The sign read that the shop was to open at 1000hrs we waited until 1030hrs and still no one opened the door. I do NOT recommend this place
Get your filipino supplies here.
Friendly staff. Answered any questions I had. I will return again. Also the prices are really phenomenal! I hate going to small markets that mark up their stock as if I am buying from a circle K. Anyway, this store is full of awesome ingredients and had plenty of Filipino foods that I love.
I would consider this place a Filipino store and not an Oriental store. They Carry everything you would need to be able to cook delicious Filipino food at home and other things like balikbayan boxes. Sometimes they are out of some of the seasonings I need. I have also driven there only to find out they are closed for a week at a time. The other markets in town may have more variety when it comes to Japanese, Chinese, Korean options but if your looking for mainly Filipino items this is a great place to go.
I always feel great coming and living this place. You can send money to Philippines conveniently and of course by Filipino spices and foods and snacks
I was very excited to see that there is a Filipino store in El Paso! The store is quite small but the selection is vast. There are many yummy snacks, to drinks, to meats in the freezers to pick from. The owner was friendly and helpful and prices are reasonable. There is more then plenty of parking up front. The store is very easy to miss so just be on the lookout!
The service is fantastic......
Store is small with only 2 aisles. Dont expect fresh produce here, there are alot of sauces, canned foods, and frozen foods here.
Everything in the store is great... On the other hand, its missing a lot of great products
Flying into ELP from the East Coast for a family event. I was asked to make lumpia gulay so called Maharlika 2 WEEKS prior to arrival date to ask if in stock. The guy who answered assured me they had them and offered to put aside 6 packs until I arrived. I gave him the exact date of our arrival 3 TIMES and thanked him. So on the date I arrived, went straight to the store from El Paso Airport and the old guy said they sold them and had none in stock!!! He also claimed he sold them because I didn’t show up to pick up even after I had to give him the exact date over the phone 3 times - he obviously didn’t pay attention or write it down. Why tell me he would put them aside?! I depended on that offer after having traveled 2200 miles since 5am that day!! Worst, unreliable customer service!!! Never going back or recommending to anyone!!! 0 stars!!
Says open came and door was locked and they had a sign that said open. Maybe I came at a bad time but if your not going to be open change the hours on here
Good to see a filipino store in El Paso.
