The legs on one of the nice iron railings, on the front stairs of our home, rusted and fell off. I called several welding companies for estimates, but was most impressed with the owner of AF Welding when I spoke with him on the phone. Alex not only responded in a timely fashion to the message I left, but was pleasant and professional.Per his instructions I emailed him some photos of the stairs and the broken railing. He called me back and said he could repair the railing and replace it in the cement stairs, and quoted a price I felt was very fair.I paid him a deposit over the phone and Alex and his assistant came out on the day and time he said they would, made the repairs beautifully, and cleaned up after themselves.When all was done I asked Alexs advice about how to keep the matching railing from similar damage, and he said that when he returns to take the braces off the railing (once the cement dries) that he would do some preventive work around the legs of the still good railing. I asked the price for this and Alex said it was free of charge, and that he had planned to do it anyway upon his return.Alex is not only competent, polite and friendly, but also kind and generous. I highly recommend him for any welding work anyone may need done. I will certainly hire him again if needed.

AF welding came out to our home to repair a piece of equipment with some custom welding. He did a great job and we could not be happier with the results.

Alex did a great job and provided really quick service. I had a treadmill frame that had broken and Alex did a great job at a reasonable price. My treadmill is up and running again. He also reinforced another area so that it would not happen on the other side. Its probably stronger than new.
