Delicious food, lovely outdoor dining area, rooftop greenhouse, retro looks, organic products. Outstanding! I can’t tell you how much I love Grow + Gather. It makes me so happy every time we come for takeout or to simply have a kombucha on the patio in the sun. They also have very cool hydroponic lettuces and other greens growing inside. A fantastic addition to the neighborhood!
First time visit: This is a restaurant with a coffee shop and farm all shop under one roof. We ate at the restaurant. Food was very delicious I got the falafel gyro, Brussels sprouts and tomato sandwich. I’m vegetarian and there was a few items on the menu. The ambience is beautiful and employees were friendly, matcha latte was good and they have a full bar. 4 stars cause tomato sandwich was $10 and had 2 thin slices of tomatoes. It was good but could have used more filling.
One of the coolest concepts around Colorado. They have a massive custom indoor hydroponic farm plus rooftop greenhouse. Former auto shop that’s been there forever and they have done well to preserve some of that history. The Potato Benedict was amazing and brunch is well priced. The local produce market is one of a kind for Englewood/South Denver. Inventive and inspiring.
Absolutely love this place! Such a great edition to Englewood. Food, service, and atmosphere was top notch! We cant wait to go back to try more items on the menu.
Had a great weekend lunch. Best non-traditional eggs benedict Ive had - eggs were fresh and beautifully cooked, bacon was delicious, sides flavorsome and well-presented. Neat building, great concept. They even have a little market full of tempting local gourmet goods. Cant wait to see the growing spaces and rooftop deck full of plants!
Happy to be updating post! Still don’t love that you can’t make reservations - but did have a good dining experience. The bartender handcrafts cocktails (and his own simple syrups, etc) and the small plates offered delicious bites (try the beets). The wait staff wasn’t exactly on top of it (a little too laid back and brought us the wrong check).
I was not impressed at all and left feeling so disappointed. The food was over priced and very bland. I went with my family of six, and not a single one of us were all that impressed. My father order the hotdog and could hardly eat it because it was swimming in mustard, my brother ordered the falafels and they were mushy in the middle and flavorless. The rest of our food orders were okay, but nothing to sing home about. Just basic, bland food.I was also disappointed in the little store area. There wasnt anything worthwhile in the shop that I couldnt get cheaper at the grocery store down the road. I hoped they would have some fresh mushrooms or locally made cheeses or something that would be unique from what you could get at a normal grocery store, but there wasnt anything like that. Just a few small plants, drinks, and t-shirts. I think perhaps I may have gone on an off day because there seems to be produce and more products in other pictures people posted, but there seriously was nothing the day we went.I was also wanting to see the grow area or have more of an inclusive experience with the actual garden (thats kind of the point of a farm to table experience), but alas there is only one small area inside the dimly lit dinning area where you can see one small area of the hydroponic garden behind a glass window. I see other reviews where people were at least allowed to sit on the roof top near the greenhouse but that was closed when we were there.I guess I had a totally different picture of this place in my brain prior to coming, which led to my disappointment. I thought it would be a cool grow area that you could actually see with all the various herbs and vegetables that were in your meal. I thought the store area would be more like a small farmers market-like store. And I expected a food experience that was full of fresh and unique flavors from the garden (seriously, there was NO flavor...it was all so very basic and bland). On a side note, we sat at a table that sits six people and the legs of the table have these thick iron legs on rollers. My 86 year old grandmother was seated in front of one of the legs and cut her foot on the iron leg. When we told the staff they just said oh, well tell the manager next time hes in. Gee, thanks. Thats really helpful. Meanwhile my grandmother is walking out of the restaurant bleeding from her foot and you didnt offer any help to her or even ask if shes okay.Overall, it was just such a disappointing experience and not worth the money at all. We drove 45 minutes to try this place. I picked this place because I wanted to take my brother (who has a masters degree in botany and studies plants) here to have an interesting farm to table experience. Oh well. Well just stick with our own farm to table at home...and it will be full of flavor.
Good food and a fun atmosphere. Easy online ordering. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches and the potatoes!
Went there while I was in Denver visiting. Food was so SO good and the environment was really quite nice. I have one complaint. Apparently they close at 8pm and they took our reservation for 7:45. A 8:30 they started circling our table and grabbing the dishes. It was no cool.. they should have never taken our reservation.
Excellent food and great service! They easily accommodated our large family next to their super cool grow room. Cant wait to go back.
Self sufficient greenhouse garden. Food was incredible & fresh. Also had a cute country stir attached .
Such a cute place. Love the food and the drinks, which are locally sourced.
Delicious food!! If youre there at dinner, have the mushroom pot pie. Its amazing!!
Best salad Ive had in a very long time!!
Great little spot, but really need to improve their hours of operation. Open a little too late for a coffee shop especially for a neighborhood of mostly young parents. Closed on Sundays which is confusing for a brunch/lunch spot. Hopefully they can fix that soon!
Over $8 for a flat beer; will not be back. Pretentious and boring business - owners only pay attention to certain customers.
