My dodge caravan blew up on Tuesday. Wednesday found 2021 sienna on Williams website. Filled out I’m interested and credit app. Within hour don Miller calls worked out numbers and financing within 2 hours. Call my insurance company got policy change over all within a couple of hours. Thursday morning Matt van etten finance guy picks me up I sign and drive. This is my 6th brand new car. This had to be the most easiest smoothest car transaction I’ve experienced. Thanks Matt and don
While traveling from out of town we had an emergency with our brakes. Williams Toyota diagnosed and repaired the car quickly and didnt charge an arm and a leg. The show room and service area is very clean, people were sympathetic and friendly. If we didnt live 9hrs away, this dealership would be our go to place to buy cars.

If you are looking to buy a car in the Elmira corning area, recommend Simons Rockwell for your auto needs. If you need a Honda or a Toyota, recommend visiting Syracuse. We went to the Williams Toyota dealership looking for current deal that Toyota is advertising for a coralla. 3000 down 129 a month lease. The sales person ammediatly said that the closets they would be able to do would maybe 230.00 a month. But more like 270. We told them that didnt make sense that Toyota would advertise a price that you wouldnt be able to come close to. After multiple hours and visits we finally came to a agreement of 189.00 a month. They told use they would run the credit and we would be good to go. About 2 hours later we got a call from the finance manager that unfortunately the credit was not good enough and we would have to settle for 240 a month. We new that he was lying through his teeth because of modern technology and the aid of credit karma there was never a credit app run. So if you like to be treated like an idiot and lied to by all means go with Williams auto group. But Ill be sure to recommend anyone to visit any other dealership.

I went to them to see what I could get as a new vehicle. I had a 92 Oldsmobile and had it for 7 years it was a good car the sales rep looked at my car and just tried to put me in something he would make the most money on. Overall had he gave me a little more respect I might have bought something from them. But seeing how I didnt appear to have money they didnt treat me very well. When I declined his offer he said good luck on finding something better for the price which Im a proud owner of a new vehicle with less miles and 3 thousand less thanks to another dealer who gave me the the respect I deserve.

Four months of cruising classified and third party websites looking at variations of the truck I would ultimately buy, Williams Toyota listed a truck on their inventory that seemed to match everything I was looking for. The listing however only included one stock photo from the manufacturer. Originally planning to drive four hours to check out a different vehicle, I made a call to check on its availability. Turns out the truck was just received as a trade-in from a customer the day before. After a quick back and forth on the phone, I was on the road to Elmira.Dan Sargent, the specialist who received my call, met me at the door fully prepared and enthusiastic; not to sell me a truck, but to get to know me. Granted, I may have been an easy customer, knowing what I wanted, the range of availability and pricing for what I was looking for. However Ive never purchased a vehicle from a dealership.Throughout the entire process he kept things straight. Clearly explaining policies and paperwork that go into purchasing a vehicle for the first time and especially doing so out of state. His correspondence online was prompt and incredibly patient as I had numerous hurdles to work through. I opted to finance through a local bank near me so the majority of our interaction was done online, yet he and I retained a comfortable and personable exchange in person.As for the truck, I received it fully detailed with a half tank of fuel. The drive home was a dream as I expect many, many more miles to come!
Saw a/great deal on website and established contact with salesperson. Made an apt to see car-we were traveling from 2 hrs away-it was that good. Drove all the way/from Syracuse only to be told the car had been sold. Dealer knew we were coming from Syracuse-had our phone number-but they never bothered to text or call to tell us car was gone. We get it that cars are 1st come first serve, but REALLY poor business/customer practice. Seriously peeved that no one bothered to let us know.

My recent experience here was not only frustrating but also shameful and a poor representation of your family of dealerships and the franchise you are representing. I had made an appointment with the service department because my car was having an electrical issue causing it to fully drain the battery every night. I specified that I would need a loaner vehicle as their location is over an hour from my home. I was informed that the first available appointment would be two weeks out. I took the appointment and spent the next two weeks jump starting my car every morning to get to work, and again every afternoon to get home. When I arrived I was informed that they did not in fact have any available loaners. Grudgingly I left the car and walked across the highway to the field and stream to kill some time while they looked at the car. An hour and a half later they called to inform me that they had completed the 5,000 mi service but needed more time to diagnose. They couldnt provide me with a time frame, and still no loaner vehicle. They said I could come back another time for a loaner of I wished, however this was supposed to be that time!! After pointing out the flaw in their logic I decided I would take the vehicle elsewhere. Williams Toyota had my car in their possession for a cumulative one hour and forty five minutes. In that time I was billed for one hour of diagnostics as well as the 5,000 Mike service. I do not believe for a second that they had my car in a lift for anywhere near the hour and a half that I was billed for. I had spent about three years working for a much larger dealership and in all my time I have never experience the shocking disrespect that I did here. I will be taking my vehicle back to the dealership where I used to live and I will be using it as an excuse to visit friends and family. After calling the service manager at my previous Toyota dealer he said I could drop the car any time and that a loaner would be waiting for me. That is customer service.Williams will not be seeing another penny of my money, and I pitty they fool that continues to support them.
Ray Gaul is the man. Dealing with salespeople is the bane of my existence, but Ray was friendly, smart, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping my find the right truck. He answered all my questions (even some I didnt think hed know the answer to, but he did), took his time and never pressured me. On the whole, the dealership is by far the most well-run Ive ever dealt with -- everyone is efficient, friendly, helpful, and most of all just normal folks. I drove 3.5 hours to look at a truck, and I would do it again. I dont know of another dealership that treats people as well.
EXCELLENT service...I showed up a week earlier than my scheduled apointment.. They didnt bat an eye!!. And the service relating to a recall was promptly done at NO charge! and... Customer service to me is the most important aspect of a dealership, communicating with the customer is part of that. I left messages that I would like to speak with the General Manager, nothing was heard. Thus one star.
Would not let me look inside a vehicle without me giving my contact info. Never asked to test drive it. I do not want to be called daily to buy something. His body language was very rude also. Its fine I will take my business to another dealer who wants to make a sale. Even if its far away.
Bought a Toyota Avalon,waited 3months for title and plates.Went back with a vibration in rear,they balanced tires and said it was fine,returned to Binghamton went to tire shop and they showed me all 4 tires scalloped.Just called for an oil change and can’t get me in for 4 days

