Not sure what the hype is on these bagels. Thought it was so-so.

Be careful when you are making your transactions with your credit card with this location . I purchased an onion bagel and they charged to the credit card $6.54 . The onion bagel cost about $1.50 . This bagel is not toasted or applied any butter or cream cheese. Only mistake I did was did not ask/ take the receipt. I think they did this intentionally. So be care full and take receipt and watch how much they charged against the purchase to the card.

This is a decent coffee place, but I highly recommend you order your coffee in advance from the app and select to go inside to get it. If not you can potentially have a long wait. A few times my order was messed up, but they fixed it quickly. No matter how busy they are I haven’t seen employees be rude. The bagels are amazing on mornings when you just want some carbs. Pro tip- sign up for their rewards, they are one of the best.

First time stopping here this morning. I’ve driven by countless times but always on the weekend when the line is super long. Figured a Monday would be better.Ordered a Farmhouse. Got to the window and paid, then the guy tells me they’re out of the hash brown bagels. No biggie, I asked for the jalapeño bacon bagel instead which was fine.Got the bag after about three minutes and drive off. Took a bite and not impressed at all. They gave me the jalapeño bacon bagel I think? Didn’t look anything like the picture online so I’m not sure. So the bite didn’t taste like what I thought I was ordering at all. I opened it up and there were diced jalapeños in some kind of spread, definitely didn’t appear to be the country pepper. There was two half pieces of bacon, no ham, and because it wasn’t hot at all the cheese didn’t melt. It wasn’t cheddar, it was American. I am not a fan of American cheese at all.Maybe I got someone else’s order? I don’t know. I know that for $7+ I expected more. Even if I did get someone else’s order, I’m not sure if it’s normal for one piece of bacon on a sandwich. I don’t think I’ll be stopping by again.The two stars is because the guy who took my money was nice, and working a drive thru sucks.

My friend and I went there the other day and were quite disappointed in every aspect. First the ceiling was leaking, then we went to dine outdoors and there was a dead mouse on the ground right outside the door. Once we sat down, my order was not correct and even after getting a second one redone, it was still not correct. We sat and talked for 2 hours and it was at least 1 hour from one employee seeing the mouse to another finally coming and removing it. We were so disappointed as we truly wanted to enjoy ourselves and typically love Einsteins but everything about the experience was awful.

Waited a very long time, 30+ mins, in the drive thru for one cup of coffee that they then got wrong. They remade it for me but I should have left after 10 mins. Never going back

I ordered a everything bagel online with a coffee. Waited on a busy Saturday morning but couldnt find my order after 15 minutes. Waited another 10 minutes before asking where my order was and they said it already went out. Either someone stole my order or the order was lost. Nevertheless the everything bagel was a bit salty for my taste. Maybe ill come next time and give them another shot

It was my favorite breakfast place. I went there again this morning, staff asked us a weird question and then messed up my order with different bagels. I asked two cups of coffee, got two paper cups, but I was charged with 3. By the way, all bagels were not fully roasted. It now is a place I don’t want to come back again.

These people NEVER answer their phone when you call to check their never ending out of stock items but only when youve ordered and spent your money will they let you know that everything you just ordered is out of stock. Drive a little further to THB in Columbia and you will be much happier and will actually get the food you ordered.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst place ever to order from. Placed an order via their app for pickup on Mother’s Day, waited in line for over an hour waiting for food that was absolutely not worth it. It was cold ! Like it had been sitting there the whole time ! Then they forgot part of my order and when I called to inquire about it stated they could only do something if I come back. Unprofessional, disgusting food, will never be going back here and I’m leaving this review so no one else wastes their money.

I went against my better judgement (and the reviews) because I’ve had some great bagels from other locations. Spent upwards of half an hour in the drivethru. I had nowhere to be so not the biggest deal. They were out of everything and they do not serve sweetened iced tea. So I paid $9 for a very salty sandwich (the cheese wasn’t even melted) and some vaguely tea flavored water. Sorry guys, this isn’t it.

I love the bagels from this place, especially the Farmhouse sandwich. The only bad thing about this location is the horrible bathroom that definitely need a renovation, and possibly more tables for outdoors eating.

