I have a Laars Endurance boiler for my home heat and hot water; these are notoriously difficult units to work on. My circulator pump died and I called Eastern to have a tech replace it. Ben Danvers arrived at the time I was promised and he spent the next few hours completing this incredibly awkward and onerous task. He was very professional the whole time despite the level of frustration he must have been feeling about this work. (These units are absolutely not designed to be maintained and when he called in to Laars tech support to ask for there were any tips / tricks to do the replacement, he was told no, that its just a very difficult job and that their newer units have a much better designed. Ben persevered throughout and was able to get it replaced through his dogged determination. Thanks Ben!
All my experience with Eastern Propane has always been very positive. I recently had to move my standby generator. Ben was my service man when it was originally installed and now when it had be moved. He was very knowledgeable and explained the entire process clearly and made it all go smoothly.
This company is terrible! Overall very hard to deal with but I’d like to focus on one incident that happened that they handled horribly. I have a short 2 car driveway that in the couple years I have been getting propane delivery’s they have NEVER pulled or backed in to the driveway we recently spent slot of money paving it and they backed the propane truck onto it and damaged the pavementWe now have to constant puddles/ice where the back tires of the Eastern truck parkedI called and was told to send an email and they have simply ignored I emailed again to no avail I will call again and keep this review updated with my results
We had a different propane company that Eastern bought out. My boyfriend works for a propane company, so with the buy out we decided to go with my boyfriends employer. Eastern came and picked up our propane tank, that still had propane in it, with zero notice. We called and were told that there was nothing they could do because it’s a holiday weekend and they’re too busy. They did not give us a credit for the propane that we paid for that was in the tank. We have a propane stove, so we have no way to cook. It’s a good thing it’s not cold yet, as we would have no heat either. Terrible customer service, would be zero stars if that was an option.
Ditched DF Richard who is worst service ever! Just hooked up with Eastern and service so far is very good hope to be customer for a long time
No heat two babys and was told basically go to a warming center or sit in my car they will get to me when they get to me and the lady on the phone was very rude told I have to wait between 3 hours
They do not offer one time deliveries at all, even when offering to pay a heavy delivery fee.
