They definitely have dropped the ball where it comes to customer service. I was told that I was put down for a loaner car when I booked the service in person (I had showed up a week prior to my actual service date by mistake) They checked me in at the front desk, I was told someone will come get me, I receive a text 30 minutes later that I will be notified when the car is done with service. When I checked back with them, they told me they had me down for waiting. The guy at the front desk was trying to argue the fact he messed up (he was the one who told me in person he put me down for a loner in person because they were short staffed in the service department when I showed up a week earlier for my appointment the week before). Here is a note buddy...say you messed up and move on vs arguing with your customer. I also mentioned I had a wheel issue when I booked this service, no one bothered asking about it. I had to bring it to their attention and was told it would take a lot longer and come back another day. If you had a tech speak to me as they should have initially all of it could have been resolved.Now I have to come back and go through this all again. Not looking forward to it, but have been a customer for a long time here so hoping this was a one off situation.

This business is dishonest, untrustworthy and unprofessional. The business fails to fulfill its contractual obligations. As part of the purchase agreement, certain services were guaranteed. The dealer refused to provide the agreed upon services when I attempted to access the services. I called the salesman and his manager in an attempt to resolve the matter. I never received a response to my calls. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Buyers beware. Stay away from this business.

Waiting time from the moment of arrival to the moment when service advisor see you, and paperwork gets done was too long. I had to wait almost 70 min. Compared to my experience with Audi Dealership, it is over too long. It seams that service people at Mercedes didn’t value customers time too much.

I had good experience of this place in the past, on couple of occasions, for tire replacement. But recently I did my first yearly service at this place as I have owned my car only for a year. This review is not for the service technicians as I think its too early to say anything about the quality of servicing. This review is specifically for the service advisor who was assigned to me. I dont want to mention the name on the internet but I am sure if this review is ever read by the showroom, it will be easy to track down using my name. The service advisor just gave a very unwelcome feeling right from the start. As this is my first car and first servicing, I was expecting the advisor to explain me every details and the best options for me. On the other hand, he started with providing me a service B plan (the most costly option) . When I asked about reason for the costliest option (as the car is certified pre-owned and has only 6k miles since the buy), he said it is recommended. Throughout our conversation, he gave me a feeling like I am the advisor and you should listen to what I say as you dont understand anything. At every question of mine I got an expression which conveyed that he thinks I am trying not to spend a lot on servicing. On the other hand, I was just trying to understand how these things work.I ended up spending $1300 on the servicing so money was not an issue. While collecting the car, I asked him some clarifications about the labor charge and if he missed them while explaining it to me the first time, I got that expression again and started proving how accurate his predictions were (he was right on that). I had this belief that Mercedes goes way and beyond in terms of customer service and satisfaction but that is not the case anymore and I I think I will have to find a different showroom here on. I hope this review will help showroom to improve its customer service.

I needed to have duplicate key programmed, which had already been ordered. I was told the key was properly programmed. I got home and the programming did not work. Lots of money for nothing. I contacted the service rep and he said to bring it back in. A waste of time and expense.

Amazing service! Can’t rave enough about how easy it was to get my car towed from my apartment, have the tire repaired (while having the warranty looked up to confirm I shouldn’t have to pay full price) AND valeted back to my apartment. Very professional, courteous, and kind staff. This will now be my go to dealership as I was previously using Mercedes Benz of Paramus.

My vehicle broke down on Monday, I couldn’t even start the engine. I made several phone calls to request for towing but this service center wouldn’t even pick up the phone during regular business hours. This is a GLE450 I purchased about two months ago. So they finally took my car on Tuesday and I got a call on Wednesday saying they were not able to take a look at my vehicle that day. I wanted to request for a loaner car but since they said it was only going to take a day to solve this, I didn’t ask for it. I get a text message the next day and they say they don’t have the batteries in stock. So then, I requested for a loaner vehicle but they said they can’t provide one because they don’t have any, apparently. It’s Friday already and the work on my vehicle still has not even started. I do not appreciate how they keep making excuses and my experience with Mercedes, especially with this service center has become the worst out of all the other makers.

All was well except the pick and delivery timings were off. I had long wait to her back form the service department and I understand they were backlogged but once a time is given it should be kept or the customer such as myself makes time adjustments pushing around job responsibilities to no avail.Barring these issues the rest was fine. The care was washed but the trunk was not cleaned with vacuum. for that i will ahev to go to the car wash again.

