My first trip and the young girl was super great!! I usually order vanilla soy latte with soy milk.. I had a oat milk vanilla latte, and it was excellent.

I’m not usually the one to write many reviews, but I just had the most pleasant experience at this establishment, I just had to let it be known! First of all, my barista, Chloe, was such a dream! I’m not a huge coffee nut so I had a couple questions about the menu, and can I just say, Chloe was so attentive and informative, it was extremely refreshing. Definitely our go-to caffeine suppliers now (LOL). Be prepared to receive excellent coffee and stellar customer service!

I love better buzz. But their drive thru is so very slow. I sat at the window for five minutes watching everyone just walking around not doing much of anything. I was waiting for toast. Better buzz, be better with the drive thru service. We will love you more for it!

First and foremost, this coffee is not worth the time and aggravation it takes to place and pick up your order. I was hoping to save time by placing a mobile order, and I still had to wait over 20 minutes for my iced coffee...which tasted like it was burnt and watered down. If I could give zero stars I would. Youre better off going to 7 11 if you want low grade coffee.

If you are too busy you should know how to handle your business. 25 mins of waiting and my order got misplaced. People who ordered after me got there orders and I was still waiting, and when I asked them, they gave a cup of coffee that was sitting there for more 15 min in fact I ordered 2 hot drinks. Please grow your business and be more efficient.

Service was extremely slow if going inside. They pay more attention to the drive-ups than the walk-ins... Well that is what happened on Aug 20 at 630am anyway. It took almost 15 minutes to get a drip coffee and a latte. Coffee was good. But they have no decaf drip other than charging you extra for an Americano. Dont think I will be back.

The online orders are consistently completed 10-15 minutes after the estimated time. They are creating a nuisance in the parking lot causing traffic. Go faster or get the hell out of town. I demand it.

I was hesitant based on previous reviews about being slow. But I found them to be faster than Starbucks. 6 cars in line and I was out in 8min.. Got the white mocha and then ham cheese croissant. Both flavorful, hot and filling! The coffee was good and not just sugary flavored syrup! Oh and they didnt push for tips! Just a jar on windows edge!

We ordered an iced vanilla latte and fruity iced tea. Both were pretty good, but the latte was a little on the sweet side. The service wasnt great (cashier seemed annoyed when I was asking questions) and they forgot my tea (I had to ask for it after waiting 10 minutes - considering its premade and they just add ice, I wasnt too thrilled). Biggest downside is the price - almost $6 for a latte. Hoping the service will get better after they get through the craziness of just opening. If youre looking for an alternative to Starbucks, this is a great option.

Coffee is good, but I find it odd that that after paying approximately $15.00 for coffee and cookies and having to clean the outdoor table myself, they would not share the code for the restroom. I spent $1.50 at the establishment next door to use their restroom. They gladly shared their code. Just odd.....you are selling a beverage that is a diuretic! There’s no health or safety mandate requiring you to keep your bathroom closed. How about considering the comfort of your patrons?

Loved this coffee shop. Also quite sad that it is only in San Diego. Bought their special espresso blend to take home. You can feel the difference of their coffee!

Please do not advertise “purist” or “traditional” if you cannot make a simple caffè macchiato.No, I do not want two “shots” of brown tasteless water with a litter or milk and barely any foam!Macchiato means stained...Caffè macchiato is just a regular caffè (espresso) and a bit of foam; creamy milk.Simple.I had to throw away the first one, asked them to change it, the cashier sighed, and they gave me an americano with foam.Uncalled for!

Really love the hazelnut divinity latte! We ordered inside and waited for our drinks. Masks required. The employees are very friendly. The coffee shop offers bagels, pastries and healthy option avocado toast, which is delicious!

My favorite go to place. Long drive thrus. I always go inside to store to order. Small dining area. Orders may take time because of the drive thrus.

One of my favorite Better Buzz locations! Staff is always super friendly, and the drinks are always made correctly & with skill. Ive never had a negative experience in store or in the drive thru. The line can be a but long sometimes, but that just shows the quality! Ive turned all my friends on to the mocha buzz, now we get some almost every day.

If I could give the manger and store zero stars I would! Completely messed up our drive thru order then made us wait for the drink that they forgot. 10 mins later we went into the store and our missing drink was sitting on the counter. But what really topped all of this is my vegan family member ordered an impossible breakfast sandwich to be handed a sandwich with the Description “bacon only” written on the lid! I mean come on! $53 dollars later and two trips back to be told by the Store manager Susanna that it was my son‘s fault he didn’t order the right thing! Shoulda went to Denny’s and got pancakes!!! Better buzz should work on better business standards!

This place is great! Theres always a line right now but it moves fast and its totally worth it. Their avocado toast and acai bowls are great if you want food. Their best drink ever is great! Delicious!

Every single time I use their drive thru it’s a 20-30+ minute wait. And I don’t mean jumping in an already long line, I’m talking only 1-2 cars ahead. You’d think it’d be a 5-10 minute thing, but time after time I am disappointed. I can’t believe how slow this location is

Better Buzz Blows. I ordered 2 large lavender lattes with skim milk. For my wife and daughter. What i got was lavender tea.

No other drive through has EVER asked me to put on a mask in my own car, with plenty of space and fresh air between me and anyone else; I have been through Starbucks, Coffee Bean, many fast food restaurants, and even pharmacy drive throughs without a mask with absolutely no issues. But Better Buss is sick with crazy tyranny and they are incredibly rude about it. Ordered and paid with NO mask with the employee standing outside but they refused to give me my food at the window unless my face was covered.

