Best experience Ive ever had at a tire/alignment shop! Raul was our salesman and he was excellent. He obviously enjoys his job and his customers. The quality of work was top notch as well. Thank you Raul and the Encinitas Evans Tire crew.

I was greeted and taken care of by Raul - stand up guy very polite and friendly. I went in on a Friday I believe, made an appointment for the very next day and only waited about 2 hrs for the actually process. I would have given it more stars but after new brake pads and rotors my brakes still squeak a lot, like there’s no way a little bit of moisture is the reason they’re still squeaking this much so idk.

Evans tires is outstanding! They have exceptional customer service and very reasonable prices. I have purchased two sets of tires, and had my alignment and breaks done. In the past, I have been assisted by Roger, Raul, and Danny and they are all awesome. I highly recommend.

Very grateful for Raul and Evan’s Tire Service for the quick turn around time and above and beyond service. Took my car into the dealership for regular service and they wanted to charge an outrageous amount for new tires. Got an appointment at Evan’s Tire and got my tires replaced the same day for much cheaper. Raul even followed up to mention he noticed my brakes were looking worn and gave me a reasonable quote.

The gentleman running the front desk was so great! He was able to get my car in as I was driving close by and ran over a screw :/ I was on my way to LA and he made sure I was in and out promptly. Was on the way to the airport to pick up my friend what I noticed I had a flat. Barely made it to Evans and had never been here before, it was just what was closest! Tony, Raul, and Roger initially said they had an hour and a half wait but then they were able to squeeze me in and I was back on the road in 30 minutes! My friend had a beer while she waited So grateful for their friendly attitudes and quick service!

Evans Tire is professional and exceptional in its customer service and auto care. We have taken our cars here for 6 years and prefer it over any other garage.

Very sketchy and unprofessional!I thought I’d give them a try over the bigger tire competitors,But right out of the gate, I wasted a whole day waiting only to find out my tires didn’t come as promised!But I let that go and came back the following day only to find out that my old car supposedly needs a repair done worth more than the car itself. They quoted me $600 for the parts ALONE only for me to find them at the local auto zone for $88!Then after pleading with them over the phone, they agreed to install my auto zone purchased parts but only if I came back that day weirdly enough!Finally, when it came time to pay for the 2 new tires and oil change for $189 so I could go get the parts, Roger the manager couldn’t honor a military discount for some strange reason!To top it all off, they couldn’t even get the mileage right on the oil change sticker (they added 6k not 3k).Needless to say, I didn’t return to have them install the parts.-How could I trust them after ALL that?

My go to! If you get Tony as your service advisor, you are golden! Such great professionalism and knowledge. Went to get tires for my sisters car before her trip up the mountain. Tony recommended Kuhmos tires and was able to get them installed and aligned within a couple of hours. And knowing that I was worried about her safety, his tech test drove it to make sure that everything else was good to go. Definitely recommend Evans Tire, specifically Tony, for any worries you have!

I was called and told my vehicle was finished, that is all I was told, then I asked, is there a cost, then I was told it is a free service.When I arrived, A technician said there is a problem with your vehicle, then he said, chrome rims are nice but they become corroded after years of use, then he said all my tires are leaking air from the rims. Then he said, he scraped off some corrosion off and put something that started with a P on it, Poly something.First, no one called me to tell me about corrosion in my rims, nor did I approve any work on my rims, yet I’m told that work was done.I get home and see a screw in my tire, same front passenger side. I call back and then he tells my oh.yea I can’t fix that because the inside of the rim is corroded. He never mentioned the screw before that. Then he said he did not take off all tires but he told me all tires were leaking air. A bad service experience

Went into hell a tire inflated....had them check the car out. Roger was wonderful…he looked at everything in my file that said it needed attention, in addition to some other things they noticed. Called on a Thursday to have my tires installed Saturday. Called me confirming my tired were in on Friday. Come in Saturday morning to be told, we sold your tires to someone else. Even though they had a unique code made out to my customer account for installation and alignment. The best they could do was make me wait a whole day for service with no discounts offered for inconvenience. Instead called their district supervisor and was able to be serviced by a different location. Which was able to hold the tires and not sell them to someone else. As well this locations management was unprofessional, unqualified, and truly a horrible customer experience. Do not give business to people who are selfish, shady, and downright ignorant of basic business standards.