Really love my Smart for 2, all electric Smart Car. Unfortunately for the past 2 years Ive had a specific issue with charging, one the run battery is fully charged the system reverses polarity and drains the 12V starter battery.This happened from the start. I found a work around in that I would plug it in, identify the end time and set an alarm on my iPhone and go into the garage and unplug it before it died.I finally purchased a portable battery charger, never parked the car against my garage wall, and 20+ times opened the hood, jumped the dead 12V and drove on. We call that a workaround. Finally getting slightly irritated, I called the national customer service # in Atlanta. Joe insisted he was the guy to solve my problem - oops, no! He couldnt help at all.I brought the car back to the dealer this week, with the charger, etc. They nicely gave me a loaner and had the car for two days. Voila I get a text saying the work is done, come pick it up. In reading through the paperwork, I noticed that there was a technical bulletin on my exact problem. The technician updated some software, replaced the battery (3rd one in 2 years) and said alls well w/ my Smart for 2. When I asked the service advisor why, knowing full well that I had this issue from day 1, why they didnt contact me about the fix. He said, we just wait until the next time you come in for service and then we fix it. This attitude is indefensible. Auto companies daily spend time and money notifying customers of recalls, service bulletins, etc. This is supposed to the Crown Jewel in tri-state Mercedes Benz collective. Not even close.Socio, you can and must do better!

Despite the premium brand image Mercedes Benz holds, I have never felt such a premium customer feeling at this dealership. The way that the front desk people greet and treat me makes feel like I just entered a dollar store. Some people think that I am exaggerating it. One thing is clear: I have never felt that this particular dealer (at least, the service department) enhanced my ownership. I had services at different dealers in other states as well. A couple of dealers truly impressed me by the level of services, workmanship, and complimentary services. I have decided to try out Mercedes Benz of Paramus for my next service.

The value of my car was more than what I owed to the bank and instead of the dealership paying me the difference through a check, the dealer decided to apply that money as a down payment when I specifically stated I was not applying a down payment for the car. So basically, they positive equity money from my trade-in was kept and applied as a down payment without my permission and knowledge until I read the contract when i got home. You know how it is when you visit the finance departmenr and everything is about signing here and there with little time to read what youre actually signing. Everything else about the experience was positive but this will definitely prevent me from returning to this dealership. If you have positive equity in your vehicle, I highly recommend clearly stating you want your positive equity amount to be presented as a check if you dont intend to place a down payment.

Had an issue with my GLA250. Happened twice that, after sitting in garage for extended period of time, could not get car to move. Had to gun engine to get it going. Heard rattling from rear of car. Dropped car off on Saturday and did not hear anything back from service. Called Monday morning and was told car had not been looked at yet. Why did I drop it off on Saturday then? Was told nothing wrong with car and that I should drive it more often. What about the rattling? I expect to have to bring it back in at some point for the same thing.

After returning for a second time for a tire that should have been fixed previously they found a nail. Then replaced the windshield only to damage the inspection sticker while removing it. Then the service representative Dave got indignant about the sticker. He didn’t relate and spoke about his daughter getting ready to have a black child to emphasize with the dangerous situation of not having a legible inspection sticker. Not only didn’t he want to take fault, he compiled the negative situation with inconsideration. This entire scenario was below a standard for which my well earned money is paying.

I was not properly informed so that the senior management had to get involved. The service representative talked to me on the phone while he was eating food full of mouth. I have a mixed review. Had an engine transmission issue on my new C330. Called the dealership and promptly had my car towed in the same day. The problem was solved in a reasonable time frame. However when I went to pick up my car after texting I would be in within the hour, as per their text notification system, I waited over a half our for my car to be brought out. My car finally showed up and I was handed the key without anybody explaining to me what serviced was preformed to fix the issue. I think this dealership has gotten to busy to provide me with the care expected from Mercedes Benz. Dealing with Benzel-Busch since 1995, very disappointing this trip in.

I arrived at 8:30 AM at service center, I met Mr David Tangen 9:18,48 minutes after arrival, and he told me that service will take less than 2 hours, and hence I decided to wait instead of having loaner car.However, my service took 3 hours and was ready at 12:10PM without it being washed.It seems that Mr Tangen forgot to move my car from normal service toexpress one because the car supposed to have regular service in case of loan a car.I saw that my car just started service 10:40 AM. That means that between 9:18AM TO 10:40, they did nothing.Up to now, I really appreciated Benzel Busch excellent service, but this time, Mr David Tangens performance was really terrible.

They take great care of my car but you should probably speak with a manager to make sure your expectations are met. My scheduled loaner wasnt available, so my service was delayed 1 week. I was told coupon I had would be accepted, it required a call to MB HQ to get a customer accommodation to make that true. Mask-wearing policies arent enforced, so if youre high risk, or protecting a loved one who is, proceed with caution.

