Nice store with a decent supply of organic products. Everything is a step below nearby stores like Sprouts or Safeway. Half of the staff dont seem to know where anything is. When I was there, no one was qualified to sell me fish at the seafood area and no one knew where the qualified person is or when they would return. Not a smooth operation.

Strongly advise against purchasing any ground turkey or poultry (leg quarters, drumsticks, thighs, white meat) that is labeled to expire in 3 days or less. Those meats have already expired. Weve had to get a refund on such purchases several times after opening the products at home. The stench was overwhelming. Im giving this store 3 stars because their other departments are better.

Love the market. The staff is friendly/helpful. Never have any issues with parking and I prefer this giant more then the one by Rollin road.

This place is garbage. They have no bags and have taken a communist approach in charging for bags. We as a community can solve this by leaving carts over flowing with goods at the counter when they refuse bags. I can promise you i will do that next time and the hour it takes them to put all that back times 20 carts a day they wont be able to keep the doors open.

This supermarket chain is my favorite. Always the best selection of produce, meat, seafood and bakery. I’ve shopped in all locations in Maryland over 35 years, and they are still the Best!!

What can you say? Its a large grocery store chain. Typically a good selection of products but sometimes things disappear from the shelves never to be seen again with no real explanation why. The meat is definitely not top-notch I go other places for that.

Whatever you do dont go to their Bakery.Got a nice bag of bagels there Oh, and not even two days later theres mold all over them what a waste. If thats what their bagels look like, Id hate to see what their other baked good look like after two days. You might as well go to Safeway.

This is not even the first time - the white girl who works at the Customer Service (with light hair color) has been so rude. Seems like she really enjoys talking to people with an attitude, arguing / accusing people of things, as well as making up corporate policies. And among other grocery stores in this area, I feel like this store has the worst customer service (or probably they only treat certain people nicely?). Wont be going back. SMH.

The line and wait for COVID shots were long with too many people in the waiting area. We had to redo the paperwork we had completed in advance after we arrived. After this, we were able to get the first shot. Another Giant we visited for anothers shot got five stars, so it could just be this Giant or maybe they were just having a bad day. Will update in about a week after the second shot if anything changes.

Pretty good GIANT location... usually stocked... the ONLY real COMPLAINT Ive got about this location.... is the BROKEN GLASS DOORS IN THE YOGURT AREA...I DONT LIKE THE THOUGHT THAT MY YOGURT MIGHT NOT BE KEPT AS COLD AS IT SHOULD BE...I MEAN THE DOORS HAVE ONLY BEEN BUSTED OUT FOR A COUPLE MONTHS... On December 29, 2020 @ 7:06am, a white cashier at the self checkout was very rude to me. First of all, she ignored me. I was the only customer at self checkout. Second, I then said “Good Morning” to her twice and the response I received was “ What do you want”! I wasn’t expecting that response. She never did say “Good Morning”. I did not say anything else to her, but next time I will definitely say something to her and the manager. She displayed very poor customer service in my opinion!!! Is it because she saw my black face or is she just RUDE period!!!!!!!! I need to emphasize she’s white and I’m black!

I used there grocery order pick up and O definitely prefer it over Walmart. I received a $25 off coupon since this was my first pick up and also you can still shop the sales and finally you have until 5 am of the day of your order to make changes. At Walmart you have until 1:45am. I do wish there was more outdoor sinage to tell you where to go and park. I parked in the wrong place and also went inside the store which I didnt need to do.

This Giant is AWESOME!!! A great selection of natural and gluten free foods, a nice produce selection and helpful international section if you are looking for the basics. In these stressful times, going to this Giant has been a high point as they have a great staff and are Covid compliant without being alienating.

My favorite place to shop, whoever the manager is here does a great job with the hiring, most places in the area hire people based on other reasons than skills or qualifications, all of the staff here is friendly & works hard, they dont just sit around, thinking because they show up that means they get paid, like the crew at the post offices & Amazon, I would give this Giant a 10 if possible.

Interesting that all the other stores disinfect the carts for you while Giant leaves a spray bottle or wipes (if it didnt run out).Had several occasions that there were no carts. Amazing since they have do many.Also almost nobody seems to follow the arrows, even their own staff.

Bonnie Anderson needs help—she is not black customer-friendly. Always sour, fussing at employees who are late. She needs help!

