I went in for some new tires (they were reasonably priced) & after installing them myself, realized that my bikes shifters were a mess. I returned an hour before they closed & Ben was able to get them working properly. Thanks man!

El Camino is our go-to bike shop for parts, service, used kids’ bikes (when available!), and pretty much everything. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, stock good stuff, and reasonable.

I came into the store for toe cages for my bike and the owner found them and installed them himself and I was on my way. No other store would do this for sure. El Camino Bike Shop is the best in the San Diego County. You can count on them for service and great customer care.

Almost perfect- work order # 9372Brought my bike in for a tune up and new rear tire. Ben was professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Bike was ready on time as promised however 8th gear is still slipping. I mentioned this at drop off and got the reply, no problem “we check that out during the tuneup”. Everything was clean and nice and I’m sure if I brought it back they would fix it but it’s a pain to haul it in. No big deal but it would have been nice to have that fixed.

I had been to the ECBS a couple of times for small purchases, and its always been a great experience, so I was looking for a new bike for my 9yo kid, and to my surprise found it at ECBS a nice Haro. The staff was very helpfull, super pleasant, still very professional, thus my kid rolled out of the store with a new bike. I will deffinitely return.

I went with my daughter to buy her a bike for her birthday. The staff helped me select the perfect bike and fitted my daughter did a helmet. They also fixed my son’s bike and it is good as new!

Ive been using El Camino Bike shop for close to 20 years and whenever something happens to my bikes, I always seem to end up here because they either have what I specifically need or can do what I want done.Also, they will do custom work on your bike very quickly and professionally. Theyre very knowledgeable and very reasonable.Recently I had a seat and post stolen off my commuter/fitness bike in broad daylight in the ghetto section near Petco where I work and El Camino Cycle, Ernie specifically, had the right stuff.

El Camino Bike Shop has been my local go-to store for many years now. I appreciate the friendly staff and a good selection of biking products. The service department was very helpful with a warranty issue I had with my Trek Mountain Bike.

Talked my wife to start riding with me. She had lots of questions and Dave took the time to get the right bike for her and build her confidence. Dave put her on a trainer so she could practice using clip in pedals.

We have bought kids bikes and adult bikes here for at least 15 years. The staff is great and the selection is very good. I have always been happy with the tuning of new bikes and repair on crashed ones.

I broke a spoke the day after Thanksgiving. This is one of few bike shops open on Black Friday. They were abe to get me the spoke, a spoke wrench, the tool to remove my sprocket hub and loosened the sprocket hub i(so I could put the spoke on) in no time at all, and better then expected pricing. Great service!

This place is okay. Bipolar customer service. They were super nice when I dropped off the bike. Said they would call when it was ready the following day. Never received a call or voicemail. I called to follow up an hour before closing the next day. The guy who answered acted like I did something wrong. Said he called the day I dropped it off and it went straight to voicemail. He never left a voicemail, never tried to call again the next day. Was super rude. Just poor customer service. Never going back.

Extremely well stocked bicycle shop with plenty of bicycles and they are doing a great job falling behind the emerging market for electric assist bikes. But for the needs of people looking for quality FOLDING RECUMBENT TADPOLE TRIKES, they are completely out of the game. I had a very mixed experience. One individual up front rebuffed me straight away and was assuming incorrect information about my visit. Another much more agreeable employee came to my rescue and helped me out admirably. He allowed me to explain to him what an X - seam was and to show him the information about it on their own company website. He quickly assisted me in doing what was necessary to measure mine at 43 inches. He could see one model on their company website had a boom range too small. I thanked him for his assistance and he thanked me for teaching him something entirely new about the industry. He was helpful and considerate in every way and I left in time for him to tend to the needs of another customer just arriving and interested in an electric bike.

We returned a bike that was purchased from El Camino as a gift and decided to get another one which was exactly the same price. Turns out the new one had brakes that were $120 cheaper than the one we returned. We were told we would get that amount credited back when we picked up new bike. But on that day owner Will wanted to look into it more. We have not heard from him since nor has he returned phone calls. Got ripped off for $120.

5 star service and great selection of bicycles! I needed a friends bike fixed and Will told me to bring it in and he jumped right on it. This is the best bike shop in Encinitas. I’ve shopped here for decades and got bikes for my kids here who are now grown up. I recently bought a carbon frame Trek here for myself too. There were a few glitches getting the bike to fit me but they quickly took care of it.

