Was on a trip to El Paso from California when I took a rock to the windshield leaving a chip with a couple of spider cracks. Once in El Paso, I called another company for repair and had to deal with the 800 service, not local store, and was given an appointment 4 days but noted that I might be able to do a Walkin the next day, Fri. Went to store and no chance getting in. Got a recommendation from a family member for Alamo as he has had great service, and after a call, next day appointment and exceptional service from initial phone call and thru whole service, Shop was clean and they completed the repair in no time. Thank you Alamo team from this displaced El Pasoian!

EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE!! First time here, me and my husband were treated like royalty. Went in with chipped windshield and technician explained the process very clearly, we were offered popcorn and burritos during our short waiting period, service and customer service were EXCELLENT! Highly recommend them!!

Someone recommended this place to me. I broke my rear window of my F150. They were less expensive then Safe lite. But like they saying goes you get why you pay for. The tech Marco had the window changed out in about 15 minutes. I was at work and unfortunately was not able to inspect his work. I asked him if he hooked up the heater for my rear defrost. He assured me that he did. Well he lied to me about doing so. I have called Johnny numerous times to have him send someone out to fix it. So far its been 3 weeks and the issue has not been resolved. I am very disappointed in the service I received from this establishment. I should have paid the extra $50 and had Safe Lite change my window. The poor quality of work and being lied to by the tech was not worth the money I saved.

Terrible 😭 they wanted to charge me an extra $20 for a mistake they did and i already paid for AND to top it off my door was missing screws on it?? Which eventually lead to my door completely opening in the middle and now I’m driving around with a messed up door

Took my $85,000 Audi here to get a small windshield crack fixed. It came out worse than it went in. He told me that there is a tiny chance that it can spread but it is 1 in a hundred and I did get mine back worse. I didnt believe it because I have 2 cracks in my other vehicles windshield and the guy in Albuquerque who fixed it did a phenomenal job in a mall parking lot. Now a windshield replacement with safelite is $959. DO NOT take your car here.

Called to make an appointment a week beforehand, never received confirmation the appointment the day before, then the day that they’re supposed to come they never get in contact with you until you have to call back THREE TIMES!! Then they tell you that they can’t help you until the actual manager calls you back, what a joke! Definitely lack a of communication towards customers!

I would look elsewhere before coming to this place, never thought I would bring my car in to only take it back months later the same. Not ONLY that but they stole my vin number and sticker.

The guys where great and excellent communication it just the tiny things I don’t like. They dripped some of the glue they where using on my side mirror and left a gap between the side weather strip of the windshield and it won’t sit flush with the windshield now, it seems they just glued it down for it to stay.

A follow coworker was getting his windshield replaced by Joe and Jesus. While working on the truck they doored my car in the process and instead of having the integrity and the professionals to step up and say something. They finish their job and bailed. The manager I spoke with on the phone took the consern but I know its in one ear and out the other. Regardless of your work quality, you lack professional respect. Makes me question the integrity of any of their work. Ill never do business now with them and Ill never recommend them due to this.

I had my windows tinted on a Cadillac DTS with Lalo, and a window motor fixed with Johnny they Also put a brand new windshield put on the altima . The professionalism there is top notch would definitely be doing business again with this company and the people are awesome and their prices are competitive!

First window I had replaced with them looked great the second a few months ago not so good. Left some black tar looking goop and smudges all around window and hood of car.

The worst service I booked an appointment for my semi and pick up truck an never received my services been Calling for two days and not return one call or no services what so ever went back to work with my windshield still damaged do not recommend !!!

They quote you one price and then charge you another for little things. I had some custom glass work done but they kept upping the price buy sending the guy out several times to remeasure. The owner then overcharges when he finds out where you live and how much you earn!. At my business- everyone gets the same price and not based on an EARNING CURVE! I never ask how much you earn before I charge you. My original quote more than doubled. I do not recommend this business at all. As you can see on all the other negative reviews Johnny never responds.

My experience with this company was beyond horrible. Johnny and Liz are unprofessional at best. They took an insurance deductible and performed no service and delivered no product and refused to return the deductible. In addition they told falsehoods to myself and to the insurance company and Safelite. This is not the type of person that anyone should want to do business with. It all started with Johnny‘s inability to perform as he promised regarding schedule and services. And perpetuated with hangup phone calls and falsehoods regarding credits back. I would advise anybody and everybody to run away from this company.

