Everyone in here is very helpful. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance. Went in to do a store pick up and I ended up staying to browse at their store. Small compared to other best buys but they everything I was looking for.

Well my visit here wasnt so pleasant.. my husband had asked an employee by the name of Charlie for some assistance in the audio/portable speaker section and as he walk towards by my husband his reply was yes ill get someone for you and as hes walking away he continued with maybe. We never got the help we needed so we decided to leave. We ended up going to the best buy in Mission Valley and the ppl there we so friendly and helpful, a big, big thanks to Marcos who answered our questions and left happy with our purchase.

I havent received friendly customer service from multiple employees like this in ages! I went to the store this morning to pick up my new microwave, which I ordered on the website. I walked in around opening and the man stationed at the desk by the door asked if I needed help. He directed me customer service to pick up my microwave. He also asked me my last name so he could proactively go get my order while the customer service associate processed my pickup. He was PROACTIVE and friendly! The customer associate was also friendly. She processed my order and by the time she was done the first gentleman had brought out my microwave AND brought along another friendly, strong associate to bring the microwave out to my car. I asked the strong person if he needed help loading my car and he said, Thank you for asking but Ive got it. People who smile, who say please and thank you - AMAZING. THREE OF THEM. 100% of the people I encountered at this store were all about customer service. 5 stars for sure!

Helpful staff, clean store - I did curbside pickup and my order was brought out to me within 2 minutes. I then went in for a screen protector installation and it was completed perfectly within 10 mins.Not sure why the other reviews are so negative.

I have had the worst experience of my life. I spent $1000 on a tv that had a scratch on the screen. I didn’t notice it, because it wasn’t for me. I talked to 4 representatives from Best Buy that told me to go into the store I bought the tv to return it. I am an elite member, which I thought meant something and I wanted to return the tv a few days after the return policy was over. The manager denied me the return even after I drove 2 hours and talked to 4 reps that told me to go there. I told the manager I was going to spend twice that on a new one. I have spent over 10000 there and I would have for sure spent another 10000 in the future. Best Buy has officially just lost another customer. I hope this helps anyone that is thinking of buying electronics. There are other stores like Costco, Target and Amazon that actually care about their customers

Simply awful customer service. You can’t get help in the store placing an order. Then they made me waste a day waiting for the delivery and installation of a $1500 dishwasher that never arrived. I quit Best Buy. It’s by far the Worst Buy I ever made. Never again.

Quality merchandise and qualified associates. Easy peasy shopping. Pick out an item online and go to the store to see it in person. I bought an LG gas dryer here and it was delivered 2 days later. It was installed and the old one removed. Most satisfied.

I normally dont leave reviews and to be honest I havent been into a BB in quite some time. If you are looking for anything home a/v Adam is your go to at this Best Buy and really over any BB in San Diego. I can say I am not sure I have not many people as knowledgeable and helpful as him vs any big box store. Got a solid deal and found out the next day something was missing from and open box item which should have been there. With no questions asked the next day he fixed the situation. I thought I was SOL but they made it right within 2 minutes. Go there, ask for Adam. He wont upsell you, and hell find the best deal and product for your budget.

I went to this store as it reported that the item I wanted was in stock. When I get there I cant find the item. Really hard to find anyone to help you. When I eventually found someone he said they are on the shelf where I had already looked. When I told him the shelf was empty he walked off in that direction. I had no clue if he was helping me or not. He did eventually come back with what I wanted. Managed to ring me up and place the item on the desk all without speaking a single word.

This store has a decent selection of tech products and appliances. The staff is friendly and helpful -- if you can find them. They will price match too, so youre not going to pay more.Open box items are generally a very good deal.One drawback is the short fuse on returns, usually only 2 weeks.

This Best buy is truly the best! we bought several items and returned several items over a couple days and throughout those processes everything was very smooth.Service reps came out of the building to our car and delivered the goods to us. All were wearing masks and were very kind and polite. I would definitely recommend this Best buy location- they do customer service well.

I was unaware that there was such an ink drought currently going on. I was a bit surprised that of all places Best Buy wasnt stocked. So it was a disappointing visit. They do however have a huge selection of electronics ranging from computers, laptops, phones, accessories, T.V.s, GPS systems, all types of appliances, roombas/irobot to name a few. I previously purchased a chromebook, irobot and T.V. at Best Buy. The fact that they have Greek squad services on site is amazing. Ive taken my computers to the Greek squad and even my phone for repair in the wireless phone allotted area. Best Buy is more on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. So, besides the ink shortage, Best Buy has not let me down. If you need any of what I stated Best Buy has to offer defintely check it out!

This is my go-to store for computers, however, they arent answering their phone right now. I let it ring for a long time and someone came along and picked it up and hung up again. Definitely taking them off my list for now.UPDATE-I drove to the store and they were very responsive and responsible about social distancing. I got what I needed in just a few minutes, excellent service. Just plan to not get much support by the phone, at least for now (July, 2020)

Extremely Frustrated - Ive tried calling this store to change the pickup person for my order because I cant do it online. I have tried calling on three different days, at different times of the day (morning, afternoon and evening) and no one picks up. Ive tried all options on the menu, and I can never get through, even after waiting over 10 minutes on hold!!! You guys really need to fix your phone system, or hire more people so the phone can get answered.

Just left Best Buy and was assisted by Sean at the Geek Squad. AMAZING SERVICE!!! It would only be fair and right to have Best Buys employees rewarded for exceptional customer service by giving them a respectable increase of pay for that employee of the month. He did a great job showing me how to understand my software options so that I can move my crypto from on place to another. I was impressed with his expertise and patience. Top of the line service!

