I love little Asian Markets like this with a lot exotic fruits and snacks. My kids love coming here when Im passing by in Edison or visiting a friend. I like buying the food but I wish I had my Stepmom here to cook something of these dishes. The Sushi and Ramen is so delicious at the Food Court and very flavorful.

Best Asian market with a lot of variety. I love the little row of small stores near the checkout! They have everything like fresh fish, face masks, and a pastry shop! It is right by other Asian restaurants and there used to be a dollar store.

First off, let me start of by saying that this place is just absolutely huge. They have an extensive variety of fresh produce, meat and dairy along with Asian delicacy.I stopped here a few months ago looking for some fresh fish. I was just amazed at the sheer size of this place and the quantity of products at display. The seafood section was just absolutely humongous. They have huge selection of fish at display, and I also did see some live ones too. You can have the fish cut into pieces or take the whole thing with you back home. The isle sections are filled with different types of Asian snacks and food products that aren’t typically available at other grocery stores. The freezer section is also filled with a huge variety of frozen foods.I bought a few fish from here. The prices were not cheap, but there’s no other place that I could find that had those. The checkout process was smooth and the entire shopping experience was good.The entire store has Covid precautions in place and the checkout section is also properly organized. The products found here can be expensive so I’d double check the prices around if you are thinking about making this your one stop shop for all your grocery shopping.

The quality of Asian food exceeds that of American grocery stores by leaps and bounds. H-Mart is a perfect example. If you want good canned fish, you do much better here. The sodium and sugar levels are much lower, and the quality, texture and taste far exceeds American groceries, even those which originate in Asia. It is simply a much higher standard overall. The fish in the fish section is fresh, none of the overly processed fresh frozen fish of the American chains.

H Mart has everything you need for Asian food, in particular Korean cuisine. However, prices are higher in general.Dont get the sushi here, the quality of the rice is very bad, too much water. Its probably made by inexperienced workers that cant follow instructions .

For a Monday at around 1:30 pm, this place was crowded! But it seemed like most of the crowd was around the produce section (as it tends to be in most H-Marts) because there were parts of the store that were empty.This H-Mart is pretty big and its clean. The quality and variety is consistent with its other locations. The location is convenient - in the same lot as a ton of restaurants, a bank, Paris Baguette, and Mango Mango, so thats probably the reason for the crowd. Ill probably stick to the Little Ferry location since its newer (and also a lot closer to me), but if you are looking for a one-stop shop - maybe lunch/dinner + grocery shopping, this H Mart is a great option.

This is a very large Korean Supermarket. There is a huge variety of Korean packaged food, a large fish and meat market with typical thin cuts for bbq. They also have marinated beef, pork and chicken ready to cook in a pan or on a BBQ.The fruit and vegetable area is about 3-4 times the one of an average supermarket and you can find tons of unusual veggies.The refrigerated and frozen sections have hundreds of dumplings, noodles, buns and similar. They recently have more Japanese food and sushi.

H mart is a vast Korean grocery store, spotlessly, clean, the staff is polite. Many imported asian item are very expensive though. However, there is wide selection you can find here instant noodles and snacks, as well as fruits and vegetables, frozen dinners, fresh/frozen seafood, kitchen tools, variety of tea, even sushi and sashimi. If you are looking for Korean, Japanese, Chinese products, I highly recommend to go to for all your needs.

Came here after having Korean BBQ next door. Love the snack selection. Didnt really check out the fruits and vegetables but they do have the exotic asian fruits! Theres also a small shop with some cute plushies and skin care

I am a regular customer to this store for my Fish and Asian food shopping. They keep very good quality of fish and is a place for Head On Shrimps. It also has small bakery shop that too sells very tasty bakery items.

The food court in the market is so rude. I very politely asked the sushi place (산수갑산) if I can get disposable chopsticks to eat foods that i bought from the market. But then they were so annoyed and said like “you can buy the chopstick in the market!”. I know that I can buy it in the market and they may be asked that questions a lot from costumers, but i wonder why he can’t say that in better way and nicely. I was being polite when I was asking, but they were too mean.

A little bit overpriced. You can find the same produce for cheaper price in Farmers market or Patel Brothers.

Its a great place for fresh seafood. It is a half hour away from us but we still come all the way over here when we want fresh fish or crab.The staff will clean the fish the way you want right in front of you.There are tanks of live fish, shellfish, crabs and lobster. There is a whole little kiosk dedicated to preparing shrimp and octopus for you, and the fish section is huge.The store also has a great selection of fresh produce, especially the more esoteric items that you wont find else ware.

Hmart, 99 ranch, and Lotte are all very similar but I think Hmart on average is on the pricier end.They do have a wide selection of produce. However, one disadvantage is they dont seem to offer free cleaning of your fish for a lot of items unlike 99 ranch. Also, hmart seems more Korean centric in items whereas 99 ranch and lotte seem to offer more diverse items such as Indian or chinese cuisine.