Could barely see the cream cheese on our bagels. Couldnt taste it. I guess with take out only, who cares about customer satisfaction. Weve been loyal customers at this location for years. Its gone downhill.

Really like this place after my workout. Gets chaotic some mornings though and quality drops. Today the Lox was perfect!!!

The only thing lacking in my opinion is the drive thru wait time. Food is always good, employees are always nice. But whether it’s 5 cars or 1 car in the drive thru, in my experience, it takes wayyyy too long. Every time I go there’s always someone leaving the line because it’s taking too long. I waited for 30 minutes in the drive thru this morning. I always see the employees rushing around and working together so I’m confused as to why this is always an issue.

I highly recommend using the mobile app for ordering though.

Im done with EinsteinBagels I have hesitated to leave this review it the hope they would get better.Yeah that has not happened they have only gotten worse!!!!ALL I ASK FOR IS A TOASTED BAGEL WITH CREAMCHEESE !!Einstein Bagels has been unable to provide that for me the last 5 visits.I always get a bagel that has not been toasted and has little to no cream cheese.Guess thats my fault for going thru the drive through..........oh wait last two times I went inside thinking maybe they would get my order right..........that did not happen !!!

I have been here couple times by drive through. They forget to give me the side of chips from my order TWICE!! Not one person, two different people forgot. Make sure you have everything before you leave LOL. Food is okay in general, drive through flow is slow.

I would give zero stars if I could. This place just gets increasingly worse. Seems as though they never have enough staff and half the staff is either rude or incompetent. They were messing up my regular order on average once a week and one day the girl MAKING my coffee handed me a COLD coffee-meaning I don’t think she added In the hot coffee. She must have been under the influence of something because you could feel the cup was stone cold when she handed it to me. Wait lines are atrocious for such abysmal customer service and overpriced food which leaves a lot to be desired. Don’t waste your money or time.

I had the worst customer service experience at this location. I wish you could rate a zero. I was paying for my meal when the cashier Lidia forget to scan my phone for my points. When I asked her if I could still get my points she said no I could just get a $1 off my next coffee. So I asked to speak to a manager who could assist with receiving my points that Lidia had forgotten. Lidia explained that the manager is in the red shirt and she went to wait on the next customer without informing her manager of my request. So another customer who was having an issue with Lidia informed me that the manager name was Mark. So i called out for Mark who looked at me and rolled his eyes twice never acknowledging me. Luckily Marion was there to help me with getting my points. Marion is very helpful! Lidia continued to say and mouth very disrespectful actions and words towards me and called me a liar multiple times. Mark the manager watched and listened to the whole situation without saying a word. Other customers in the store was also shocked that Mark would allow his employees to carry on in such a way. Mark only words to me was you got your points right, so whats the big deal. I still cant believe Mark is a manger and Lidia was a customer service employee. I have never had such a rude experience like this before. The only employee there worth keeping is Marion, other then that Einstein should really think about doing a re-hire of the staff.

Nice place to eat and get a little snack. The people were friendly, the food was good. Prices for all but their staple products are a little high... That is, prices for their bagels and sandwiches seem reasonable, but not buying drinks.

They have quick service, high quality food items, which are always fresh. I make special trips just for bagel dogs - bagel dough is nice and chewy and the hot dogs are lean and not greasy. The walnut streudel are enough to blow a diet. Relax and enjoy.

Had a bagel yesterday morning just for a quick bite. It was the French toast bagel with almond cream cheese. It came out dry. It practically didnt have any cream cheese on it at all. Had to send it back. For nearly $4 dollars it was a sad joke. They cant even get this right. Never again.

We’ve been regular customers as this place since going to “the bagel place” is a weekend morning highlight and now almost a ritual for our 2-year old. Since the COVID-19 restrictions, we’ve downloaded their app and followed their instructions to pickup curbside as we don’t want to risk ourselves and especially our little one by going in the store. The curbside pickup worked as advertised for a few weeks, but for the last couple of weeks we’ve waited outside for 30-mins or so (after allowing 15-20min for the order to get ready before arriving at the pickup spot) while our order sat on table inside the shop even though the girl at checkout had seen us a couple of times through the door. Having to go inside again risking COVID-19 exposure (there is no 6-ft social distancing inside with people coming in for in-store pickup), I expressed to the girl at the checkout my concern and long wait despite ordering curbside and the order being ready and just sitting there. The girl was really rude and instead of apologizing, taunted to go drive through or plan to come in the store for future curbside orders. So, this was our last, order here (and perhaps at Einstein) and instead we’ll be taking our loyalty/ business to another local bagel place. It is unfortunate that the bad behavior and attitude of one person who doesn’t do her job has lost them a customer (and perhaps our neighbors and friends) since most of the other staffs had been nice and polite so far.

