Wow…5 starts I can’t even begin to compliment!! I walked into the store.. impeccable service, ambiance unmatched. I was introduced to my new love the HOKA shoe. My outdoor experience has been transformed & elevated thanks to Cami. Would 100/10 recommend.

I have spent a lot of money here on skis & winter gear but every time I need my gear fixed or worked on that I have purchased at mountain high sports they say “sorry we don’t do that, we can’t help you, we don’t have the right tools..” don’t sell something or offer products that you can’t fix or offer knowledge on. The latest excuse I got was that they didn’t want to purchase the $150 template to work on the bindings for my skis that I had purchased from them. I would think $150 would be worth all the returning customers you could be getting. Unfortunately no longer a customer here. Don’t recommend buying skis or any kind of outdoor gear here if you plan on getting it worked on or need it fixed.

They have Birkenstocks. Not my size, but they will order for you. Takes a week to ten days. Nice staff, nice shop.

This was the first place I came to to find hiking boots. Im new to the area but I saw it was close on google maps and decided to check it out. Im so glad I did. The staff are super sweet and truly want to help you find the right gear. I know little about hiking boots, and they were able to find the best fit and style to what I would be using it the most for. Definitely will come back if I ever need anything else.

Got a pair of Vasque hiking boots for $200 (before tax). They have a little of everything, including technical climbing gear. Fun store.

Fine selection of outdoor goods. Quality clothing, boots, backpacks, hats and more. Enough climbing gear to get a new sport climber started. Helpful staff.

Ive always enjoyed buying/renting outdoor gear at Mountain High Sports in Ellensburg. I still have gear from there that I purchased 10 years ago. The store itself is unique which is a cool bonus.

This place was pretty okay. Im only giving it three stars because their selection was severely limited and their sizes even more so. The staff was very helpful and kind though!

Stopped by here on a road trip. They had exactly what I needed for summer hiking. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The service was quick.

Great service; I brought back a headlamp that my husband had purchased for me several months ago but never worked quite right, Tami immediately offered to send it back to the manufacturer and get it fixed or replaced for me, no questions asked. Staff there is always friendly and knowledgeable!

We accidentally lost track of time and went right at closing... Still didnt know what time it was when I went to check out and realized I didnt have my wallet. Ran back to the apartment and grabbed it while still unaware.Made it back to the register and checked out successfully a half hour after closing. They were really nice and didnt make me feel like the tool I was to put them out so much.Service was excellent, we appreciate them!

Great help from this place multiple times. I really dont get the negative reviews on here. They seem kinda whiney. I got a free basket replaced on ski poles a couple years ago (just because they had an old one in the back to stick on for me). And last Month I bought some used skis from them and had an issue with the binding on one of the skis - could have been that way when I got it, or I might have broken it. They replaced the binding with a spare (again from the back room) FOR FREE! Also bought some new stuff from them - the small-town ; independently-owned aspect is DEFINITELY WORTH saving a few bucks online.

This is a great store that stocks many essentials for outdoor recreation. Yes, some small items are slightly more expensive than what you might find online, but large-ticket gear is the same price or lower, and you cant beat the convenience of having this kind of selection nearby. Shop local!

I wish I could give it zero stars! I bought a 300 dollar North Face coat that broke on the first day. That wasnt the problem. The problem was that I couldnt get a new or different one. They wouldnt even give me my money back! I had to wait three weeks while they repaired it. I went with out my money and a coat during that time. That is no way to treat a customer! I always wanted to shop there but now I will never will. I always tell my friends to spend there money elsewhere. They lost a customer for life!!

Maybe I hit it at a bad day. No one said hi or can I help you....kinda like I was Invisible to all the staff. Only 2 others in the store...not like busy. Prices are high and selection not great.

Shes got a lot of good gear you need when youre out there in the Alpine. Hiking camping skiing and climbing!

Bought a pair of keens and they slipped on my heel while I walked. Beware of stingy return policy, salesman didnt tell me about it and I walked with them in yard. When they asked if I wore them outside I told them just to test but they refused to work with me. Return policy is: if you wear them outside they are unreturnable. They were not even 24 hrs old, I had receipt, and all original packaging. Very disappointing. Maybe Keen will work with me.

Mountain High Sports people are very helpful, and I am glad they carry the Altra brand running shoes! Ill definitely be back soon.

I was impressed with their high quality apparel and products, the abundance of styles to fit my needs, their friendly and knowledgeable staff (both Nate and McKenzie helped me), and am grateful they are conveniently located in the heart of Ellensburg! :)

Seems to me like more of a hipster/weekend warrior store. Not a lot of selection unless you want The North Face or Patagonia gear. Also bring your savings if youre going to shop here. $$$ A little on the expensive side.

I went in for a second pair of running shoes because my ankles hurt in my current pair. Rather than selling me a pair of shoes I didnt need they took the time to fit me with custom insoles, solving my problem and saving me a good deal of money.
