Charlie was amazing. Very professional and didnt try to just throw parts at my problem and charge me a ton. He was quick and very honest, which is hard to find in a mechanic nowadays. Thanks for being a good human being Charlie!

Im unfortunately going to have to find a new mechanic shop. Im leaving 4 stars because this place has always treated me fairly and taken care of things quickly - when I can actually get in and have an appointment! Its ridiculous to have to call 5 times a day several days in a row to even get a call back. Especially when its something urgent like it has been lately. Had to have transmission checked by another place to tell me it was a sensor. Called 4 times to jeeperformance and finally got an appointment second day of calling. Now my starter needs to be replaced. After calling 3 times in one day, no calls back all week, Im done. Ive had a mobile mechanic be able to come out, diagnose and they are coming today to replace my starter. Jeeperformance is a great shop but theyre obviously too busy to care about loyal customers.

Charlie is the best Jeep mechanic in the state.I’ve been taking my Jeeps to this guy for going on 15 years now. I would not even think of taking any Jeep of mine anywhere else.He’s always fair, always honest, and knows pretty much everything there is to know about Jeeps.I would think the only drawback to this place is scheduling. He’s usually about two weeks out.That’s the price you pay for being good I guess.

My windshield wipers on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler stopped working out of no where last week. Had gone to another mechanic and issue was misdiagnosed. I wasted money on ordering a part that wasn’t even the issue.Called Jeep performance yesterday and Charlie took care of my car same day and was able to diagnose the issue correctly and replace the part needed. Great prices and great customer service. After wasting money on other mechanics, so glad I found this place. Take your Jeeps here!!

I’ve been trying to get an appointment here for over 4 weeks and have called 10x and left several voicemails. I got one call back basically that just said they would call me back. Really bummed as I don’t want to go back to a dealership but feel like I have no choice!

Five stars doesnt seem nearly enough. Ive been taking my Jeep to Charlie over the last nine years and Ive never had a problem. Hes accurate with estimate upfront. He does a great job on the Jeep. And, wait for it...he honest. I never feel that hes pulling a fast one on me with a repair. Its that kind of integrity that keeps me coming back.

The short version of my review would be I wont take my Jeep anywhere else. The longer version is based on customer service, expertise, friendliness, honesty, fair prices and ethical. Charlie Spradlin, owner, is the absolute best Jeep mechanic anywhere with years of experience. He knows the old stuff but also stays on top of new challenges with computer systems, etc. Its the perfect combination of old-school & new-fangled stuff. :-) He lives and breathes Jeeps, so take my advice and dont take yours anywhere else. You wont be disappointed.

If you havent checked the Car Talk reviews for Charlie, and Jeeperformance, take a look. These guys dont have many reviews on Google, or Yelp, but the Car Talk site has some thoughtful, in-depth write-ups. Im a decent shade-tree mechanic, familiar with what parts and labor cost, and what specific jobs require in terms of labor. These guys are beyond fair. For my 99 Cherokee, one thats never been professionally serviced, he proposed a ridiculously low rate for some labor-intensive work. Hearing that, I asked him to take care of a bunch more things just so I could pay what their times worth. I am pleased.Within their Jeepish niche, they know their trade. Look past their lack of website and total lack of marketing. Charlies a mechanics mechanic.

Jeeperformance is the most reliable Jeep expert you can find. Charlie will fix and service your Jeep better and faster than the dealer, for a fraction of the price. Highly recommended.

Great service, professional and extremely knowledgable. Charlie was kind enough to take time to look over my 1974 CJ5 while it was a the mechanic next door. His second opinion was extremely valuable. Spent at least 30 minutes diagnosing some issues and discussing solutions. No cost, he was just happy to help. Highly recommend if you have a Jeep that needs mechanical work.

Ive brought my Jeep Patriot here a few times. The diagnosis is quick, the estimates are pretty accurate and fair-priced, and I dont get the feeling that theyre trying to sell me service that isnt needed. For any Jeep repairs in the future, Ill be coming back even though its across town.

Charlie has been my mechanic for a few years now. I was referred to him by a friend when I purchased my wrangler. He has done an extensive amount of work to it over the years and I could not be more satisfied. Its nice to have an honest mechanic that always backs up his work !