I didnt like that they didnt butter n cream cheese both sides of the bagel. They only do one side and then put the bagel together. I like eating my bagel sides separately. If thats how they do it they should ask which way you prefer it.

Its a standard Einsteins. The service was reasonable but there was some wait time. It also could have been cleaner. The bagels were fresh and good.

Got a chorizo sunrise, got home, found out they forgot the chorizo. Tried calling to see if i could swap it back and got no answer. The food is ok, but not exactly the best experience. Hopefully this was an odd occurrence, but it isnt the first time they have forgotten something from my order, so i doubt it.

A good place to stop for a cup of coffee and a bagel. The lines can be long at times during breakfast and lunch hour so you may have a little wait. I really like their fresh bagels.

My Einstein is always packed and lively. I just learned they have top shelf bagels. Always great food.

They never have everything bagels after like 1:30. Like 3 times this has happened. Who doesn’t make enough everything’s. Go to Bagel Bin. They always have enough.

Quality food. Often crowded in breakfast and lunch periods. Not handicapped friendly in the store facility. Update: A recent visit- the food quality was poor. A spinach, mushroom, swiss on plain bagel was dripping with grease literally and the egg was crisp like a chip. The drive through neglected to give napkins and no bill or credit card charge receipt. Service quality was poor. Complained to main office and waiting for a response. Even after more than a month, no response from either the mail office or the local store. Based on my experience, poor food, poor service and zero response to customer complaints. One star.

Consistent coffee, great breakfast. Usually packed with loyal regulars. Weekends can be hectic but its good.

I was happy with my visit here. I thought the service was efficient and the food looked good; there are a variety of bagels as well as some delicious and fresh looking pastries and desserts. I only had the coffee, which was great. They were constantly making a fresh pot and you could get free refills. I used my own mug and took some to go after my meeting. It was very warm inside, and a little on the crowded side. The bathroom was a bit cramped. Overall I liked it and would definitely go back.

The service was incredibly fast! They really have a speedy assembly line for the orders. The farmhouse bagel was delicious.

Tried this location for the first time. The service was fast and easy. Used a promotional coupon for sandwiches. Tried the new super Nova salmon sandwich although I substituted smoked salmon smear instead of the onion to enhance the fresh salmon on the sandwich. Used the BOGO coupon or the sandwich would have been quite expensive. But overall a good place if your into bagels for breakfast and lunch.

Im giving a 5 star because for me if my experience wasnt negative a five star is deserved. Its too easy to give every place a 3&4 star, but then the business looks bad and loses customers.The spinach&artichoke chicken sandwich was fantastic. Sometimes places give you dry chicken as an after thought but the sandwich was great.Food was great, The only thing that I can say negative was one employee didnt care much and the other woman made me feel right at home.Ill be back!

Ive been going here for years, but im guessing the management has recently changed because the service has fallen. More people were standing around waiting for orders than i have ever seen, and I waited at least 25 minutes (9:45 on a Saturday morning) for one breakfast sandwich before canceling my order and leaving, Seriously short-staffed and i wont be coming back any time soon.

I’ll never return. I go there every time and I order same exact thing but it never been right once . Staff very rude and they don’t care. This time When i order ovacado toast as always and I state it that I have allergy so please do not season my avocado toast and add cream cheese. I went to the cashier to pay she was very rude and when I got my food it was only avocado toast and it was seasoned. I went back to the cashier told her that is not what I order. She was rude and starting yelling at me oh that’s how’s the avocado toast and other thing. At the end she ask if i want them to make it again or i want to take it like that and I told her clearly that I have allergy but she didn’t even bother. After making right order for me I have sit for 20 min no body let me know that my order ready they just left it on corner till my boyfriend go ask them if it is my order. Such poor customer service this place deserves zero star.