Their coffee is so much better than Starbucks! Had a vanilla latte and blueberry muffin. Both were delicious!

Love the store. Super friendly staff. I went in and ordered. Unfortunately I had to wait 30 minutes for my drink because it got misplaced in drive thru. Super tasty beverage! Would come again but might just do drive thru. They seem really busy and like drive thru was a bigger priority.

I love this place. Well worth the wait. I usually get the Chai buzz dirty and this location makes it the best! They did forget to put the chai powder on top today but did offer it to me on the side. I also had the avocado toast for the first time today OMG this is GOOD! Keep up the good work!

I waited 25 minutes for an açaí bowl. It was good but I was disappointed that it took so long. A lot of other customers were frustrated that the food was taking so long. The drinks come out within 5 minutes of ordering so by the time you get your food, your iced coffee is watered down from the ice and your hot coffee will be cold. The best drink ever is not that good if you’re looking for a vanilla-y drink. The iced vanilla latte is way better in my opinion. The better buzz in san marcos across from bowlero is way better and they had 2 lattes and 2 açaí bowls ready within 5-10 minutes and the employees were super nice.

Been here several times while shopping at Trader Joes. Love their lavender black tea lattes.

Half the time the drink will be good, the other half it will not. This location is not consistent with their quality. The drive thru takes a really long time even if there’s only a few cars ahead of you.

Location feels a bit odd but good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Great coffee but expensive, I only go here occasionally for a treat because of the prices.

I love that we have a Better Buzz in Escondido! Now I dont have to wait for my next trip to fashion valley 😁 the service is always really great here and they are puppy friendly which is a plus for me 🐶My favorite drinks are the iced hazelnut divinity or the iced Moroccan spiced latte and they are always made to perfection🧡 the drinks here do come a little sweet so if you are like me and want to taste the coffee a little more or just want less sugar you can always ask them for make it 1/2,1/3, 1/4 sweet. Lastly the food is also really great 🥪 all the sandwiches are very tasty and the avocado toast is oh soooo good!The only downer I can say about this place is that because everything is soo yummy the lines are pretty long. I would totally recommend you order online ahead of time if youre in a rush.Thanks for coming to Escondido Better Buzz 🧡

The barista recommended that I try their specialty drink called The Best Coffee Ever and maaaan it was one of the BEST coffees Ive had.. and the Orange Cranberry Muffin was to die for..I.will definitely be back when Im in town

I started writing this post as I sat in my car waiting for the two açaí bowls I ordered. Went through the drive thru on a fairly light day. With about 5 cars ahead of me I thought it’d be a fairly easy wait. Never has this been the case at this location. After pulling up to the winder after 15 minutes of placing my order and leaving a generous tip, I was asked to pull around and wait in front of the store. 15 full minutes later I received my two bowls with just an apology. I’m trying to shop local and support smaller businesses but come on people... let’s get your act together and make it a business we want to come back to! I’m done with this location and happy to give my money to other businesses that make the effort!

The specialty coffee is delicious here. I ordered a peppermint mocha and snickerdoodle mocha and they were perfect in taste and aroma without the over powering of the flavors or sweetness. Every sip was consistent in richness. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend to skip the long drive thru line and place an order in person it’s quicker and such a nice coffee shop.

A very live and vibrant atmosphere, the serves did a great job, perfect if you looking for that sweeter cup of coffee! Only downside is the music was a little loud and it made it hard to hear the server while ordering!

I love better buzz and I am so glad that finally there is something good in Escondido. However I am continuously blown away by how long it takes to get an order. When I order ahead, it takes 30-40min! When I order in person, depending on the line, it usually takes at least 15-20 min which compared to Starbucks is a far cry for speed.

Such a great place! They were so helpful and have the best coffee flavors! Of course theres some honey sweet options too 🙂

This is a great!, much more local coffee and tea shop with a drive thru. The only thing you have to know is the online ordering on betterbuzzcoffee.com is how to pre order. I just wish the link to ordering was right at top so when in line or in car it is easier to get to from phone. Make sure you let them know you are in line or picking up.

Very disappointing. I only went because my Starbucks was closed. Spent 34 minutes in the drive through and got a highly priced drink that was made incorrectly. I also didnt appreciate having the tip screen shoved in my face asking if I wanted to tip before I even got the drink. I wont be back.

Visited this location for the first time today, and was very disappointed. Service was not great, cashier did not seem happy to be working there. My Best Drink Ever did not live up to its name. It was flavorless, no coffee taste or sweetness. I also got a pistachio croissant. Hopefully that is as delicious as it is at other locations, but I wont try until later. I will not be back to this location. I have been to 3 other locations regularly, and this one does not live up to the others.

Best service and best white chocolate peppermint mocha ever!

Worst service I’ve ever experienced. We placed an order for pickup and waited in the parking lot for over an hour. My wife and I didn’t mind waiting; however, when I followed up about our order, an employee told me that they ran out of gluten-free bread. We drove from Temecula exclusively for a gluten-free sandwich. Why it took them an hour to notify us is beyond me. Not to mention our coffees tasted horrible. It seemed like they ran back and rushed because they completely forgot about our order. We ended up driving all the way to the Better Buzz in Point Loma after.
