I personally know the owner of this business that has been here for almost 30 years. For anyone looking for reviews, this worker is an honest and hard-working professional. One girl came over because she ordered shoes that never fit her online. So then she threatened the owner to purchase her new shoes. He would not let up, and she got friends and relatives to post fake negative reviews on Google.

I was recently in the Shoe Doctor, in Sunland ParkMall.The attention to the client was excellent and anefficient work.I recomend this place if you’re looking for a verygood experience for your shoe.Highly recomended.

We took my girlfriends brand new Christian Louboutin’s to him with the the intent of putting some type of protection, with out any consultation he started to remove the red paint from the bottom of the heel and keep in mind these have never been worn or have been out of the box, I called him to ask what he was doing and not to continue his work and he did not consult us first... he argued and said to look at his restoration work... and I said exactly you are restoring these, they’re brand new we just wanted some type of protection on top of them... I paid over $700 for these and he ruined them and they never saw daylight... he is completely and utterly disrespectful and unprofessional, do not do business with with him. I would not suggest him at all to no one

Beware of taking any of your high quality shoes here. They won’t take care of your shoes here. My friend took her brand new shoes to add a protective film to the bottom of the shoe. They completely ruined it which you can’t explain how or why they would do such thing.

I first hand saw the work this 40 year experienced man did to a friends $800 luxury heels, HORRIBLE. Last night while I was with that friend this man still had the audacity to call and insult my friend over the phone because of a bad review after HE ruined never worn heels. what kind of Professional takes time to do such thing.

I am very upset with the service I received from The Shoe Doctor in Sunland Park Mall. Took a brand new pair of $800 shoes, and he ruined them. I went in for consultation and he proceeded to remove the never worn sole without warning me or asking for consent. I was forced to leave the shoes he damaged himself for repair. I was very dissatisfied with his work. Tried giving him a second chance that he requested and still did a poor job. According to him that’s how the shoe should look, and he was too busy with other work. This is destruction of property. Tried to get to an agreement with him to get my money back and he didn’t cooperate. Please be aware of his poor service. He stated a bad review would not affect his business whatsoever and had a hostile attitude after not wanting to get to an agreement with me. Keep in mind I still paid $87 for the horrible service, even when I did not agree.DO NOT TAKE YOUR SHOES TO THIS BUSINESS. HE IS A SCAM!

A friend took in a BRAND NEW PAIR of designer shoes, and utterly destroyed them. Without her consent, he grabbed them and sanded off the red bottoms off the shoe, making her have no option but leave them with him. ALL she wanted was a protective sole, not a whole fake red bottom... And to top it off, he blackmailed her in saying and I quote You writing bad reviews does not affect my business, Ive been in this business for 40 years.

Poor customer service and unprofessional. Did such a bad job on a pair of shoes worth $800.00. He could of acknowledge his mistake and work on a agreement since the shoes were brand new and ruined, but preferred to be disrespectful. He proceeded to have an attitude and said bad reviews did not hurt his business. Save your money & avoid going to him as he can ruin your belongings and not have a care on the world.

My boots were damaged by rain. Cracked, dry and faded. The shoe doctor restored, replenished and replaced the damaged sole. Great work. I highly recommend this place

I purchased some Florsheim shoes for $175 and wore them for one job interview. On my way home from the interview I accidently scratched the front of the left shoe on the curb of the sidewalk. I thought it was over for them after that, but I read some reviews about the Shoe Doctor here in El Paso TX. Let me tell you, I am very appreciative of this man. He did an amazing job fixing my shoe. Ive been here several times to get numerous shoes repaired and as a result, they all turned out extraordinary and appeared brand new. Ive gone twice to get my shoes polished, its only 5 dollars and he does it on the spot and would have it done in about 15 minutes! Overall great store, friendly, helpful, experienced and professional repairman. Great quality and extraordinarily great prices compared to other shoe repair shops Ive seen! I was only in El Paso for two days, I explained that to the person behind the counter when I dropped my boots off. He resoled my cowboy boots and sent me a text the next day saying that he was done. I am VERY happy with everything.

