I’ve been coming to AA Auto Repair for the past 15 years, and 4 vehicles. Every time I come in Odai is super helpful and professional. I am very mechanically inclined and do a lot of my own work. The things I can’t do, I bring in to Odai. He’s always been helpful, he tells me things to check for when I’m having problems and is usually right. He is a trustworthy automotive technician. He goes above and beyond and never tries selling me things I don’t need. I will be coming here for years to come.

I’ll keep this short and simple. I’ve been bringing my vehicles here, to Odai more specific since early 2000. It started with a vehicle inspection, great honest service and prices. Since then he’s worked on many of my vehicles over the time from transmission repairs or replacements, to AC repairs and other simple repairs. If it’s not an emergency or out of town repair, he is the only one I trust. He’s a straight shooter! I highly recommend his shop.

Man...Odai and Zina deserve 10 stars, people! This little family owned business went above and beyond for me...twice in one day! I went there for a standard inspection on a vehicle I was considering to purchase. I left happy with the service - friendly, fast, fair and Odai walked me through everything on the car he found in detail, so I understood. He even helped me Kelly Blue Book the vehicle so I knew what to offer the seller for negotiating power. About an hour later, I ended up having car trouble with my current vehicle and couldn’t get it to start and was stranded at a gas station. I called Odai and he actually drove out to where I was and helped me get the vehicle started and back to the shop. Two car jobs in one day - consider me a customer and a friend for life! Literally the only auto shop I will take my car to anymore. The staff is knowledgeable and fair. There is no dishonesty at this shop. Its family owned and they do go out of there way to make the customers happy and comfortable in those sometimes stressful automotive times. WOW great service .Supper friendly they took care my chevy while me and my son walked up street came back it was done. AC better than taken it to dealer or other shops around wait time are no fun these guys they know what the wright thing for your car is and they do it with honesty.

Unbelievable service from great people. Brought a used car here from a local dealership to have it checked out by a 3rd party mechanic prior to purchasing and Odai and his crew couldn’t have been more helpful. He looked up the carfax on my vehicle (dealer told me they didn’t have carfax account), checked over the car FOR FREE, and gave me solid honest advice on the condition of the car and tires. I don’t live in the area and I would drive the 30 mins back here to have my car serviced in the future.

I rarely do reviews on shops, product, or anything in general, but I feel its important nowadays for people to know which is good or bad out there. Two or three years ago when I first visited the shop to replace Camry 2001 engine. The car is still running till this day. I always oil changed my other Camry 2003 with them and recently had them diagnose Lexus mechanically. Good and knowledgable staff. It is the place where you feel your car problems going to get fixed and not break on you the following week.

Family run shop. Awesome people and good vibes. I called them an hour and 15 minutes before close and they took me in and installed my exhaust at a great price. Took them 20 minutes. Couldn’t be happier I’m coming back here for my maintenance and car part installs. Five stars hands down.

Now I’ve always been super skeptical about mechanics but was so relieved after my experience todayVery professional and friendly and my repair was done quickly and I felt it took priority. Diagnostic was free he even checked my check engine light for free as well. Let me use the Wi-Fi password and his phone charger while I waited as well. Price was totally great and fair, I don’t think I’ve ever had this kind of experience at Mechanic before. Would recommend to anyone. Definitely will be my go to in the future!

AA Auto Repair is amazing. I have been to a lot of shops around the El Cajon area trying to find a reliable one and out of about 5 or 6, AA Auto Repair is easily the best and most reliable. They really do care about your vehicle and can tell that they will really listen to you even if you dont know much about cars.

I had to drive out to Arizona because my father passed away and on the way back, the exhaust pipe broke where it connects to the front of the muffler. I brought the truck in and they had it fixed in less than a half hour and the cost was very reasonable. Kudos to AA Auto Repair. If I have any issues with my truck that I cannot fix myself, I will be bringing it in to them to repair.

I was on my way from Granite Hills to La Mesa and my Jetta started to overheat. Stopped into AA auto repair & transmission as it was an easy turn off the highway. Had no idea if I was about to get gouged but they did a great job setting me up with temp transportation and didnt overcharge for a busted radiator. Highly recommend their services.

Brought in my car to weld some subframe connectors, no appointment just walked in. The staff there took my car in and completed the work above and beyond what was expected. Yesterday my car broke down in El Cajon, the problem is my usual mechanic is not in the area where the car broke down which means I had to find someone very close to repair the car. A short distance away I found a auto repair shop (AA Auto Repair) and stopped in. After telling them the problem they sent a mechanic over to where my car was to see if he could get the car started, 15 minutes later they had my car running but said it would need a new starter. I was fully prepared to pay the man for his time when he said NO CHARGE! I thought to myself, anyone willing to help some one like that and not ask for payment must be honest and have character. At that time I could have taken the car to my normal mechanic but decided AA auto repair deserved my business after being so gracious. Long story short, they gave me a fair price, did the work and I was on my way. I highly recommend this this company, character matters to me, they could have taken advantage of my situation but choose to be help me, expecting nothing in return.

I arrived at the repair center during the 12pmPT lunch hour; I had a left rear signal light bulb that needed to be replaced. The auto parts shop on the same street sold it to me for $4.00 but informed they could not swap it out, but that AA Auto repair would. Not only did the service center swap it out, but they didnt charge me for the service. I will not be returning to the auto parts store, but I will return, and refer everyone to, AA auto repair.

Fast and great service best shop in town

Adai was very honest and direct. I got a salvage car and my engine oil pressure switch was coding on my OBD reader. I was just going to change it myself, but after more research I realized I had to take off the air intake and the manifold to get to it under some of the engine. I called around for quotes, and he was the 6th call and he gave me a SUPER fair price. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I was describing my problem. He said he had a specific tool for that. All other people had to have their computers tell them what they were going to have to do when quoting me. He knew off the top of his head (experience). He told me Id have to drive it another 15 miles to pass smog. He said I could go back and hed read the car one more time to verify I would pass before going back. The next day I called him asking if I could come in. He said hed hold off on his next project and wait for me. He had me in and out in 3 mins and verified I was going to pass smog, and I did! Thank you Adai!