Be careful with this location if you have nice wheels. I had a flat repaired by Evan’s Tire in Encinitas and they did a good job and took care of me. However, once I left I noticed that the edge of the wheels have paint scraped off in two separate locations from their tools. If you have economy wheels you won’t mind, but if you have nicer wheels I’d recommend a different shop. What was a free flat repair (which was flattering) has become another needed repair that will cost me money to fix.

Excellent service. I took my car in to have the brakes checked. Nothing was wrong with the brakes, but they test drove the car just to make sure everything was safe.

I brought my car in because I had a flat. The guys were great and really spent the time to diagnose the issue which I really appreciated. The reason for only 3 stars is that the next day the hubcap of that same tire fell off while I was driving because it wasnt secured properly.

Grant in San Diego. Grant made an appointment for my tire installation at the Encinitas location. I left my van, all good right? 2 1/2 hours later when my van was ready. I was told they don’t take reservations so basically when I showed up I was 5 or 6th in line for a first come first served situation. Don’t believe anything Grant says. He is either a liar or he doesn’t know what he is talking about. Very frustrating. Had I had known that no reservations are taken. I would have still given Evans my business. Now?? I had to put one star to post this, I wanted to leave 0 stars.

On April 9th, 2021 Evans replaced a damaged tire for $195.10.In doing so, they managed to strip the keyed lug nut that law enforcement contends is one of the best things you can do to protect against theft of wheels. They said that they would replace without charge, and to come back in a week. I did so. I was told that the person who ordered it was out and Id have to wait for him to return. (No one ever ordered it). Additionally, wouldnt you think a tire shop would know how to remove a keyed lug nut?They used an impact, instead of something manual like a breaker arm with the key. When I told them that I would review them, the employees at the desk area laughed out loud. How is that for customer relations?

Gave me a competitive rate to other shops in the area, had the tires in the next morning, installed and aligned by that afternoon, and have free alignment every 5k. Awesome working with them

I’m very pleased with my experience at Evan’s Tires and was offered the buy 2 get 2 free tire special. Everything was shown and explained to me by Tony and he reminded me to come in for a 5,000 mile rotation to prolong the life of the tires. Overall, I was able to get my oil change, back brake pads and tires all done in a few hours and was treated very kindly and respectfully. Definitely will continue as a customer!

Been going to Evans for years but when I had to tow my truck in for brake repairs, guess I was a sitting duck. Diagnosed a broken line that cost me $519 whereas the same repair at Pep Boys was est. at about $300.

Awesome shop. Tire pressure light had come on, came in early and they were able to get me in . Checked tires found nothing wrong, reset alert light . No Charge for checking, in/out in 30 minutes Great management.

I visited the store for a tire rotation and to check the pressure in my tires. The tech did such a thorough job they actually found a nail in my tire and were able to fix it. I highly recommend this shop from the manager Roger down to the individual technicians working in the shop. Great Job Guys!

I had a slow leak in my tire due to it being punctured by a nail. Evans fixed it up quickly with friendly service. Since I got these tires there, it was a free service. The day before I brought it in to a Discount Tire to see what they would say. They told me it was unrepairable and tried to get me to purchase 2 new tires stating that the tread would be uneven. Discount Tire lost my trust and Evens Tire gained a lifelong customer!

I dropped my Truck off at Evans because I thought I had a bad tire.However, Evans charged me an additional $45 because Evans felt that my second tire was not really free and I had to be charged something.Unbelievable; I am not happy with that additional $45 charge!

I’m spoiled, 18 years with Hawthorn Tire in San Marcos,now Escondido. Family run operation. I told them my needs. They laid out the options, always great, and great value too. Evans in the end reach the same goal but with prodding on my part. I stated that I wanted the largest AT tire that would fit my AWD from three brands I preferred. They kept asking what size and I kept responding, you tell me, I don’t know the sizes you can mount. Finally I stated a random size larger than my current tires and they said they had one close to what I suggested. It was my #1 brand and with a 2fer1 promo so really a great solution. Service was awesome and great communication in getting additional brake repairs too. I ended up with high quality tires, pads, and rotors at a reasonable price and service time.

Good price but slow. Due to the delay I wasn’t informed there would be, by the time 2 tires were changed 2 hrs later (would have been 3 if I hadn’t have asked when they’d be done) I was totally stressed about missing a medical appointment, had to rush off and left personal valuables I needed for work. **Highly recommend calling ahead to ask what the wait is.** Would NOT go anywhere around lunchtime. They did call to inform me of the item left behind.
