New to the area and stopped in because they are closer than the bigger hardware chain stores. Wow...they have a little bit of everything...hardware, gardening, marine, gifts / cards, cleaning, etc. This is a great local place where you just want to come in and peruse the aisles. And I love that you can buy nails, screws, nuts, bolts, washers individually. I needed a couple of washers for a project, and they had exactly what I needed without having to buy a pack of 50. Will definitely be back to spend more time finding more treasures.

Nice folks work there and theyre a well stocked hardware store

I like it because of the extensive hardware section for marine. Also the staff is quite knowledgeable and I find the pricing much better than the large competitors. Its close to my house and they also have a very large rental section which I constantly get equipment for projects at the house. Big items I still need to use the big box stores but for a good steady supply of hardware material you cant beat it.

Not from the area but called this store to see if they had a product I needed. They didn’t, but honestly it was a long stretch them having it in the first place so do please do not allow that to imply a small product inventory, I’ve never been in the store.The lady I spoke with on the phone was so helpful and pointed me in the right direction. I sincerely appreciated her taking the time to help me when she didn’t have to. This is why I shop local and support small businesses, when possible. They are in the “people business”.I’ll be going here for paint when I start my next project, in a couple weeks.

We are extremely disappointed in Gulf Coast Hardwares lack of concern for public health by not even suggesting the use of masks to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 virus. The store is a potential cesspool of viral contamination. My friends and family no longer shop there.

Always very helpful... I wanted a large flange pop rivet..unfortunately they didnt have. So change of plans. Nut bolt and large flange. Creating a tote for crickets. So dont want the little buggars jumping all over the house. Anyway..whatever my needs, always been helpful and friendly. Open until 7pm now. I thought i was squeaking in at 5:45pm. Give them a try. Big box stores can be useful yet small town hardware stores are really important. They also have a rental section..oh..all kinda interesting equipment...enjoy

This is a great full service hardware store with just about everything a haniman needs and a small town feel. A large variety, very helpful workers. Kinda like the old days before the home centers. I Im glad I dropped in.☺️

Im a local Builder in the area for over 20 years. A full service hardware store with nearly everything youll need. No standing around waiting for service, always friendly, knowledgeable folks. And reasonable prices to boot. If you calculate the time wasted in the big box stores, they are often no deal at all.

The plastic handle to the glass lid of my go-to favorite crock-pot had cracked due to use over a number of years. Replacement handles are not available unless you also order the glass lid. I did not want to do that, as there was no problem with the lid, just with the handle. Russ at the store replaced the cracked handle with a suitable replacement. He spent some time getting the old handle off, which was very difficult as I was there watching, and putting on the replacement. Big box store would not have done that. My customer cost was $4.30. Leaving the store, I had a nice time talking crock pot cooking with Chuck at the service center, where the old handle had been removed. Overall customer great! I highly recommend this store.

I am a regular at this store when I need something for the home, boat or someone I am helping out. the personnel could not be more friendly or helpful and their prices are very competitive. They carry items large home stores might not and they are familiar with the applications for different circumstances. They are hard to beat for a good experience and expert advice for a reasonable price.

Ive used this store for 19 years and have been very satisfied. I had one bad experience years ago with one of their personnel, and that person was let go shortly after that. Their staff are courteous and helpful - they pretty much know their stuff and sometimes suggest solutions I hadnt thought of on projects. A couple of years after I found them, I needed to re-plank a 42 trailer up north and I couldnt find the right size stainless steel bolts, so I called them and they shipped them to me in Iowa. I wish I had this store available up north as well.

New owners have turned the place around, they now have brand name quality items instead of all cheap china knockoffs. Love that there is always enough staff to help and man the registers instead of other stores and banks that leave only one person in the whole place.

My husband went to Gulf Coast Hardware and the elderly manager was so rude and actually told the cashier to “get rid of him” and to “do whatever to get him out of here” and it was all because my husband had a trump hat on and asked if they had any Trump flags in stock. The cashier even apologized to my husband for her manager’s behavior. Not a very nice way to treat your customer of 5 + years !

Good people working there, but who ever created the awards points system after being a frequent shopper shouldnt have that job. Probably spent on average $250 a week for two years on heavily taxed supplies I just received my $5 dollars off coupon. should have kept it and kicked me in the nuts on my next visit would have felt better.

Great store! They stock most likely to be needed item for homes, Florida rooms and mobile homes. Prices are competitive and sometimes better than the box store.

Had everything my Mr. needed!

Rented a stump grinder when we returned it they charged us to replaced the teeth because there was wear on the teeth. They said we can not use it in dirt. We grinded rotten palm stumps which are are in dirt. Weve been in the lawn care business for 28 year, never heard of this before. That means every time it get rented the teeth needs to be replaced. At customers cost. Sounds like it a manufacturer issue not the customers. Watch what you rent from them they might charge for additional fees that are not in writing.

As a long time customer here I cant believe how badly I was just treated and I dont even understand why. The sole cashier working right now on 10-24-18 at 530 just gave me serous attitude like I was keeping her from leaving. I only wanted to return a 3$ hose repair end and imminently she growls that she wont take it back because the tag is no longer attached (i had the tag with me). I was surprised but she changed her mind and looked up my rewards account, scanned the tag then picked up the piece and growled no its broken you bent It. Again surprised I asked where and she grunts right here the whole bottom is bent, you bent It I wont take It back. I look at It and ask you mean the WHOLE BOTTOM? Thats the end flared, thats how its made! She says No! You did that. You can talk to a manager but It doesnt matter. I just say no thanks its not worth the 3$ or your attitude and left. The thing is It wasnt 3 $ that I care about Its her tone and attitude for no reason. I needed to pick up other items while I was there and get a different brand hose bib because what she didnt even ask was why I wanted to return It, its because the threads were too shallow and It just slips off hose nozzles so my hose is still broken. Just silly I love the store but im shocked.

I had to give one star just to write a review, I would give -0 star if I could. I live across the street from this store and two days a week they have Benos barbecue come with their truck. We were warned by our landlord of issues that may arise with the hassle of this. Been at this address for 6 months+. At first it wasnt a big deal, now currently it has gotten worse. The previous tenants had no parking signs put up in the driveway and people totally disregard the signs and park any way. Sometimes blocking us in our own driveway. The noise from the barbecue truck has gotten louder and there is so many people that our dogs cant even go outside to use the bathroom because they bark. I called the hardware store and explained that it is becoming a nuisance. The store manager was extremely rude, laughed and said well they have been here longer than you have been renting. I explained it doesnt matter who long I have been renting its becoming a nuisance. I asked for the barbecue truck to moved to the other side of their building and he said that my opinion didnt matter. I then stated that I, along with other residential people across the street will be filing a complaint with the city. He then started to me go file your complaint and hung up the phone on me. I would walk over and get tools and such but after this they just lost a bunch of customers. I will file my complaint and I will go to social media outlets if the problem is not corrected. I also have video and photos of all things.

For over the 15 years Ive been a customer of this store because of the helpful staff and extensive stock of nuts, bolts, etc. Today I had my first bad experience when a aervce desk employee wouldnt help me select a spline for a screen because Its not my job. I hope this was an isolated event.

This is my husbands go-to place for multiple reasons, but mainly for general marine items. He says the people who work there are very knowledgeable and helpful.
