This is a clean and well stocked store. I have a suggestion for the bakery. I come there to get bagels on weekend mornings. Unfortunately, the other Safeway stores in the area usually only sell day old (or linger) bagels in the weekends. This store usually has them, but they are always over baked - almost burned. Just a suggestion - a little less time in the oven will produce a better product!

I needed a set of boutonnieres and corsages for prom this year, and Maria Hourihan from the floral department was extremely helpful in this process! I have never purchased either item before, so she guided me through the process and gave great suggestions for what colors and styles I should go with based on the outfits. She handmade the items and they were ready right on time for when I needed them! They looked beautiful and I couldnt be happier with how they came out. August 26th 2021 12:35pm, its lunch time, so I stopped by to grab few fire cracker chicken sandwiches, this older white lady at the deli said she has none & nothing ready to prepare, and I should come in the morning!!!That look on her face, I bet she wouldve told me to wait few minutes if I was white or black!!!Either way, shes getting paid & refused to do fulfill her responsibilities for her employer. Employer just lost $20 sale!

This is my preferred place to shop, particularly during COVID they had good protocols.

Good selection, but seriously lacking in the produce department. Lots of moldy and sad looking fruits and veggies.

They had my fav large red grapefruits on sale just when I needed them to be.

Cherries on sale J4U price for $1.48 lb but produce guy said they didnt get a delivery on time do told me to get a rain check. Customer service told me she can give me the rain check but it will have regular price instead of J4U price which I clicked the item on line before I went to the store. Whats sense of getting a rain check if it has regular price? I guess they dont know the definition of rain check.

Decent selection. I personally think the meat prices are a bit expensive compared to other grocery stores. Frustrating self check out, the machines error out frequently and the associates watching them have a tendancy to wander off. On one occasion, the associate watching the self checkout registers was very aggressive when the machine errored out over a bag that was too heavy and the manager had to get involved.

Less organics than a year ago but I am sure that suits some people just fine. I almost always find something in meats or frozen on sale. The self check out is usually a breeze

Small Safeway that is not too big but enough to get the items you need.

Its always good when you go to this location and what you need is always on the shelf, its clean, theres always BOGO, and member specials.Most of all - I ALWAYS GET A GREAT PARKING SPACE!

It is very good place to shop. But the shopping carts are not close to the store entrance.

This store is usually more well stocked than the Giant down the road. Also, I have never had an issue quickly checking out. The self checkout is staffed, and the lines werent long. Ive only been about 8ish visits, but Ive started driving the extra 2 minutes.

I like this grocery store because of the online coupons and the points you earn to get discount gas.

Valentine’s Day flowers are special in our home. In the floral department, manager Reyes made my experience very enjoyable with her enthusiasm and tasteful arrangement she provided. Definitely following up with her for future floral holidays.

Ive been quite pleased with this location, except one thing Ive experienced repeatedly, which is the quality of fried chicken from deli section. Why is it getting worse & worse? Meat is lie hard rubber every time, skin is hard crusty & oily like if they refried cold fried chicken to resell... I found other safeway are much better this this location.

Reyes, the floral department manager, provided amazing service and created beautiful floral arrangements for our family! Her friendly personality always makes us feel welcome. We will be back!

Great shopping experience for folks with food sensitivities. Fresh fruits and veggies with lots of package options for specialty items.

Pretty standard as far as a grocery store goes, limited selection compared to giant and others, but relatively decent. found most of what i needed. checkout lanes were ridiculous so used self checkout. don’t know why this store is so popular when it is really pretty subpar.

Sadly falling apart quality-wise. A bag of carrots I bought was slimy and rotten, stuffed mushrooms was expired, other fresh vegetables damaged and picked over. Self check out stations are first generation and require interaction from customer service too often.

The black girl at the Starbucks kiosk in the mornings was super rude today. Totally unecessary!

Every time I had to go here they seemed to be fully stocked up. There was hardly a crowd, which is a plus for me(Crowds give me anxiety). Employees seemed okay.

Always satisfied shopping here. Steamed Shrimps are very good!

Their pick up and go service is terrible. Will never use it again. I always knew Giant was better. I should have gone anywhere but Safeway. Beware of their service. To them, you are always wrong and they are going to take you for all they can.

Safeway was clean and well organized. They dont sanitize the carts and people definitely dont follow the arrows that show the directions that you should follow for each aisle. People definitely do not social distance here. If you still unsure about going because of the virus dont. Everyone was wearing a mask though. Watch when you pick something up to check the prices. I had 2 items that rang up higher then what was posted on the shelf and was shocked to see a much higher price. Other then that it was an ok experience.

Went there to purchase advertised lobster claws, was told they didnt have them and were not getting any.This is the 3rd.time this has happened (different products) BAIT AND SWITCH!

I like this Safeway better than the one at Long-gate Shopping Center as this one is better stocked and cleaner. The one at Long-gate is a total mess, bathrooms smell terrible, and its always slim pickings on weekends.

This is my favorite Safeway customer service is great, the store is always clean and the produce is very fresh. They have a good amount of organic options.

This Safeway check out was atrocious. Shopping at 2pm on a Tuesday you dont expect to wait for 30 minutes to check out. Apparently, the customer ahead of me received a cold reply.from the manager when asked if they could open another line. Wont return to this store anytime.soon.

Love our local Safeway. Convenient. Plenty of free parking. Staff is very friendly (especially the folks at the florist shop and the deli counter). Always well stocked. Lines are usually not too bad unless you go on a weekend (but, you kind of expect that). There are a lot of other grocery choices around us. But, we keep coming back here because it gives us everything we need.

