Horrible customer service. They rarely have what I need. Dont trust them and check what they give you, theyll just give you the closest thing without checking, like 1/8 thick washers for a 1/4 long bolt. Then they have a $5 minimum or they charge you $2. I asked how much the bolts were and they gave me a price with the $2 service fee and didnt say anything. I would have gotten other stuff for stock to make up the difference. Ill drive across town to swiftco and never come back here. I gave them 3 chances and always a bad experience

They got some really big nuts. I usually buy rivits and such. They could use a sign on the building. 4x8 di bond sign is only 198.00. U will sell lots of nuts & boltd with a good quality sign by Sign Design

The owner is not interested in walk-in customers that dont have deep pockets and thick skin. After numerous purchases from the very nice lady that runs the counter the very first time I purchased from the owner he tripled the price and said, I dont want small customers. If you arent making a large purchase go to Home Depot or Lowes. Muy bien señor, I will take my business somewhere else but I will also tell my side of our story as often as I can.

I purchase a large quantity of stainless steel nuts and bolts each month. I believe in supporting local business and being that El Paso Nut and Bolt on Redd Road is fairly close in proximity, I have continually tried to give them my business.After previous experience with the female employee double charging me for items, I began ordering my nuts and bolts online through Albany County Fasteners. I order bulk as in usually 50-100qty or more, however, the prices shipped are typically less than the price of 10-20 pieces at El Paso Nut and Bolt. I order what I need and in 2-3 days its in my mailbox.Now there are times when it I need a few odds and ends and I still try to give this establishment my business. About 6 weeks ago, I knew I had to hurry to get across town to be at their establishment by 5:00pm. I hurried through the beginnings of rush hour traffic and even passed by other business such as El Paso Bolt & Screw (which I could have made it to by 4:40-4:45 easily). I arrived at El Paso Nut and Bolt at 4:52pm and I am told they are closed for the day. I said, oh, the sign says 5:00. The response was, well, we shut our computers down and because of that we are now closed.I stopped in a few days ago to purchase some stainless bolts, nuts and lock washers. I purchased 16 of each. I arrived home to find out that I was shorted two nuts and 1 lock washer. I returned at 4:58 pm, and already knowing they shut down their computers early I wasnt too worried because it was just them needing to take care of filling my order. However, instead I arrive and I am hastily told that they are now closed and that I must leave. 4:58pm. I tried to explain what had happened and woman rudely told me that it didnt matter that they were closed....while she continued to help other customers. As I walk out she mutters something in spanish to customers and they all laugh as I leave. I will never step foot in this disgrace of an establishment again.Not only are they highly overpriced. They are rude. They short you on items you pay for. They shut down early and refuse customers service during normal business hours. Its instances such as this where I am not saddened when I learn of a local business shutting its doors. I have tried to support them and they arent interested in my business. Its a shame because I know I am not the only one that this has happened to. I am not sure if this hispanic woman in her late 50s is an owner, but if she is, then she is a disgrace to small business. If she isnt the owner, the owner really needs to re-evaluate their staff.Go elsewhere. Save yourself the headache. Giving this establishment 1 star, because -100 was not an option.