My car had a recall and like many of us, it can be a hassle to find the time to go and get the repairs. The recall didnt impact my day to day driving and use of the vehicle so it felt like it could be a chore to address. I was very wrong - the Benzel-Busch Service at the Englewood location was so easy to work with! I made my appointment - one phone call, no hold time. Actually had to change it last minute and was able to do so very simply online through their appointment calendar. I worked with Chris Iseman, who is extremely professional and very genuine. They organized a loaner car for me and even let me keep it an extra day because there was a snow storm when I was supposed to pick mine up. End to end my experience was great and I would absolutely recommend this center.

Unfortunately I needed to replace the fuel tank door and assembly.When I reviewed the bill I notice a charge for $28.35 for putting on a paper sticker inside the fuel door with the tire pressure. That may be a 30 second job and cost of a paper sticker. I was told I would be issued a credit.I was told a credit would be issued when I picked up the car on February 25 and again on March 4 in an email. No credit has been issued and there is no pending transaction for a credit on my charge account as of this morning (March10). With the amount that Benzel Busch charges for labor is it really necessary to pad the bill with this ridiculous charge and then not credit back after being promised?

NEVER coming back here. Looks like its back to Paramus Mercedes, where I had to go buy my car since they didnt want to sell me the one I wanted here. But thats for a seperate sales review, I digress. Such a terrible experience from drop off to pick up. Sent 3 texts to the number I was texted from them and I never heard back for 3 days. Was told my car would be ready Tuesday, called and texted to follow up with Dave but was unable to get a hold of him at his desk and the text. He mustve been too busy to help me, for 3 days. I then get a call on Wednesday that it was ready and to respond to the text(how ironic) with the receipt and that the car would be ready about an hour after signing. I signed at 1 PM. I arrived at 2:45 signed in at the desk and was told Dave would be right with me. After about 30 mins of waiting l, I approached Dave directly and he had no idea who I was even after I gave him my name. apparently he lost my paperwork and the name didnt ring a bell. Told me to wait that hed be right with me lol he then comes back and tells me that my cars not ready that they were going to wash it for me as if he was doing something special. They do it all the time you come in for service. I know because Ive been coming here for over 12 years now. So I was made to wait again while they finished that. I guess you and Orlando must be upset we took our business to Paramus after so many years of loyalty. No worries I will make sure everyone I know hears this story. Automatic mirrors were locked and I asked an attendant for help when retrieving my car. You dont know how to do it,? he asked. I stated I would not have asked for help if I knew. Its your car, he stated aggressively. He was unpleasant and unmasked when customers were required to wear masks. I asked him to step away from my car. He refused. I asked for his name. He would not provide same. I approached the young man who was at the customer service desk and asked for the manager. He said he would tell the manager to see me. I waited in the vehicle drop off/pick up area for ten minutes and decided to leave. Great dealership, great people with whom I have enjoyed doing business. This was a terrible experience of which management should be aware.

My personal concierge chris uhualing is AMAZING! He always goes above and beyond yo ensue I recieve excellent service and have a good experience! Purchased a 2019 E450 wagon CPO from Benzel-Busch. The overall purchase experience was average. There was a good selection of the vehicles. Representatives there are warm and friendly. A couple of misses however. First of all, without asking the customer, a company logo was put on the trunk. When asked to remove it, the service person advised against it as it would leave a mark on the paint. Why would one do that without getting the permission from the car owner? Secondly, the final pre delivery inspection took hours and we had to wait around. We could come back to pick it up another day if we were told that it could take several hours. Thirdly, a piece of cover for the rear view mirror was removed and not put back. We noticed it after driven the car home. How was it not spotted during the final inspection? Lastly, Connect Me service was not activated at the dealership as it should. We were sent home by the sales person, telling us that we can do it from home. Each incident is minor but it impacts the overall experience. In comparison, my prior experience with Audi and Porsche dealerships were impeccable.

Not sure why I go back to be honest. The staff seems miserable and it reflects on their treatment of customers. They seem completely disorganized, pricing is often not made clear, your handed things to sign without explanation, dropped off for problem-charged a ton of $- and 2 days later I notice the problem again. Last time a a valet member was sleeping in the booth right in the main waiting area for everyone to see. And most important this was the atmosphere BEFORE COVID AS WELL, so no excuses. If you’re not rich or nasty you seem to get treated worse. Sadly another dealership is too far for me and would likely be just as bad. Hopefully management can get this placed squared away soon.

The person in the front upon entering the building was very rude, I had complained that 3 of my tires had issues and he kept going back and forth with me about it, and then I asked to speak to a service advisor. My service advisor was very gracious and heard and noted all my complaints. However, upon getting my car back, Benzel Busch service dept. had failed to resolve all my complaints. I am very very disappointed, this has never happened to me in the 6 years I have been leasing from them.
