While on vacation I had a bike emergency! A broken chain and a bike trip quickly approaching I called John Adams and they told me to stop in and theyd help remedy this situation. After a short stay and one new chain later they had me back on the bike paths for a great ride! Cant thank them enough for the fast service!

We went in looking for bikes for our two children. We knew it was a long shot because the size we need is sold out everywhere. But they took their time to talk to us about the proper size the kids needed, the difference between sizes from a box store and a bike store, as well as the different types of bikes availability for kids. Knowing that they couldnt sell us a bike that day - or even anytime soon because they were on backorder for so long - but still took the time to explain everything to us was very helpful and appreciative.

We needed a bike tune up done in a hurry, and they were great about accommodating our ridiculous schedule. Good work is hard to find!

The staff are beyond exceptional. They are patient with you and very knowledgeable about fixing and repairing bikes. I had a small repair needed on my bike because I lost a bolt that held the tire onto my bike. They found the part and fixed my bike in 5 minutes, then charged me $1 for the entire service. There is a reason they are basically 5 stars average for reviews. Quite impressed.

Got my dream bike!!! Joe at John Adams Cycling & Fitness in Erie, PA was so awesome! He was knowledgeable, patient, and answered my 500 questions about bikes lol. After purchase he gave me the friend advice about maintenance. He even came outside in the rain to help me load my bike into my car, honestly, I was having trouble fitting it in, he didn’t have to do that, and they now have a customer for life... Super cool!!!

Awesome staff that is very knowledgeable. We bought 2 specialized mountain bikes years ago and they had everything we needed on site for fantastic prices. These bikes have held up wonderfully. When issues come up, though rare, they are more than helpful to resolve these issues still to this day.

I purchased my bike there ten years ago. I wont go anywhere else. They are premo experts in bike repair. Never had a problem with them. They listen and advise. I came in with my husband to look for a bike for comfort writing.they have some really good products in the specialized brand. it would have been nice to be able to take the bike out for an actual test ride but at the time they didnt offer that. I dont know if they normally would but the person who helped us didnt offer it.

They stand behind what they sell and service.We have bought six bicycles from them over the past ten years, ranging from starter/kids bikes to a $2000 road bike. We have only been very pleased with sales and service.

My road bike needed the handlebars to be retaped and I wanted the bike to have a tune up. I went to a competitor first (dont know why) and they gave me the runaround they couldnt do it, they were too busy and they gave me the number of some mobile bike mechanic. So I was like whatever, you dont want my business. I then drove down to John Adams (which I should have done in the first place) since I have dealt with them before and was very satisfied, and the guy at the counter greeted me, showed me a good handlebar tape and told me they could do the tune up no problem. I left the bike there and about 3 hours later the guy calls me and says the bike is ready. Took it for a ride when I got home and it looked and rode like brand new. Thank you John Adams for the great service - I know where to go from now on for my bicycle needs.