This Gaint store located at a very convenient location. It is clean and full of choices of different items.

Stopped by the floral dept to get a dish garden for a funeral. I didnt see what I was looking for. The super nice florist, Joanne asked if I needed anything and was quick to make suggestions. She then quickly threw together something amazing. Couldnt have been happier. Above and beyond customer service!!

Plenty of parking and ez access to the store. I just ran in for a couple of items which I found quickly.Check out lines were kinda long but moved quickly.

This is a wonderful store. Everyone is competent and friendly. And I just tried the home delivery adventure. Recommend in-store shopping or home delivery.

I went to this location to grab a gift card and the cashier (Beth) was extremely rude. Also, she would not allow me to enter my alternate ID for my fuel reward points for my purchase. She definitely needs some counseling and customer service training.

This giant is new and wonderful. The restroom is like a private bathroom and luxurious. The only problem going to giant before a ravens game is the people buying chips. They clog the isles with their purple jerseys and the women wear ravens to pretend they like football for their boyfriends. They need to get a grip and be honest that they dont like football. It is ok. It is a stupid sport.

Lanes are crowded with displays so you can’t have distance and they don’t care if you follow the arrows. produce is always rotten. insist you use coupons when you already Have a bonus card what the heck is that about. this giant has a bad case of thinking they’re better than the people it serves. they don’t think they have to work as hard as every other grocery .so i will be shopping elsewhere.

Information that you can buy E-Zpass in the store cannot be considered reliable . For several months, repeated attempts to do this, and in different stores, were not successful .I think it would be right to either completely abandon sales of E-Zpass (so as not to spoil the reputation ) or still make an effort and establish the supply and availability of E-zpass in Giant stores .

This giant is huge & even when crowded, isnt as noticeable b/c size. Average to good prices for area, especially when sales. We buy mostly organic or all natural, & gluten free, & this store has pretty good selection for all. If I could give 4.5 stars I would; 4.5 b/c dont always have everything I usually get every time (for my weekly shopping).

People were running around like chickens with their head cut off and not paying attention to the directional signs so Im not sure what to make of that giant they need to regulate the crowd better people are going to get sick from covid-19 what their food was nice and their customer service of their staff was excellent probably not the staffs fault that the customers were nutjobs

I like this Giant. They a great choice of products from organic to gluten free all the way to your favorite junk foods candy, chips. I go to this location because they have the best salad bar that gives you the best choices. They have fresh greens and arent all brown and wilted. They even have the best banana pudding. The staff here is very friendly and nice helpful. I highly recommend this place.

The store was a disaster. I walked on and there were NO carts anywhere. That should have been my cue to leave. Unfortunately, l tried to shop. There were more employees in the aisles than at the checkout. Every checkout lane had at least 6 large carts waiting, and self serve line was 12 to 15 people long. Put my goods back and left

Great, as always! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, safety measures apparent!

The best part of shopping here for groceries is the hand held scanners that are there. You scan the items just like you would at the register. Then you bag it as your shopping. Once you are done shopping you got the button that says finished and scan the barcode it gives at the register. Once you do that then all that is left is paying and leaving. Very fast and efficient. Plus you can use the self checkout or the 10 items or less lane because you only have to scan the scanner.

So with the current epidemic the store has arrows to direct which way to go to keep people safe, that’s all fine and well, but it’s not enforced and I haven’t even seen a single employee follow the arrows either. Ever other isle I went down there was an employee walking the wrong way. So if the employs don’t follow the arrows, why would anyone else. Lost my business

Huge store with great variety of food products...including those hard to find items. Prices are moderate but they have phenomenal sales. Worth the trip!

This is my favorite grocery store in the area! Great prices for good quality products! They have an excellent selection of international/exotic, organic and gluten free items, too. Staff is friendly, restrooms are clean, pharmacy is quick, and check-out is also pretty speedy. We drive out of our way just to go to this grocery store regularly. Highly recommend!

I chose this one in ellicott city because it has more of a selection based on produce size than the one in owings mills even though owings mills is closer to me and newer.

Favorite big grocer. Some local produce; produceis typically fresh. Also sometimes has local farm meats. Great selection and good prices.

Nice open store, aisles not crowded together and last month have directional arrows on the floor for Covid safety.

I shop at Giant to get those hard to find items. The store is very clean. The meat always looks fresh. The shelves are well stocked, also.