So much potential if they had an operator who knows what they are doing. They must have a lot of money to burn here because they make it extremely difficult to order from and enjoy. Some observations:- they aren’t open on Sundays. One of the only weekend days and a great day for brunch. Why?- the food is pretty overpriced.- the breakfast items (which you must be confined to until 11am) are 3 things. One is just eggs (2) on top of a giant bowl of potatoes - at $14. The breakfast burrito is nothing but potatoes.- the cocktails are expensive - and weak. Maybe an ounce of spirit in there? I had three to catch a buzz. Switched to wine.- they aren’t open early (6-6:30) for coffee service in their coffee bar area, so there’s no point in stopping on your way to work.- speaking of coffee, drip is $2.75
Best burger in town. Definitely a must try Im sure everything on the menu is fantastic. Fresh ingredients and do delicious.
Fantastic service and excellent quality food. Lovely space. A regular place we visit when in Englewood. Highly recommended. Great for vegetarians and vegans along with omnivores.
Very good food and I love that they grow a lot of their vegetables on site!! Great local-food sourced restaurant!
Books. Plants. Coffee. Add some old school vinyl and its a dream shop come true!
Wonderful food, friendly service, and a super cute little market with coffee, baked goods, and gardening supplies!
Not only is the food great, but their safety practices made me feel comfortable eating out on their patio. I had the BLT and a cucumber and tomato salad that were delicious. You can taste the freshness and flavor of the freshly grown vegetables. The bread also tastes home made and not store bought.
Friendly service, delicious locally sourced food... all while you can see your stalk of lettuce growing one room over!
A wonderful new gem to have in the neighborhood. Love this place, the atmosphere, the products, and the food are all great! Hope to see more community events here to take part in.My only suggestion is to please make some kind of cold brew or iced coffee. (Iced Americano doesnt cut it). I would gladly switch from my daily Corvus Kyoto iced coffee fix to a decent cold brew from your lovely shop!
Grow + Gather is one of my very favorite places in Englewood! It can be a hair on the expensive side, but I love the sense of community that is developed there, as well as the diligence to promote locally sourced food. My work team and I end up there at least once a week. If you get a chance, go to the restaurant and order the BLT!
What a super cool place! I was able to get unique sustainable gifts from their market store. We were invited to tour the facility which is absolutely state of the art and so unique. The food was delicious and super reasonably priced, and the Chef came to our table to talk about the dishes and ask how we were enjoying our food. I actually ordered their oatmeal and I have to say it was the best I have ever eaten. The flavors were so wonderful! Everything is locally grown and soon to be harvested from their state of the art on site facility. The staff was so friendly and informative. Englewood is so lucky to have a place like this. I would go daily if I could!
Such a perfect and welcome addition to the neighborhood! Delicious food (I feel healthier 😋) wonderful staff and a really amazing setup for fresh greens and locally grown products. Informative classes for their products too. Our favorite is local On the Fence Kombucha! So good...
Great spot! Colorado baked was delicious. They are adding even more growing space on the roof. Excited to see this place continue to develop. Would recommend.
What an awesome place! Love their philosophy and their hydroponic systems were impressive. The food was wonderful and all well priced. Excited to go back and see how this continues to evolve.
Educate your baristas on how to make a coffee that is balanced and taste good. Just wasted 5$ on a vanilla americano that tasted like extremely hot water. There was not enough espresso to water ratio which made the drink watery and burned my tounge, also I paid extra for vanilla and i couldnt even tell it was in there. I also asked for an inch of half and half and it was by no means creamy at all. Ive been able to dr up gas station coffee to make it taste better then that drink. Coffee conisours do not waste your money here safeway Starbucks seems to make better drinks at half the price.
Great food and cool atmosphere
Good food, unique setting
Super cool place. I recommend you check it out!
The coffee shop gets 5 stars. Good, friendly service. Sorry I cant say the same for the restaurant. Pot pie looked great but it was mostly potatoes in a bechamel sauce. Just a few cuts of carrot.
Ive been in twice., once for breakfast and tonight for dinner. Excellent food and very friendly staff. Nice chat with the owner who has a unique and ambitious vision for this new addition to the dining scene in the Englewood/Cherry Hills neighborhood. Dont take my word for it - check it out yourself!
Food was delicious good service 👍
With the theme Grow + Gather and having an incredibly up and coming location in a increasingly conscious city, one would think your veg options would be decent. Sad to say your menu is a big disappointment. Grow and gather VEGANISM.*I dont seem to have an option to reply to your response but I cant help but laugh because there were two vegan options on your menu. Thats not variety. And misled? Your name is misleading. 🤣
Local, fresh, and unique but comforting food/drinks. Amazing atmosphere with very passionate and knowledgeable employees. Definitely a favorite!
Amazing atmosphere, great coffee, super friendly staff. Great place to telecommute, and the adjoined restaurant is incredibly tasty.
Delicious! Clever menu! On site grown veggies, Unique! Warm & friendly staff! Absolute must! Well be back for sure! Thanks, Joanne & David
Everything was delicious. Unique place. The “single” side is a little on the small end.
Awesome food, super cool concept, great staff, all wrapped up in a beautifully designed building. We will be spending a lot of time here. Thanks y’all.
Best oatmeal Ive ever had. Love this restaurant
Amazing concept and fantastic food!! Cant wait to go back!!
Amazing concept restaurant that grows its own food! Come check this place out!
Local gem! Great restaurant and market with a great place to relax with a cup of coffee.
Outstanding food, great service, and totally focused on keeping everything local. I love that this place has taken root in Englewood.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and I had some of their tea and it was delicious.
Why stay during a pandemic if you cant even answer a phone call
Unique place; love it!
Great food, awesome environment