Ive brought a few bikes in for serviceable things that I didnt want to do myself. They are always super friendly & knowledgeable. Thee 1st time I went in, they fixed minor issue with a disc brake, and they didnt charge me for it! Since then, Ive been coming back and got my girlfriend to buy a bike from them recently.

I have been to this bike shop at least 5 times in the last month to get parts or work done on the new bike Im building and these guys are always super friendly and very helpful. They didnt have one part in stock that I needed and they got the part in just a few days and set up my brakes perfectly! I will continue to support this great bike shop.And per Mike below that is completely false. I see the long time bike shop owner Will at the shop every single time I have come in and the guy is super friendly.

I went in to get a flat tire fixed. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. The guy who fixed my bike was more than willing to show me how to fix a flat in the future, and recommend tubing types that may work better or my style of mountain biking if the issue continues. He also gave me a discount on a pair of socks simply because I asked for one. Great shop.

Lousy customer service... Definitely steer clear of the owner! Temper temper! Electric bike shop want-a-be without the knowledge to be.Over pressurized tires on one visit, front wheel almost fell off after tire changeon second visit and unable to change out a gear set on this last visit on this last visit, too busy for for a challenge. I wont be going back!

This has been my go-to shop for well over 3 years now. Ive found every member of their staff to be beyond accommodating (Ernie stands out in particular). Id highly recommend a visit to this shop to anyone.

I came to El Camino after another local bike shop forgot to order my parts. I picked up my bike from that particular shop and called 5 other shops in North County looking for the correct part. I finally got a hold of El Camino and they confirmed that they had the part in stock and told me to stop by. My bike was fixed up within a few hours after dropping it off. What a great experience.

I needed a special part that required some time and effort to figure out what I needed. Griffin was most kind and helpful. Even though this is not the closest bike shop to me, I will go the extra mile to go there and support them. Thank you!!!

I had my Trek bike for over a decade when the frame cracked. I purchased it at ECBS and, over the years, have found them very reliable and fair. I shopped their website for a replacement and brought my damaged bike in to the shop to have my add-on parts moved to a new bike. The Mgr stated that Trek frames have a lifetime warranty and he determined that Trek would replace the entire bike free-of-charge, taking full responsibility for the frame failure. Thanks to ECBS and Trek for outstanding customer service!

I went in to buy a few Electra parts because they had them in stock and i will absolutely never purchase here again. The owner (I can only assume he was the owner because anyone else would have been fired) was the rudest man I have ever encountered. The girl behind the counter was a sweetheart, but nothing offsets that kind of treatment by a customer. I also noticed that his prices were about 10% higher than most places I have been. No Thanks.

As these shown personnel on Facebook, I never saw in my times.): ECBS looks to be a bike shop, in that the owner having an additional occupation -- as an attorney. Or related a legal source.As there be said, by google of being 2 owners.When I choose business of (those who own/work in) a bikeshop, its ONLY for the industry/business of bike, service, and/or merchandise.

ECBS goes outside their business. Into MY business -- as I been a steady customer. Asking where I spent MY MONEY. Because I bought my incoming bike, from another. (as if 100% of incoming bikes are to be bought via ECBS only).Becaue I kept my privacy from El Camino Bike Shop. I got kicked out.Whatever.ECBS has too much $$$$; they can afford to lose customers. I DONT CARE.

I have done business with EC Bike Shop for a long time. I took my Cannondale ( classic no it is not a carbon $3000 bike in for tires) I have had my Trek mountain bike worked on by them. The young kid in there put on a spoke for me and when I put the new tires on the intertube blew and when I came back they immediatly thought I pinched the tube, but that was not the case. I put another tube in it, and it blew. So I took off the tire and found the spoke sticking 1/8th of inch through the protective liner so it was a no brainer. Mike told me to bring in the bike on a Monday. The young kid said can I get you your bike back on Friday? I am putting together bikes. So sales are up and customer service is down. I said no, I am going for a ride tomorrow and they did not give me a tube. When the kid said he did not remember this bike, I should have said, go look in your database I told the kid you have lost my business. IF I had crashed because of that spoke, trust me...you would have remembered me.John in Encinitas
