I went to the dollar store on Danforth in Edmond. The staff was very nice and helpful. But they were operating on two shopping carts. They told me their carts were being stolen and that they did not know what to do. They let me put my stuff on their counters to shop for more. Customers were coming in and asking for carts and leaving because they had none. I felt bad for staff. The corporate office needs to give more support to this store. Please give them more carts and have a policy about how they are not stolen. This store will lose sales because of this issue.

I give this store 3 stars, not because of the staff (Im not sure how they pull it off in there) but because of the district management and above. They only allow so many hires per store and this store needs way more help than theyre being given. Their carts get stolen, no replacements offered. Theres usually one person ringing up people AND running around the store trying to put away deliveries. The one time I saw a regional manager in there she sat in the back on the phone (talking and laughing loudly) while the other crew member took on the entire store and truck by himself. Ive been Management in retail and this place is a nightmare. The staff is always amazing.

Always love this place but please, keep your store hours. Have gone by numerous times the past several weeks, 830am and the place is locked up although hours say 8am-10pm

The store was pretty busy at 2:30 on Saturday. Only one checker to take care of folks. He did a fantastic job. So many totes of merchandise to be stocked over the store. There was barely room to walk. I think the store needs to hire more people.

Don’t work at this company management will work you 40 plus hours then turn around and make hours you worked disappear. I worked the same hours every week and they usually included overtime never got paid for anything but 39 hours never saw the over time pay they won’t do anything to fix it. I quit in January and still haven’t heard about them fixing missing money. They don’t care or appreciate you. You can’t call out ever and if you point out missing hours they don’t pay for you to clock in early (when you are told to) or clock out late when you are forced to finish jobs. They promise positions that you’ll never get and still money you’ve earned.

The clerks at our store are always helpful and know the merchandise. Quick, polite, and great...give them a raise!

They dont understand coupon policy. You can use a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon. And they dont understand their own return policy. Kim is not properly trained.

Line of 6 people 1 cashier. Seen the manager twice didnt help the cashier. Im still waiting in line right now

Cashier named Beth decided to try and tell me how to parent my two year old son. He was acting like a two year old does and she said he should know how to act and that we should teach him that when she scans things to not want his toy or cry for it. Very rude customer service. Called for the manager and got no answer. Won’t be back to this location.

Variety store with good selection of outdoor decorations and supplies. Was pleasantly surprised with craft and cake decorating items. Nice housewares. Also good prices on food items.

WAY WAY WAY Better than Homeland..... try 8 bucks for hamburger at homeland vs 3.49 at dollar general this is for real i saw a pound of hamburger for 8something at homeland, I just left the whole basket rite there and walked out, went a couple more miles to dollar general.Idk exactly the price at DG but it was less than half of what homeland had that day.I LOVE MY DOLLAR GENERAL just need more in Edmond, where others raise prices just Because they are in Edmond, OK

This truly is my General Store. I prefer them over walmart, due to location and crowd control. The folks that work there know their store pretty well, and as long as you say your please and thank yous, you will always get it in return!

I wish there was a negative start button. This place is disgusting. Its a real mess I have no idea how the owners are cool with the way this place looks.

Usually a pretty easy and pleasant experience. I think the manager or something higher up was being loud and talking pretty disrespectfully to a cashier when he came in on his time off to buy something, and it was in front of close to 10 customers. That was pretty much the closest thing to an unpleasant experience Ive had here.

I was accused of walking in the store with a man with a red hoodie and changing tags on a bag of chips, car fresheners, and Parmesan cheese. This lady called the cops on me and I had proof that I didn’t do any of the things her and the two Edmond officers accused me of. But they didn’t believe me. I work for everything I have no need for me to steal. Hell I don’t have a man to walk in the store with me. I will be contacting corporate on her and making a report on the two officers that falsely accused me of some bs.

I go there quite often it has nice incentives that I love and get in on most of the time.

My go to for things and need around the house and more!!!

The pne in wellston was really nice

It is 6:50 PM on Monday evening and myself and other customers have attempted to open the doors just to discover theyre both locked. Hours say open. All the lights are on. No signage suggesting otherwise. Literally says open 8-10 everyday. Ive watched 2 more customers try to open the doors since starting this review. NOT okay.

This store has come a long way! Its time for it to have some good people and get to a good place. I LOVE shopping there not just for prices but for coupons and the people!!😉😉 Keep doing what your doing and darn it UPPER MANAGMENT GET THEM SOME GOOD PEOPLE!! TRUCKS SHOULD NOT SIT LIKE THEY DO! Great customer service

Store is nice to have nearby for small things so you can avoid the big store we wont name down the street, however many times you have to wait a while til someone walks up to check you out. I have also had to wait for them to do price checks and because their passwords would not work on the register. Pretty ridiculous

Dollar General has great prices and a great selection on cards. It’s very convenient to go to Dollar General for something quick because we live outside of the city.

This place desperately needs someone to come in and clean it up and manage it. Every time you go in it’s nasty and cluttered with boxes and trash everywhere. Stains and sticky spots all over the floor for weeks before they are cleaned. Very bad location in a very nice town.

Every store I have gone into is filthy. Never cleaned and organized. Looks like a garage sale that exploded. I have only found one store that is spotless. But all the older Dollar General stores is gross.

The employees are usually super friendly people which I love the most! Nothing is worse than seeing an angry looking worker when needing to ask someone about a product, etc.

This is the worst one Ive been to, its filthy. Broken products on the Isles, they had carts of stuff everywhere and you could hardly get around. You couldnt even get to products on the shelves.

My experience was pleasant and easy with the coupon app. The only thing I would be concerned with would be the cashier, she was not very people oriented.

The aisles were not open, and clearance item prices werent available until checkout. The clearance items were just jumbled in boxes
