Very disappointing in scheduling misinformation. On 1 28 19 we (I, my wife, & listening in was a representative from Lynx Glass Admin. working on behalf of our insurance company, State Farm) agreed upon an appointment made for this same date between 12 noon and 5 P.M.. This was a recorded conversation as well. The initial appointment was an in-shop appointment but when we found out through the receptionist that a mobile appointment was possible she related that she could make the appointment for today (1 28 19) which saved up a lot of time and effort. the Lynx representative who was on the phone at the time said State Farm would pay the bill either way and so the appointment was set. The technician was to come to our home. We were told wed get an on the way call. I called the office at 4:50 P.M. to check on the technicians arrival and were told by the same receptionist who set the appointment that the appointment was made for the NEXT DAY and not this day and all technicians had been dispatched home. I went over the facts concerning the appointment with her in detail. Im sure the conversation earlier that morning was recalled by her and an apology would have soothed my irritation but no apologies or admissions of error was offered. A day wasted, for sure in waiting. Mistakes happen, of course they do, but dont add to it in making another in trying to cover the first. Ive done business with this company before and was very satisfied all the way around. Im sure this incident isnt their normal way of doing things but this incident sure soured my desire for future dealings with them.
