!! Nice Phil Knight!
Not many options, max price
They have like four different shoes lol
They were so helpful!
The selection is pretty small for it being next to the university of Oregon the epicenter of Nike. However, the items they did have were the latest fashions.
Small volume, no restrooms, dont feel appreciated as a customer like at other nike locations
Store is always kept at 100% and the staff is filled with information on their products.
Drove through town and had to stop at the Nike where it all began. Now I don’t ever want to return. These employees were rude and phony. No one knew much about the products/shoes, except for telling me all about themselves and what they run in.Sorry, Nike, but you blew when you allowed these children to represent the brand.
Great shoes. Prices to high
Friendly staff. looking forward to the new store opening downtown
Great service, but wish they had other Nike stuff than running. I get it, but people cross-train in Eugene too, right?
Great shoes and good service.
This store is exactly whats wrong with our society!!!
Walked in and asked about the store. The lady was rude and told my 5 year old daughter to not touch a display shoe.
Very helpful..
Nikes running store in Eugene. Very knowledgeable staff and good selection.
Website does not work. Bad sign.
Very nice, friendly and knowledgeable