Its tough to give the place a complete 5-star review when the staff is efficiently knowledgeable, but then I look at it this way: (1) I do most of my own homework well in advance and come prepared, (2) their prices are close to Amazon, for those wanting to find the best deals (and they often price match), (3) they are convenient to my home, (4) they have a really good selection, and (5) I particularly like their providing a choice of either (a) no interest for a period of time, or (b) cash rewards, when paying for a product. And the best part of all? their 14/15 day Return Policy. It provides an opp to test drive a product, and for me, thats key. Thanks, Best Buy!

Excellent customer service. I have to travel to this location from where I live in San Marcos for great customer service since my local store is so awful. The associates at this store are willing to go above and beyond to help. They are always quick and efficient here yet they never make you feel rushed. I had some specific questions about one of the prepaid carriers and rather than just referring me to their customer service # the associate brought out the cordless phone and offered to call them with me to make things convenient and make sure I got all my questions answered.

The best Best Buy Ive been to. I was looking for a new computer to continue working on clothing designs. I saw online there was an open box tablet at this location. I was helped by a nice young man and when we were checking out he asked what I wanted the computer for. I explained photoshop, in design etc. He told me it wasnt a good device for what i needed and led me to a great desktop. Very happy he helped me. The Lenovo desktop I bought is perfect.

Desktop PC stopped booting due to a failed hard drive, not the primary drive. Took it for evaluation and repair. They returned it 5 days later and when I took it home the D drive they had installed was nowhere to be seen in Windows. Returned it, they had to fool with it and get it to recognize the drive that they should have done before they returned it to me. Sent me home, I plugged it in and immediately had a keyboard failure. Took it back they said they thought it was a bad USB board and they would have to order it. I went to Frys which had it in stock and brought it to them. They then determined that that was not the problem and finally got back to me. I made a total of 5 trips over 5 days and paid $200 to get something done I probably should have done myself

Sure, theres a big blue sign that has the store name, but I have to pretend that Best Buy Encinitas does not exist.As an IT consultant, this Best Buy should be a solid, local resource. Instead it has consistently been a cost center of wasted time and frustration.Ive had problems before, but today was enough for me to say to myself: Best Buy Encinitas does not exist. It just isnt there. Go to Costco or Staples or a 7-11.Heres the timeline:- Friday, a client told me at 4PM that he needed a new computer Monday. I worked there until 8PM and was fully booked with family Saturday. My only time to pick up a PC was Sunday afternoon before the Superbowl.- Sunday, I placed an order at 12:32 for a PC and screen. The checkout said it will be ready for pickup in an hour.- At 1:36, I left the house to get the order- At 1:45, I got a call from Marco (sp?), saying there was a problem with the computer and they didnt have one for me. I asked him for options for other computers and he gave me none, just saying they could get one from another store and have it for me by Monday. I told him I was pulling in and asked him to get the store manager to help me figure something out. He said he was the store manager.- At 1:49, I pulled in. No Marco. Suspecting Marco was pulling the ol Im the manager trick, I asked the door greeter for the manager and said Id be over at Online Order Pickup.- I waited in line at customer service until Jonathan helped me. His nametag said supervisor. He went back and tried to sort things out with Marco. While waiting, I picked out a similar unit, an all in one with similar specs and price.- Marco and Jonathan came up front and confirmed that the PC I originally ordered was not in inventory.- Ringing up the all-in-one, it was over $200 more than the price tag of the display unit it was under. Turns out it was under a display that was out of stock. The unit I grabbed was similar, with no display.- I settled on a Dell that was the same basic specs as the HP I started with, but $150 more.- I checked out and got out of there as fast as I could to get home to prepare my appetizer for the super bowl party I was going to.Heres the rub: at no point did Marco or Jonathan apologize for the inconvenience, much less offer a discount on the unit I found. Marco misrepresented his authority as store manager and did not take responsibility as warehouse manager for the out of stock item or the time it took him to call me and tell me they didnt have it.And, if you think this review is long, I timed it (because Im waiting for my appetizer to cook). It took me less time to type this than I spent in Best Buy, trying to pick up a computer that I had already paid for.Time is money, I will save both in the future by pretending Best Buy Encinitas went out of business.

I just took my laptop to be looked at by Best Buy Geek Squad. I was given one answer over and over again no matter what question I asked and was cut off repeatedly. I asked to speak to someone else because this communication was not working. The employee told me to sit down, I said no thank you, and he turned around and told me again to sit down very rudely. It was disrespectful and I was shocked that it was done in a professional environment. After multiple requests to speak with manager, I finally did. He seemed very unconcerned with the situation and said he would speak with them. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy or use Geek Squad again.

They dont stand behind their product and their service is horrible. I bought a $2500 gaming PC from them. After a month, I had issues so I brought it in to their store for service. They put it under someone elses name and lost my computer so it took me multiple trips to the store to even locate my computer. After that got sorted out and many weeks of repairs, it still had the same issue. I brought it back again and they had to send it out for a new mother board. Many hours of sitting on hold, the manager was absolutely no help at all. She was rude and had no power to do anything. Im still waiting for my computer to arrive. Dont buy anything here.

I was helped by Charles, this guy was so helpful, even though I came in with less than 10 minutes to closing. I showed up in the customer service line and he got through the two people ahead of me quickly and got me out before the store closed. A welcome positive best buy experience.