I have had a customer waiting all week amd expecting to get her window that way I can tint her windows.. now I hear from noone johnny has told me.twicw he would call me back and let me know.what day they would be up here.. never not one call at all.. had to call twice and he still never called me back.. I lost a customer to tint and they lost two.customer one to glass and me being the other.. so sad.. wont use you guys again. But thx!!!

Amazing place!!!! I got hit with a big rock and it smashed my windshield, I pulled over and I called my insurance and they got me an appointment with Safelite for the following day for $420!!! My mom said it was ridiculous and she recommended I go here so i did and I couldn’t be happier, they replaced my window the same day. Great prices, very fast, and awesome customer service. Now I can make it to Colorado in time for my husbands return from Afghanistan.. Thanks guys :)

I I have seen Alamo for a long time since I was little. And I knew they had to be good because they had been there a long time. And I was right. The extremely hot weather cause my windshield crack and I had to get it replaced. The lady that took my order there was very nice and professional, great customer service. They did a great job and I recommend them.

I had great luck with these guys, took care of my Moms car, and a year later mine. Cheapest prices i could find. I could not believe all the people out there that will write a bad review for them taking an extra hour or two. Did you think, it was like changing your underwear and would only take a minute? come on, really? if you want that, then go to McDonalds and i am sure they can help you.

Went to have a glass made for a vanity. The President John Munoz as stated in his business card took the measurements and said it would be ready next day at 11 am. I called the next day just to make sure it was ready before I made the trip. John answered at which time I asked him if the glass for the vanity was ready. He paused as if I caught him off guard and then states, the glass yes its not ready my workers havent gotten back to the shop. Clearly he forgot about it So he goes on and says it will be ready tomorrow. Next day I show up at the business and the lady at the front says John is in a meeting. I asked her, can you just check with John and see if my glass is ready. She calls him and of course he says it not and to check back on Monday. Bottom line this place is unprofessional and have little regard for their clients. What is even more bothersome is this sub standard service was provided by the president of the company. On a side note I ended up taking my business to One Stop Glass on Rojas. Highly recommend it as they were very professional and their service was prompt and best of all for half the price.

They fixed the nickel sized chip that grew from a dime size since the last time I attempted to fix my windshield there with them; however, I asked them to scan the remaining windshield & fix any additional chips since it was covered up to the size of a dollar bill & they didn’t. Now I have to file another claim, I’ll probably try somewhere different.

Im not sure if they do better when they make house calls or business calls but when I showed up I must have waited two hours on day one (never got the job done), waited another half hour on day 2 (never got the job done), and just never went back. Too much waiting and no one ever even checked on what I needed done, didnt even get a look. Very disappointed.

I had a great experience with them, very good customer service and the staff was outstanding. I took my car so they could replace my front windshield and they had it done in about 3 hours. I will definitely recommend them and will be coming back if I ever have a window or windshield to be replace.

Didnt even bother to call to say they werent showing up to my appointment. When they did they tore the side windshield buffer and said that it came like that. Please go somewhere else.

They ALSO do building glass! Alamo did the tinting for us at our Smile Magic office. We really noticed a great improvement in energy usage and reduced glare in the afternoons. Johnny was great getting everything coordinated and done for us. And we are 100% pleased with the work they did for our clinic.

Definitely dont recommend. I called to get a quote for a stock windshield and they were the cheapest so I set up a time to come in and was told they would get it done quickly. When I showed up the next day for my appointment they said they do not have my stock windshield, only aftermarket. On top of that it would be $50 more expensive and it would take 3-4 hours to get it done. They will tell you what you want to hear to get you in the door. Dont waste your time.

I had a good experience with Alamo Auto Glass. Even though with the person who came to fix my windshield had a bit of a language barrier, we had his boss translate for me so was all good, he got the job done within 1/2 hour on the site for me. The people I talked to at their headquarters were very helpful and kind, their price of service was very reasonable and service and quality of work was excellent and would totally recommend their services to anyone who needs their glass fixed.

I have been rebuilding a 69 Chevy Nova and among other things, I had to have the windshield and a couple of side windows replaced. This part of my cars renovation went very smoothly, thanks to Johnny and the rest of the Alamo team. I highly recommend their work.

I have used Alamo Glass for many years on a number of different projects. Right now theyre helping me get the glass replaced on a 57 Chevy. Its difficult to find these parts, but Johnny can get the job done! They always do great work, and Im always very pleased with their service.

Alamo is #1 in El Paso! Our business, Kings Custom Collision has been having our windows worked on and replaced by Alamo for well over 15 years. And I have known Johnny longer than that. I wouldnt have anyone else work on our customers windows. They are amazingly reliable.