Clean place, but not actually open to midnight unlike they state online. Tried a few different times at after 10pm and it was closed. No hours posted on their door so I really have no idea when they close.

I typically only use Safeway for convenience, as their prices do not compete with Wegman’s or Costco for the bulk of our needs. However, I’ve solely relied on this location since the pandemic started and love the 6 am opening time. The early morning staff has been fantastic. I’ve wanted to leave comments commending their performance for a couple of weeks, but as with most reviews it took irritation to really prompt one. First, Safeway added plexiglass to “protect” their workers. The idea of creating a barrier to prevent customers from basically spitting (and we all know people do this!) on their employees is commendable. Unfortunately, the construction is basically useless. It is so small, it creates ZERO barrier in between the employee and the payment terminal. Why did they bother at all? My second complaint regards the consistency of employees wearing masks. Instead of arriving at the opening of the store, I made a 10:30 am visit. Immediately noticed an employee, a young man remove his mask to speak to another employee near the front of the store. As I moved to the produce section, I saw a young lady, also an employee, remove her mask to take a personal phone call, as she was working directly with the produce! Her behavior was corrected by a fellow employee, but ugh!!! NONE of us WANT to wear masks! But we especially don’t want spittle droplets spread all over the produce. And WE ALL WANT to play on our phones 24/7, but I don’t want to pay higher prices for employees to get paid for playing.

I have always enjoyed stopping in to a Safeway store because of how theyre designed. Its very logical. This one is no different. They have a great selection here and the staff is very friendly. Whoever does their announcements in store is very clever and entertaining. Prices are comparable to most grocery stores in the area. Id venture to say theyre a little on the high side, but Im not one to quarrel over a few bucks. I will likely return in the future many times.

During Covid-19 I seek out stores with reduced crowds, and clear social distance signage. The cashiers are friendly. The store is super clean with covered keypad, handsannitizer for check check out.

This Safeway has every convenience of a modern grocery store. It offers a robust floral department, prepped vegetables, seasoned meats, an onsite bakery, and even a Starbucks. The parking is great, with ample spaces within reasonable walking distance from the door.

Expensive is the best way to describe the thoughts as I walk through and take in the pricing.

I used to love shopping here, but the last couple months, no matter the time of day, theres 2 cashiers open, with one being express, and the line backs up quickly. Today I said, whatever Ill do the self checkout even though I had a cart full. Barely any bags and ran out towards the end of my purchase. Not coming back unless I need 1 thing. The lack of cashiers seriously sucks.

Been coming to this place all my life and man this place has all you need for food they have a deli and plus a great Starbucks inside. This place is great and Im glad its been so close for all these years. Checkout is a breeze so even coming on for small trips is easy and quick

We were completely ignored in the cake aisle. Tomorrow is my birthday...Ive had a really tough year and my husband is trying to help everything (i understand he doesnt know that but thats where exemplary customer service would come into play). But someone else came over and he helped them and boxed up their cake while we stood there waiting....being ignored. So we exited stage left without ordering or buying anything.

Its great, you can find everything that you want I especially love the flower sections all of them are so beautiful for gifts my only problem is that a lot of things are slightly overpriced and they seem to have a lack of employees but I guess that is not their fault otherwise it is great I also love their bakery too

Good bakery. Good produce. Sometimes difficult to find gluten-free and vegan specialty products. In store Starbucks. Prices are less expensive than some neighboring grocers, but more expensive than others. Clean store, helpful staff.

A clean, well lit, organized store with good hours but high prices. Some of their sales tags arent accurate. For instance I bought almonds supposedly buy 1 get 1 free and was charged full price.In addition, the old hag who works the register at night is always rude no matter how friendly you are to her. You have an easy job you ungrateful, shrivelled up shrew. Count your blessings and treat your customers with respect.

Pharmacy so so bad . I’m korean. I feel they ignore Asian. When I pick up medicine, I feel rude attitude from them. For example, I say Hi she say Date of birth....? I already hear that this pharmacy so crazy. It’s my mistake to forgot that. Even though paying more, I go to another pharmacy. Aug 02 day time one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician two ladies in there. Both so bad

Its a larger grocery store with quite a few fresher offerings. Their produce always seems to be a little more fresh than other stores in the area. Having a Starbucks inside also helps on those Sunday morning trips.

Good selection if items, including some ethnic ingredients. Usually have very good produce. The meat/seafood butcher is always very helpful. Staff is friendly, Ive only ever had a problem wth 2 of the workers (one slow, one flirty). Everyone else is great.

We shop here all the time. Prices are sometimes a little higher, but much of that can be reduced if you sign up for the frequent buyers program, the costs go down considerably, and you get cost savings on gasoline. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Average grocery store. Has most of what you want, probably all that you really need. Checkout lines are understaffed and very slow. You may expect to spend the same amount of time shopping as you do trying to pay for what you want. The fresh fish are generally ok, though I did ask the fishmonger if they ever carried bluefish and was told no, before asking who would want it anyway when you can catch it in any pond (maybe he thought blue gill? I was talking about blue fish, the delicious pelagic fish found all over the Atlantic ocean). I prefer to get fish elsewhere as the salmon is fresher in other stores, but for canned goods or packaged foods, this Safeway will be fine.

Just did the online grocery delivery. Giving it a 10+ All the produce, vegetables and meats, etc. were in perfect condition. I couldnt have done better myself. What a time saver. Great service and online deals.

Four stars because it can be pricey. However, the flowers and fresh bread cant be beat, anywhere in town. The store is clean, thanks to the help of a speedy red-headed courtesy clerk. Just dont go around spilling stuff, or his Mama will come after you ;)
