Nice people, good selection of bagels and sandwiches

You must try The Bagel Bin & Hoagie House! I receive amazing service and quality food each and every time I go. They have a wide array of menu options to satisfy hunger at all hours of the day. The supreme bagel is top-notch. When I am really hungry in the morning, I will get a breakfast sandwich. Later in the day, my favorite hoagie is the turkey bacon ranch. You cannot go wrong!

Mmmmmmmm!!!!! Delicious veggie cream cheese!! Soft chewy bagels of all flavors (I got jalapeno this trip!)). My husband really enjoyed his Everything bagel sandwich with Lox. We will definitely be going back. Hard to resist.

Bagels are really good, taking into consideration this is not nyc or nj... great service, food...reliable on take out orders large and small. Really like their tuna and bialis.

We ordered bagels online for Memorial day, we got texts and confirmations that they were working on our order and then when the order was ready to pick up. When my wife arrived, they had no idea about our order but she still managed to get a dozen bagels in as much time as it would have taken if they were ready. I think there is an element of luck there that they still had enough, and it could have been a terrible experience if they hadnt. The bagels were quite good, very fresh and flavorful. Soft, but crisp up nicely when toasted. They had the right density and werent like rings of fluffy bread with a hard outer shell like Giant makes. These bagels are legit.

It’s not easy for me to write a negative review because I’m an investor in two restaurants, but this can’t go unpublished. Ellicott City’s Bagel Bin’s lox and cream cheese sandwich is described on its menu as having tomato, onion and capers - the typical toppings by any bagel shop. Mine (delivered by Uber Eats) came without any of the fixings. When I called Bagel Bin and brought that to the attention of “Bobby Eddy” - obviously a high school dropout who worked behind the counter - he told me that he could “talk to his boss later to see if I can get a refund” and then immediately hung up on me. He didn’t ask for my name and number. He didn’t offer to fix me the bagel as advertised. He didn’t even apologize. So, I called back, gave him my name and number and then asked about getting the sandwich as advertised - he put me on hold for quite a while and then just hung up on me AGAIN. When I called a third time, his supervisor answered the phone and said something like “try calling Uber Eats man - I don’t know what else to tell you”.

Consistently good food. Their sandwich selection is great. I try something new almost every time and havent been disappointed yet. The workers genuinely seem to enjoy their job and are very friendly. This place is worth your time and money.

Not once in four online orders has the Bagel Bin gotten it right. I had to contact them on two different occasions to get refunds for food that wasnt provided. This time I ordered the Malibu Gucci breakfast sandwich and requested the bagel to be toasted. They didnt give me any avocado - one of three ingredients and the main reason I chose that sandwich - and they didnt toast my bagel.

Use to be a nice place, customer service was top notch. Now few months later and past the challenges around Covid and they forget things, can’t get in touch with them via phone, and don’t respond to messenger attempts to try to fix their screw up. Had to order TWO TIMES just to get my ORIGINAL ORDER.Sucks as it “use” to be a nice placeHopefully I’m wrong and can revise this but so far they could care less about making things right

Food is really good and the staff are great! Wanted to go to the tea shop and spotted this place a few moments before they closed. Came back the following weekend when they were actually opened and it was a great experience. Bagels are really good, amazing sandwiches and cream cheese is amazing! Think this may become my new weekend tradition.

Got a steak and cheese with peppers and onion, L,T&Pickles. SO GOOD!!! Hope you try it out. They are located in the Bagel Bin with no name posted, as of yet.

Got a plain bagel with egg salad. Should’ve asked for it not toasted as it was a little tough. My son got a bagel with peanut butter. Great costumer service nice atmosphere for a quick bite to eat. Interior is a little bit dated but other than that a nice bagel spot. Happy national bagel day

Great place with artesian bagels and sandwiches. They offer deli, salads, and pastry, but the begel is the king of the shelves!You ought to try my favorite - black and white one.

A great local family owned business that provides a reasonable price and value for delicious breakfast sandwiches. Clean environment, plenty of topping options, and great combinations of bagel variety.

We use to love this place, and the bagels are great but quality control is desperately needed. You might get a fantastic meal or you might get this, non toasted bagel with a vast amount of butter. Hope they turn this around as again, we do enjoy this place and feedback is important for a business to grow.

Amazing cheesesteak. One of the best Ive ever had and I eat a lot of them. Love that the original is with white american cheese. Steak quesadilla was awesome with shaved steak, delicious. Hope they stick around.

Small bagel place with fresh made bagels and homemade cream cheese toppings. I like the discounts for yesterdays bagels.

My husband paid for bagels and stepped aside to pick up cream cheese. He accidentally left his wallet on the counter when he stepped aside. Someone kept the wallet.

Even late in the day they had great bagels! I had a garlic bagel and my husband had asiago. A nice quiet dining room also.

Having grown up in Ellicott City, I highly recommend The Bagel Bin. The staff does a great job making you feel welcome and the food is some of the best in the area. Management has made some impressive additions to provide a great overall experience. It is a great spot to relax and have a coffee as well. You cant go wrong with The Bagel Bin and I will be back soon.

Good customer service. Love the bagels. They serve hot tea and hot coffee. The Big Scotts Little Treats Cookies are quite a treat too.

Very friendly staff and we got our sandwiches really quick. The Dilly Grilly was tasty, definitely one of the better bagel sandwiches Ive had.