They have a lot of things and their organic selection is good.

More expensive than Safeway at Long Gate on many things. Their meat is vacuum packed like Aldi. Wasnt impressed with customer service. Went to Safeway and got a better deal on fresh cut porterhouse steak.

The fruits and vegetables always seem fresh here. The staff are helpful and easy to find in the store. The layout is a little wonky, but the store is spacious and doesnt feel crowded even when it pretty crowded. Its a great store and I am so glad its in this location.

I go to this particular Giant as it is close to where I live. I shopped at Giant at another location before I moved to Ellicott City two years ago. I like this Giant and the quality of the items that I can get there. The one thing I would suggest is that they have some benches/chairs at some areas of the store (i.e. the Deli area, etc.) so that us elderly people can sit for a while. They have an excellent pastry area and produce and Deli and Seafood area. The staff are nice and the checkout people are always eager to assist you with your groceries.

I am a very satisfied customer with your deli department, I am a frequent customer and I have noticed a new employee in the deli department who was very friendly and upbeat. She had a smile on her face and was able to inform me about the deli meats and other sides to compliment what I was already purchasing. She also was very quick with getting everything I needed. I have noticed the change that she makes to the deli and I know it is hard working in customer service but her attitude was amazing and she brightened my day to see that there are still employees that work in customer service and have such a great attitude and pride in there job. A well stocked experience in every turn.

This is the second time I shopped in the store and I will return. A cashier named Jeff run after me in the parking lot to correct his error ( he did not used the coupons for the grapes and butter) He was very professional and polite. I noticed employees stopped to greed the costumers.I ask the deli lady for olives, she called her boss who went in the back and brought out olives. KUDOS Giant staff!!!

Super convenient location and much more updated then the previous location. Very nice selection overall throughout the store. Pricing is a little elevated but you can find some good deals weekly. I really like the beef offerings around the holidays... whether it be prime rib or steak. I havent ever received customer service here and it can be difficult to find some items at times. It would be nice to have handbaskets or carts throughout the store so you dont have to go up front to get one if needed. The loyalty program is just OK.

Practically no straight forward pricing. Prices are so confusing and very misleading. They have so many buy 1 get 1 frees and from my experience very few if any ring up that way when you go to pay. We have the store card and still not honored. I read the fine print and follow instructions but still dont get the discount. Simplify the pricing and it would be a much more enjoyable experience instead of me pulling out my calculator and figuring out what the price actually is.

Standard supermarket. Prices--especially if you check their adverts and shop sales--are better than most. Worth checking out if youre flexible on where you get groceries. Parking can get a bit crazy with the Home Depot next door.

This is a nice big Giant store with food of all sorts. A good place to go when peckish.

This Giant is always clean and the customer service was good.

We shop at this store often because it is convenient to us; however, lately we seem to have to return food far too often. There has been several instances when we opened a package of fresh meat right after or the next day after purchasing it, and the meat had a horrible smell. It happened a couple of times with the store brand chicken and the store brand ground beef. Same issue with a bucket of chicken livers. We also often have to bring back boxes of arugula lettuce, like today, the lettuce was wilted, sloppily shoved in the box, and smelled like rotten grass. This has happened way too much, and we started purchasing all our produces at Sprouts, where it seems to be much fresher, and cheaper.

The employees at this store do not practice the social distance that put the community in danger. The store manager should be personally held responsible in civil and criminal courts.

Good store they have about anything you might need in the way of groceries.

My home shopping store. Customer accommodating. Majority of staff is friendly, professional, and courteous. Every now and then you get a bad apple.

Good food selection. Friendly staff. Some good cashiers but also some idiot baggers mixed in, who roll soft fruit down the conveyor belt like they are bowling and bounce it into the bag like a basketball. Still, at least they still have people, in addition to the self checkout machines, and their fruit selection is worth a look when the store closer to my house is trying to sell worse produce.

This Giant Food just moved to a different building in the same development. Freshened up the look and I feel that the employees are also more friendly. Bright and clean when i have gone, what you would expect in a grocery I expect. Parking lot can sometimes get hectic due to close proximity with Home Depot, but usually not too bad.

Florist lady was extremely helpful. She noticed I was walking away with a bouquet and offered to spruce it up. It turned out to be so much more beautiful because of her presentation
