I had 2 cars done here so far. 1 about 1 year and a half ago and it’s working like a beauty. Amazing work. The return time is always on time. Honestly is hard to find great workmanship, honesty, reliability, friendliness, and amazing service over all. Amazing shop definitely recommend it!!!

I came to service my failing transmission from 09 Honda Civic and left it to the mechanic with the initial price of $1100 for rebuilding the transmission. But after a couple of days, the mechanic called me telling me there was another problem with the transmission in which it was going to cost another $300 which I said was fine. Then after a week the mechanic called me again saying there was a problem with the clutch as it needed new springs. But prior to the previous phone call he told me that clutch was in good condition and that only the transmission was the main issue in which is why he was charging me $300 extra. So the mechanic tells that the clutch springs are wasted and that I will need to replace them for $250 and later in the phone call he tells me somehow the clutch disc is broken. Funny thing is, however, is that those same clutch spring set cost about $10 at AutoZone and that the installation is nothing more than just lining them into a slot, nothing more. Nothing complicated, just pop them in and youre good. Never coming here ever again. Such shady business tactics to make more profit. Customer BEWARE.

Very good and acurate service. My family had 3 different vehicles that needed a rebuilt transmission and were all done here. They run great and no problems.

Recently had a trans go bad in a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 5.7 A.T. Pick Up.After talking to Rick about what was wrong with our truck. It was decided that it needed a trans overhaul. After having the truck towed over to there shop Rick and the guys got rite on it. He called me back with a revised estimate and that was within reason on price. I cant say how much I thank Rick and his Guys at Durfee Auto Trans for all there help.I would also like to note: That Durfee Trans has also done about 10 other peoples cars as per my sending them, and not all of them just needing rebuilding, Some just needed adjustments. they have told me there happy I sent them their.Thanks Rick for all your helpCowboy Bob !!!!