Stopped by here during my holiday travels and was very pleasantly surprised! I had a Reuben on a marbled bagel and a cup of kale soup with chickpeas. The Ruben was fantastic, with the pastrami not being too fatty and perfectly salted. The soup was great and seasoned very well. I also love how soup was served in a mug! The sandwich also came with bagel chips, which i put in the soup.Plus, the coffee really hit the spot and was a perfect pick me up for the road, I had the antithesisbrew. The owner was there and told me the coffee beans were from a local roaster and I was very impressed.

I have been coming here for 4 years. I was so excited to see they have new management, but the only improvement has been the decor. The workers are unenthusiastic and unhelpful. The bins of bagels have no labels, so you have to ask. And they are annoyed when you do. When I asked for my bagels to be sliced last weekend, I wasnt told that they would cost more. My dozen bagels cost over $17!!! (Normally its around $12.)The whole experience was disappointing. Sadly, it seems the recipe has changed too. The texture of the bagels is dry on the outside instead of smooth. The place looks much nicer but we are soooo disappointed.

I will always love Bagel Bin. The bagels are consistently amazing, the price is right, the service is friendly, and theres something there for everyone. Sweet, savory, salty. Go early for the best people watching, in particular the groups of retirees who discuss books and the jokes. And who needs a newspaper when youve got the Coffee Times? Only one gripe, and I say it with love: Lets move away from the Styrofoam already, guys.

I went here for the first time 2 months ago and have been coming here every Monday and Wednesday since!! I’ve never been a fan of bagels but there variety and deserts is great. Also the new owner has really improved the quality and service

I went in for lunch because I wanted to try something new. The guys behind the counter were nice and provided very quick service. I got a bagel with sausage egg and cheese. Might be the best breakfast sandwich Ive had. Highly recommend going here and I will be back.

Stopped in for some bagels after hearing rave reviews about the new ownership. Was not disappointed. My kid gives it “four thumbs up”.

Really great cheese steak.

New ownership has given some life to this establishment. Ive been here before and it was OK, but the new owners are trying new items and offering great service. Bagels themselves offer a good level of chew, not too much that it makes you hurt you jaw getting through it, but definitely more than your typical store bought bagel.

This is one of the last Bagel Bins standing. When I first moved to my home, I was elated to find this Bagel Bin, as I love real bagels that are cooked on site. And these are especially fabulous with a chewy inside and nice crust.Mrs. Kim is there 90 percent of the time and is so sweet. Her staff ranges from teens working after school to young adults. Everyone is always helpful and really nice .There is always parking and the food is always great. If I could, Id probably eat lunch there everyday. The tuna melt, sandwiches, cheese melts and bagels are always good.

We both ordered the Philly cheesesteak, lots of meat on both sandwiches! Will be back

Nice little bagel shop in Enchanted Forest Shopping center. Bagels are good for Maryland (disappointing to those from NY/NJ). The bagel with egg, cheddar cheese and turkey is particularly nice. The coffee is only ok and there are no free refills. Service is fast,even when it is very crowded. So, with the proper expectations, it is a go to bagel shop in Howard County.

I went here on a Saturday and got a nice breakfast bagel! It took about 8 mins for the order to be done but after that I had a hot delicious bagel and egg sandwich :)

Picked up a dozen bagels here. Very good, with the proper chew on the inside and slight crust on the outside. Pretty much hit the nail on the head for what I think a bagel should be. Kudos.

Its as good as a bagel joint can be. They make the bagles on site so they are always fresh. Kind of a throw back to the 1970s inside. Nice guy runs the place. They serve breakfast sandwiches there too but all we ever get is coffee and bagles.

Under new management, it’s going in the right direction. Bagel toppings (like sesame seeds) are now on BOTH sides of the bagel! That’s YUGE! They have a professional Baker now and it shows. The coffee is especially better. I try to eat here now more often. Hoping they continue to reinvest.Go here for lunch and get a turkey sandwich on a bagel with sprouts and avocado. Excellent!

This used to be a solid 3.5-star bagel place, but it has gone down hill in the last year. The bagel supply is inconsistent, unless you eat plain or everything bagels. It doesnt matter which day of the week, they will always be out of bagels. One Monday I asked the woman at the register about it and she said that on Mondays they dont make fresh bagels they use leftovers from the weekend that didnt sell. Customer service has slipped. They used to be speedier, but even at non-busy times, expect to wait as long as ten minutes for a bagel with cream cheese.

I love the bagels but the avocado toast was terrible. The avocado tasted old and the seasonings were off.

Amazing selection of homemade bagels. You can get bagels to-go or choose from a wide array of bagel sandwiches and eat in. My go-to is an energy bagel with peanut butter. Highly recommend this place!

Bagel was good, slim selection, environment dusty and only ones in here with unwiped tables and dirty floors with mop bucket or drip bucket under coffee machines. But most of all I asked for a cold bagel sandwich on a hot day and they still warmed up my sandwich to a halfway toasted bagel.

3/2021 -- I believe new management has taken over since this reviewBagels are good. They only make a few bagels at a time, so you may have to wait a while for your favorite bagel.

I’ve start coming back here since the new ownership. It looked like it started to improve, but I was wrong. The kids working are too busy talking to each other that they can’t even listen when you ask for something. Again, They couldn’t even make a cup of coffee correctly.