Love, love Einstein’s bagels. However, this place is in need of a good cleaning. Very rarely do they wipe tables and the glass doors and windows are very dirty. I’m here on a Monday morning and these windows haven’t been washed in days, Fingerprints and smears everywhere.

Quality of staff is inconsistent. Half the time the food is good, the other half you dont get what you ordered. Very long lines, too, so be prepared to wait. Ive visited many different locations and enjoy the quality of the food; it seems to be only this location that lacks consistency.

Good bagels, good service (although not super friendly), plenty of places to sit, the dining area was clean but the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. Plenty of parking. I would go back if I am in the area. Ended up here bc the tiny little starbucks across the road was packed and had almost zero seating. I would go here before Starbucks - it is nice and large. Dont know why theyre making the Starbucks so tiny anymore buf this place is a better option IMO.

I ordered the Sante Fe egg white sandwich and it was really good! The only complaint I have is it was very loud in there and you couldnt hear when they called your name. When I did realize they were calling me, the one lady was rude towards me because I didnt respond right away. I couldnt hear her over the noise so the one younger girl apologized for her.

Ive been going to this place for years. They have great bagels and good desert-like foods. The service speed however leaves something to be desired. There is always a line that takes at least 5 minutes to get through. Its not a difficult problem to fix so I dont know why its still an issue.

Went to the drive thru this morning and ordered 2 bagels. Waited almost 15 minutes just at the drive thru window alone (not the line, just at the window) before getting my food. I got no explanation on the delay. I suspect they did not start on my order until I had already been at the window for 10 minutes because the woman asked me how many bagels I ordered and then proceeded to tell someone that. I don’t know who’s fault it was, but I am not going back. Goodness. TWO BAGELS!!!

The line is always long and you have to wait for your food. Not a great place if you are in a hurry. They messed up my order badly. Double check your order if its togo. Food is great. Wish they could move the line faster.

Needed a quick sandwich. First thing I noticed was the unpleasant smell in the vestibule which carries into the restaurant. This place is not clean. Smells like an old KFC that needs to have the fryer grease changed. This place Hasnt been cleaned thoroughly in a long time. If I hadnt been so hungry I would have left. Sandwich was good. This place is awful. I sat at the order board for 5 minutes before they took my order. They kept saying please hold every few minutes. I probably should have just left but inwabtes breakfast. I asked if they were ready to take my order get after 5 minutes and was answered with a rude.... Ill tell you when Im ready. will definitely never go back.

What is happening with this place? Today I was in and all windows were dark and without ads. I thought EB is closed for Good and out of business. It was open. No customers. Typically there is a dozen of retired people inside (see explanation further why elder people visit this place). Got a sandwich and hot drink. Shelves with bagels were 90% empty. Place with milk was all empty with exception of highly allergic hazelnut milk jar.Sandwiches are healthier here than in other chains (good white turkey, and novalux sandwiches with rather good quality salmon). That is it. Extras are overpriced.I wish this place add other healthy food and advertise it. For example organic, preferably USDA certified turkey without hormones, grassfed without pesticite, fed without by-products.Second example- all breadery and bakery- why not to start ad and sell all bagelsmade on organic, bleach free flour, without palm oil or any animal fat ( best grapeseed oil, and only some sweets on organic regular butter?Everywhere in US, blood vessels buildups, cholesterol and heart failures are number one death, cancer (and mainly due to contamination from bad food) is another, and majority of US eatery still have food made from commercial products causing all of the above. Tell me places in wealthy Ellicott City, where it is not dangerous to eat? Ok, maybe WH, root market or Davids cafes. Almost everywhere elsething are highly commercial and dangerous. Off course, healthy product are more expensive, so they must come with hefty ad/poster to make them sellable, but all windows of EB are empty (have a lot of space). I wrote this here bcs fell this place has some hope to shift to a healthier food. Chains- none.

I love their cheesy bacon club. We have lunch here at least once a month. Fast service goid food. Buttery Caramel coffee is delicious also.

I come here every week with my friends. When we order with no spread its not cut, when it is cut it is cut uneven. When we did get spread we found a hair in it. Not only are the bagels the problem the service SUCKS!!! They will yell for no reason and are just plain rude. This place truly deserves the 1 star rating.