They try everything they can to get out of warranties. For a big dealership I felt like they scam youworse than a fly by night dealership. Do yourself a favor and go to a different Toyota dealership. Worth the extra drive in the long run
Seem like good people and I appreciate everything they have done to try to fix an ongoing issue with my RAV4. But after they quoted me on something I didnt have to pay for the first time I bought my car in for an issue raised a big concern for me. With this ongoing problem Ive had since a week after buying the car Ive been hearing conflicting things from different members of the sales and service department. Its comical almost and to the point where I feel I have to get my Toyota corporate connections involved which I didnt want to do. Should have listened to my colleagues when they told me not to shop or take my car for service here...
We were impressed by the thoroughness of the car-purchase experience. Williams Toyota and Don Miller took care of all the nuisance details--registration, insurance, inspection--so that there was nothing we had to do except drive the car off the lot...AFTER a lot of education about what our new Prius Prime offered and how to take advantage of its features. Were very happy with our new car and this dealership.

I did a ton of research weeks before I was ready to buy my car and Williams Toyota was my first and subsequently only stop. Before I even arrived the lady who is in charge of the website was super nice and very responsive and when I did arrive (after driving there from Syracuse) the sales manager and in particular my salesman Matt were very polite and honest people. I also want to say that it was really nice that my salesman didnt pester me about car add-ons, when I declined some of them he was really great and didnt argue with me which is my biggest pet-peeve about car shopping, that alone makes me want to come back. I love that I was able to test-drive, purchase, and drive home my car within 3 hours which flew by in no time. I would definitely suggest this dealership, they have great cars, great prices, and great people.

I had a good experience getting the salesman to locate a car and get everything completed in two days but I purchased the vehicle in my company name (tax exempt) and used my dealer tags. Williams Toyota charged me sales tax and registration and just said they were sorry. I paid an exploratory 3,000 and I’m sorry is what I received! Never again will I buy from them or recommend using them.
Most of my experience is with the service dept. And one thing I will say is make sure you can leave your car for the day if you plan to actually have anything completed. I called a week and a half in advance and scheduled an oil change/tire rotation. Worked everything out to drop my car off on time. Never received a call but since they were closing at 7 I went to go get it assuming it was going to be done. They told me they didnt get to it. Whats the point in scheduling an appointment? On to phone calls - dont ever expect one from them. Ask them when they think it will be done and make are you follow up. They say they will call but if there isnt any additional up sell dont expect too much.

Salesman Don was good, but financial guy was a bad experience. Too pushy on selling the coverage that i dont want. I told him at the beginning i dont want any coverage or any warrenty he still kept asking and being very pressure. When i misunderstood him and say yes to this coverage, and ask him to take off this charge 20min later and he told us it was too late even no paper was signed yet. I ask him if he could ask his manager, he said he was the mananger, i feel bad for the company if he is the manager.Its not a big money, but i feel i was being fooled and feeled very pushy. I could turn away and not to get this vehicle since no paper was signed yet, nor the coverage either, but i would feel awful for my salesman Don, because he got his job done right.This is my 4th toyota, 2nd one from williams toyota elmira since 2014, never seen a nasty financial officer like this one before. This would be my last vehicle from them and no more oil change from them for my current 3 toyota and 1 honda.This experience made me feel i am a big idiot.
I took my tundra to get some work done. I spent 2400 for parts and service. One thing were supposed to fix was a tire going flat. As soon as i got there to pick it up i noticed my tire was very soft. So i notified someone in service and back in the shop it went. The tire loosing air was my front passenger. I took it home. As soon as i got home i got out of my truck and noticed a huge dent in in the back of my bed that was not there before. So i drive my truck to work that night and get out and my driver side front tire is extremely soft the one i didnt have a problem with and now my front passenger seems to be fine.
