GOOD PRICES. In this economy I needed something at a good price. The employees were polite & professional. I had a return that was very easy too. Ill likely go back soon.

Ive been shopping at this store for 25 years. It was once bustling and bright. Now its just a bit dimmer and not so busy. Some of the shelves arent well stocked. Once I looked through the shoe department and it looked like a hurricane had been through there. I was able to pick up a nice pair of silver slacks from the Michael Strahan Collection at a very decent price. I understand the economy is what it is, I guess I would just like a better selection in such a huge, well regarded department store such as JC Penney. I see that there is still plenty of University of Oregon gear, and rightfully so.

Very clean and organized. Everyone was helpful. But the selection was horrible and dated. The selection for plus size women was pretty much the same outfit over and again only changing the print or patterns. Nothing to accommodate petite bodies and no luck if you dont want a high waist.

A lot of stuff in this store is really cute, but also can be a little expensive. I bought the most adorable sweater there today that was originally 80 dollars (it was on sale for 56, though), and it was one of the cheaper items I saw. If you have the budget though, its great.The employees are super amazing. One of them (I didnt see his name, but I wish I did. He has really dark hair and was pretty pale, though) helped me and my friends with finding the right size of sweater and it was a whole ordeal. He was honestly probably the nicest worker at the mall or really in any store ever. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. Youre literally the nicest person ever and I hope you have the most amazing life ever. You made my year.

The place was immaculate the people working there were amazing. A guy named Tomas was so helpful so respectful and made me feel so welcome In your store. Id you dont give that man a raise I personally will come in and hire him at my chain of stores thank you.

JC Penny is still a nice store and this location has some excellent merchandise. Its clean and has trendy womens clothing, a good shoe selection, and a Sephora. Sale prices are awesome.

My husband always finds the perfect clothes for work, casual or evening wear. The prices are just right!

Nice service, but didnt have what we wanted. Bath Contour & lids rugs are no longer being carries in store or on line in color we wanted. We been buying our towels & Rugs for all three houses we have owned last 48 years from JCP. Just sad that quality & choices of common items has been minimized.

For back to school shopping... Wasnt much for fall cloths for little girls had to go hunting in boys for long sleeves/warmer shirts. Took me forever just to find her pants. Upper registers not open and trying to find sizes was hard as a lot of things where mixed on the wrong hangers- not even in the clearance which was even worse. Then at check out the casher stopped scanning and said she could not scan anymore items- a purchase limit max at jcpennies apparently is 50. 🙄 Hard enough to shop for my other daughter 3 weeks after a c section- digging for and carrying cloths downstairs with a new born strapped to me but then to be told there was a limit? I was damn near ready to walk out and now have another trip I have to make for pjs. Clearly jcpenny didnt want my hard earned money.

I was able to find what I was wanting after going to a couple of other stores so happy Pennys came through for me as always.

Difficult to find someone to help you. Placed order JCP.Com for store pickup and one item wasnt in the box. Note inside said will ship separately but never received. Couldnt get help in store or from customer service. Wont order from JCP.com again. No accountability.

I pick up items curbside. They are always pleasant and courteous. I recently had to return some items, and they were friendly, helpful, and I had no problem.

Bought blanket for a Christmas gift. Great price and quality. The store was pleasant to be in. It had been years since I had shopped here. I will come back to have a look. Employees were pleasant. The store was clean and the atmosphere pleasant. Ill update review as needed.

All of the prices were wrong, they still wouldn’t honor them even after we took pictures of the items. Wouldn’t go back if it takes that much effort to not be ripped off.

I must admit my caregiver and I were flustered. We passed several employees on the 2nd floor in groups chatting away. We needed help. Not one offered any assistance. Being Im a low vision person using a long stick (white cane with red tip) Im use to being ignored by store personal when needed assistance. Because of the chaos of covid and high turn around often caregivers are new and not use to this treatment of being ignored.Usually I keep my shopping only to my neighborhood but because I had exhausted stores in my neighborhood for the color towels I needed for that bathroom I had to search elsewhere and because it is very seldom that (even without covid) to be able to go anywhere out of neighborhood. (I had waited 7 months to do this shopping trip) So, this was a special day. After a hour a wonderful sales gal who we found out has a family disabled members stepped forward in towels and helped us. Just as we were getting ready to say forget it, this isnt worth it and leave the store.I wish we would have gotten her name! She helped us get what I needed! Then finding a cashier station open was another chore and a 1/2 hour long line wait. We made it back to my house with 2 minutes to spare but by the time she finished her paperwork she worked 15 minutes free. Thank You to the lovely floor sales lady who finally helped because she understood that people with disabilities need assistance not ignored by sales staff.

They have a sale on Levis so I bought two pairs. Nice pleasant place to go. Thanks guys.

We had a good experience here, shopping was easy, the selection was good, only issue is the way they are running the dressing room. The lady was very kind but she really needs to relax a bit on being the dressing room police. She literally blocks each customer inside with a cart. Its a bit extra if you ask me.

They have good stuff but last time I went in it was all way overpriced for what it was. Used to be one of my favorite stores but its gone down hill lately.

The Penneys of youth. Cousin had to buy school clothes, I spent all of my time walking around looking for them!