I came in to ask a few questions about how to repair an indentation. The store owner described to me the process step by step of what he would have to do which was great and very accurate to what I had researched before. I then got my shoes cleaned, shined up and some free shoe trees to go with it. Very happy.

Very poor service. Over the phone. I asked for a suggestion on care and upkeep on the edge dressing of my boots. The color looks like a neutral color. Tan brown would be close. He asks what color are my boots. I say black. He suggested that I dye my edging black. I say but I want to keep the same color I have now, dont want to change them to black. His reply was. ...well you asked for my suggestion. Poor suggestion and smart ass attitude. Im suprised he has good reviews. All I got from this was that the other places are very bad or too far to deal with. Im glad I didnt waste my time and has going there.

Needed a backpack fixed. I took it in half expecting him to tell me as others had before I cant fix it. Instead, he fixed it on the spot, and for a good price. I will definitely return should other backpacks or shoes need repair.

Good shop for keeping your shoes alive for another year or two. Swho does that any more? They are desperate for business, selling off handmade boots for half price or two for one. If you see the piece of paper taped to the closed metal gate that says back in 10 dont believe it.

Victor and his wife are very friendly, their work is excellent for such a low price. I lost my receipt ( the red card) and he didnt give me a hard time.

I stopped in twice this year, once to see if they could color match an area where the leather on my handbag was worn, and the second time to see if he could clean some stains on a suede purse. Both times I waited at the counter while a man (Im assuming the owner?) finished his phone calls, reorganized papers on the counter, etc. Saying hello, or a nod of the head to aknowledge a customer goes a long way. Both times he said nothing could be done without even looking, and both times I ordered cleaner online and fixed it myself. To be fair, maybe he just doesnt deal with handbags, but if so he should have said that, because it felt like a brush off.

Not only do they charge more to repair shoes than any other store in the city the quality was awful. The zipper they attached is coming off of the shoe and the pull tab broke. This was only a short time after I took them home.It also took over a week to get one boot fixed! Go somewhere else.

My name is Tiffany I live in Austin, TX. My husband is a congressman at the Capitol .. I was visiting El Paso and we were at Sunland Park Mall. As I was going up the escalator my shoe got stuck, the rubber bottom of my heel came off!! Which made very upset because these were Christian Louboutin!I asked one of the mall employees if there was a shoe repair shop and he told me to take it to The Shoe Doctor and in 5 minutes my shoes were fixed and even polished! They offered great service, I was ready to put a complaint against the mall for the stair malfunction, but The Shoe Doctor saved my day! I think this service should be offered in every mall. Take your shoes here, you will not be disappointed.

The old man ruin my coach shoes, after I told him to take off the paint because I was not going to pay for the job I had done, I refused to give them to me and he said hed call security to see what they had to say, I said fine by me, then said give me 30 dollars and you can take them, my RUINED shoes that had already unpainted. My boyfriend gave him 20 bucks because he was just wasting our time I said fine and threw my shoes in the counter and said no one in El Paso will fix this for you. This is a horrible business if you need a shoe repair there are way better out there. For half the price I have charges you can get a much better job.I put it in Spanish too, take my shoes to fix scraped nails from below, so as not to make it from a long story, it did a horrible dirty job for me, I told him that I would come later to collect them unpainted because I did not pay for such an ugly job. He said that he did not have to take them without first talking to security to see what they had to say about the soruanxion. I told him ok its fine. The very rude man said pay me 30 dlls and take them when he had unpainted. Why would I pay for the work I had already planned? I told him no if not that my boyfriend was already here and told him to stop wasting our time and take 20 dollars. For all who need shoe repair there are much better and cheaper places. Do not go there. I tell you from experience my mom had the same situation and she had been filling there for years. That old man is badly grateful and rude.