I appreciate that the employees here use common sense when dealing with customers. A few months ago I had to get something very simple and quick done. Not myself having the proper tools or expertise, I came to Alamo to have the weather stripping on my Grand Cherokee replaced so I wouldnt have leaks during the rainy season. They were very busy, with many customers waiting for major, time-consuming work to be done like electric door motor replacements and entire windshield replacements. Seeing that I had a very minor and quick (for Them) repair to be done, they got me taken care of right away...and without delaying the work that they were doing on anyone elses cars. Very efficient! No point in having me wait a couple of hours for a 5 minute repair...I really appreciate their common sense approach and great customer service, Outstanding, Thank you!

Im so upset with Alamo Glass. I have been trying to get them to make a glass table top since June. They kept telling me that they would come out to measure and after a month, they finally did in July, and I havent heard from them since. I have called them several times and left messages for John to call me back, but of course he hasnt called back. Maybe he doesnt want my business, and if that is the case, then I wish he would have told me so I could have gone somewhere else. I think its pretty bad when a business treats a customer this way. I will never go back to them again for anything and Ill be sure to let all my friends know and Im going to put it out on social media so everyone will know the poor service (or no service) that I received from Alamo Glass.

Sloppy workmanship. Have used this place a few times, tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Every time I get a windshield replaced they either damage something else or they leave a mess. I’ve ended up spending much more just going back to fix their screwups. Save yourself the trouble. Also, I don’t trust the head person. Just gives off that vibe.

Before you make any assumptions about this store, read first. I went there because the other stores reviews in the area sounded a little too far-fetched. Tinting is maybe easy, still I wanted somebody experienced to take care of my ride. Very professional and by no means they presented themselves as scammers. My wife BMW is coming soon and I will definitely take it back to them. You guys should definitely give them a try.

Some pin holes started getting bigger on my windshield and lots of pitts in the glass. So I finally broke down and got my windshield replaced at Alamo. And I had them tint my windows in the rest of my car. The finished product looks great. And they did it for a fair price.

Very military friendly! I highly recommend Alamo Auto Glass!!!I got a quote from Johnny on Saturday afternoon for the same Original Equipment Equivalent (OEE) windshield that the other big name chains boast about. The difference was Alamos quote was nearly 1/2 of their price!We set the mobile installation appointment for Monday sometime between 12 and 3 at my work place. The tech called at 12:11 and showed 5 minutes later. He was very professional, and completed the job within 45 minutes including clean up.What more could you ask for in an auto glass replacement company? It was a 5 star experience for sure!

This Was The Only Place That Had My Back Window. Took A While But We Got It Done. They Had Water, Popcorn, donuts, Coffee And A Television For Ur Children To Warch Cartoons. GREAT Place.

Horrible tint job all around. Had to take vehicle back after 1st tint to fix the darkness. Got it back totally blacked out. I asked the owner if they could remove the back tint so I was able to see at night and he wanted to charge me 65.00 dollars on top of what I had already paid to get a poor tint job. They said they lightened it up on 3rd attempt only to find out that they never fixed it to begin with after taking it to another tint shop to remove the rear tint. When tint was removed, it was in fact a 5% tint sitting on top of 20% factory glass when they told me they put 20%tint on top of 20%glass. Bad business all around especially when you lie to the customer. I highly recommend not doing any business with this company AT ALL.

The owner is even worse, I spoke to him face too face and he does not honor his own warranty. Stated his computer system was new and all his records were lost. Wow, what an excuse.So if you want to make sure you get poor service on a claim and service buy here, I will not ever go back. One time and neither will you.

Terrible experience.The OWNER told me it would take 2-3 hrs to tint a four door car. SIX hours later car still not ready.Owner never apologized, just said they got backed up.Never again cheaper and lower cost down the street with better customer service.Save your time and money.

I was traveling from Hobbs to El Paso when a large rock hit my windshield, unfortunately doing enough damage to cause me to have to replace the whole thing. I called around, and Alamo was the most accommodating of everyone I reached out to. And they got the windshield replaced right away with no waiting and no hassles. I was very pleased.

They did an okay job for $50 they send it down my windows so I can see better which was made it nice and I didnt have to replace the window completely that was a good thing and I think the boss is name was John

Asked my friend about them and Alamo told my friend their window was crack from the outside, though it wasnt apparently they dont know what they are doing with home window repair. Good luck.