My sister and I got a haircut at the salon. She did a nice job. She listened to what I wanted and checked in with me several times as she went along. I will go back. You need to call ahead to make an appointment. Tell them exactly which services you want.

JCPenney used to be downtown Eugene long before VRC was built. Consistantly great selection & decently priced items. Love it then & love it now. I used to go to the Salon there for many years, back when I used to style my hair! Hopefully they will survive the killing off of brick & mortar establishments.

There is always an employee nearby to talk to, but they do not actively engage you on a regular basis. Their service quality is sporadic, but its impeccable when you are able to get someone helpful. Their clearance sections are oftentimes still marked up pretty high, but there are good deals if youre willing to spend the time searching.

Very helpful, friendly and handled my wrong shipment and replaced it with the correct item. I was very happy.

I love when they have a sale on clothes in my size. But I was a little upset bc I had alot of clothes I needed to try on. And I was upstairs. I was very disappointed finding all dressing rms all closed. So I just found a quite corner and tried my clothes on. My Sis and I were the only ones upstairs. 15mins to try on all clothes. I never moved that fast. Thanku!

They say they are having any type of sale. And the items that are on sale are almost the same price. They truly dont have SALESGo to Macys instead.

Here is the trouble with jcp. It is my opinion that they tried, quite unsuccessfully, to draw in the teen market. All the while 2/3 of the population is size 14 and up, which they promptly hid in the backside of the upper floor. And..a lot of what they have in + size is made of polyester. Hello? Phat women do not like to wear polyester for obvious reasons. Jcp should take a look at torrid. The buyers need to be different ages in the plus department so that diff generations are represented. As in, i do not want to wear half shirts and short mom shorts but young + size might.

Was looking for new shirts for my spouse. Found perfectly acceptable choices, but the pricing was weird. I picked 2 shirts off a table priced BOGO free. But they did not ring up that way. So the cashier needed a manager to do a price override. Took forever for the manager to show up. The poor cashier was so embarrassed!

I ordered some shoes for my husband and son on March 4th and they were to be delivered to the store with a March 11-15 pickup date. I tracked the shoes on March 11th and saw they were delivered to the store. I was at Valley River on March 12th so I went by to see if they were available for pickup, they werent unpackaged yet but they would be by March 15th, I was told. I called March 16th to see if they were ready and they werent but the lady told me shed put a rush and theyd be ready March 16th, wait for the email to let me know theyre ready. I never received an email, I called customer service on the 17th and they said just keep waiting because weve had shipping delays. They were already delivered and only need to be unpackaged! I went in on March 19th to see if maybe they were ready, nope they havent been unpackaged yet. Whoever is in charge of this task should be redirected to another task.We still dont have the order and its March 20th.Update:Ive contacted customer service by email and they just told me to continue to wait for the email letting me know my order is ready, so that was no help. Terrible customer service. I dont recommend having your order shipped to JCPENNEY for pick up. Its March 22nd, it shouldnt take 11 days to unpack a delivery and contact the customer to come get their order.

I forgot how great JC Penneys is!! We used to shop here years ago when our kids were little!! Originally I stopped here to buy these cool burgundy combat boots.. they didnt have my.size in the store, but I found a pair and had them shipped to the store!! Pennys offers alot of coupons and alot of deals.tbe clearance racks have some ama,amazing, deals and I think the quality of the clothing is really good too!! People that work there are helpful and very kind!! Thank you Penneys Ive shopped there 6 times in the last month!! Got everything I needed!!

The announced the closure of JC Pennies at 8:45, promptly locked the doors and refused to help us. We had to be let out by a manager who seemed put out that we were in her store 10 min before closing. Who closes at 9 on a Saturday?! Save some time and shop online.

Jcpenny, one of the last department store we have left in eugene! Seems like everytime I go there for something like rain gear 🌧 (during the rain season or ouse slippers in the winter), they are putting out summer items. Must need to plan ahead when shopping here 🛍.The store is always clean but good luck finding an employee that can help you.

Jeremy, in the jewlery department was so helpful, kind and patient with us while we figured out a warranty return and replacement. Although jc penny couldnt fix my ring because it was too worn (which seems to contradict a life time warranty) but at least they offered to replace it. But they dont make my ring anymore so its frustrating but at least we had nice help and not a rude associate helping us out which is the only reason im giving 5 stars. Thanks Jeremy!

Their prices are ridiculous, especially when compared with everyone else in the mall. Even the clearance is usually outrageous. Pennys (and Macys) is pretty much a last resort.

I absolutely hate shopping, this has nothing to do with pennys. They have a great selection of mens clothing an accessories. But everytime I go to a retail clothing store I feel my soul dying and walk out a mindless zombie. Lol

So, JC Penny. Its a mall store where you can buy clothes. Some of them have other things like irons and sofas and clocks. But mostly clothes.So you shop. And you pick your things. And then, its time to check out. If only you could find someone at a checkstand, eh? Yeah. Good luck with that.

This is a clean and well stocked store. The customer service associates are professional and friendly. My only complaint is that they do not sort their clearance section in any discernable way, so you have to look through the entire section to find items that might be in your size. I gave up and so did many others while I was there.
