Brought my Mini 2007 R56 in for repair. Wasnt sure about it because my car is so old. But they did the job in record time, got rid of warning light that my local mechanics couldnt solve. Was pricey, but expected and really not that much more nowadays than non dealer options. Service was great, people there are very nice and know what they are doing. Recommended if you have a mini Cooper of any year.

My battery died around 1:00 PM, as I was driving toward Escondido. I called ahead and Mini of Escondido immediately took the car in, installed a new battery, snd washed the car. Fantastic service!

I had a new factory-ordered key programmed to work remotely with my 2004 Mini Cooper (R50) I had purchased used just recently. The service garage was clean and the service representatives were prompt, attentive, and friendly. Mini of Escondido had better availability for scheduling the service than Mini of San Diego did too!

Staff were very professional and made the entire process easy. Brandon contacted me throughout the service and provided timely updates. Obtaining a loaner vehicle and returning it was also an easy process. Obviously its a dealership repair shop so parts are a little more expensive but the oem part quality and installation by people who know your car is worth the upcharge. I had my car in to my local shop a few times in the past 6 months and they missed things these technicians did not. Service was done quickly and the car runs great now.

Purchased my 2022 Mini Countryman S here in AprilSales & Finance were great.Needed help with Nav & Audio system, interfacing with my phone, etc. Due to illness, we were unable to come in person. Our “phone help” was very inept- clearly not factory trained.Repeated requests for a manual (we were told we wd be receiving one) have been ignored.Loved our initial experience with this dealer- not so much the”aftercare”

Ive used MINI of Escondido service for all my MINI service needs, except for when Im traveling, and even then, use them as a standard for other MINI dealers. Brandon has been an amazing MINI rep and ruins my standard for other service writers. He raises the curve way too high for anyone to compare. Excellent service!! We had our Mini Clubman towed in needing a new battery and calibration and they had it scheduled and fixed the same day (a Monday). We originally had reached out to Mini of Ontario who would not even schedule an appointment to look at our car until 4 days later (very disappointing). Escondido Mini is our new go-to as they took great care of us and right away so we could have our car to keep on motoring (go to work).

I wish they would have told me on the phone before I brought my car in that the diagnostic fee was going to be charged as my warranty expired. Would have been good to know before hand.

I feel Brandon Martinez went beyond expectations to rectify issues with my vehicle.

Although I did not purchase my Mini at this dealership, I have trusted them with all the maintenance and repairs for it since 2012. I was disappointed to see that the separate Mini repair and dealership has closed and been combined with BMW, because I really liked the architecture and ease of checking in, etc. That part is a minimal disappointment, however I was quite alarmed by the lack of Covid-19 protection- no plexiglass installed either at the service check in desk or the check out register, both are less than 6 feet apart. There was no hand sanitizer put out for customers, and there was a gentleman in the waiting room who was only wearing a shield with no mask( very ineffective!).My technician was wearing a thin gaiter as a mask, and when I nicely pointed out that they are very little protection, he mentioned something about “well we just have to get through the herd immunity thing”. I was pretty floored. A few blocks away Palomar Medical Center has 147 Covid patients - many who never come out. With the prices they charge there is no excuse for not putting protections in place for customers like everywhere else, and the employees should be wearing proper masks. It’s such a selfish attitude to not care about infecting another person, who could likely die from contracting Covid. Sadly, I’ll be looking for a different place to take my car.