Has so much stuff to choose from and so much variety and also carries hispanic cooking products which is great as well since I cook a lot of both! Although twice i’ve had the same cashier and she is very rude, not sure of her name but it seems each time we go and are in her line, she always has an attitude with everyone.

Love this place especially since I’m vegan. Fresh fruits & vegetables can’t wait to go back I’m addicted

EXPENSIVE!! However, you can get just about anything you need here to make your favorite exotic dishes and more. There are just some ingredients here you cant find anywhere else. The store is very clean and the shelves are kept organized. Fresh produce, fresh meats, seafood and a well stocked food court. Im still trying to find my way around as the signage is a bit all over the place for me.

Big store, great selection of Asian spices and goods. Im Taiwanese and all the spices I could possibly use were readily available with multiple brands and everything in stock at competitive prices.However, they have huge quality control and inventory issues. Mandarins that we bought went bad in two days, molded and turned green, and were infested with fruit flies from the inside. Oui yogurt we bought had actually expired 4 days prior to us getting the product. Even yogurt that expired a day from then had mold and rot growing at the bottom of the clear jar, indicating it hadnt been stored properly.From now on, the only products I will buy from here are non-perishable, dry or home goods, and/or spices and I advise everyone to do the same.

I love H mart. I went there out of boredom and boy was that a mistake. I ended up buying everything my heart desired Haha They always have the best selection of mushrooms if you are a mushroom lover like me. Their seafood section is amazing too. Very fresh and large selection

I bought a box of strawberry yesterday night. When I open it today ALL the strawberries are decayed and moldy!!! SO DISAPPOINTED!! I have no time to share photos! Just throw it away like a trash!

H Mart is the place to go for all sorts of asian cooking, and has pretty good deals besides. Theres also a small food court, which Im told is worth the visit itself. If youre after anything in the Asian sphere, be it spices, frozen food, beauty products or even just a great meal, H Mart is there to provide it.

Korean, Chinese and other Asian foods supermarket. Very fresh seafood and meats. Good selection and very clean. This is my main go to for all my Asian ingredients.

Sometimes its overwhelming how much variety they have. Overall you can probably find anything you need here. They do a decent job of trying to keep everyone socially distant. Just typical Korean market. They have American stuff too but very over priced. Korean food is very expensive in general. They do have a variety of different things. Meat they have is marinated nice. Just have to cook it right. Food court is eh.... let say its eatable. I get JJa jang myun. Its ok. Better than that little restaurant down the street called 중화루. Dont ever eat jja Jang myun from there. Its so bad. Anyways have a safe day everyone!

Great shopping experience for korean, japanese or chinese groceries. They definitely have different assortments of food, meats and sauces. The prices are not as good as supermarkets. However the environment is cleaner and help is easily accessible.

Lots of Fresh vegetables and exotic tropical fruits collection. Most of times I end up buying some new random fruit and vegetables from this place and get to experience newer things, we love visiting this place whenever we are nearby. Huge collection of fresh fish, it’s little hassle to get them cut-cleaned at this site in my experience (compared to Lotte or Kam-man).

Product variety and quality is great. My one complaint is the lack of organization this place has everything is literally everywhere along with people . Im dodging people left and right they should try those arrows on the floor to control the amount of traffic. Then again, they might not be followed . Ethier way, we spend about 2 hours walking around this place Everytime and spend more money than we want too!!

The Edison H Mart location is spacious. The mart even has a food court where you can eat different types of Korean and Japanese food. On certain days they have testers everywhere where you can try a variety of their food products.

A bit over priced but get almost all your Asian groceries here. They have tons of variety and also basic home items like bowls, spoons and rations. Fresh seafood department they charge extra for cleaning but worth it.

They have everything i need as someone whose hobby is Asian cooking. But theres also great prepared food of youre feeling hungry and short on time but you want a home cooked meal. I even get my favorite bts lemona vitamins there that are otherwise very pricey to ship from Korea. Health beauty food music... theres so much

Very disappointed with the food quality! Purchased a soymilk from H-Mart on Saturday at Edison, and the soymilk looks like a Tofu jello right after I opened the next day. I opened it 4 days before the expiration day, how come the soymilk looks so disgusting before the best before day? I cant believe that its a such big supermarket without selling a good quality product. Will not go back again!

I love this Hmart because I dont have to go to Bergen for Korean food products. The food court is decent, especially if you are a student desperate for Korean food. The produce section (like half of the entire store) is well stocked with every asian produce you could dream of. The seafood section has everything from sushi-grade products to fresh catches. I love their sauce aisles and meat selections; Ive stared at way too many dumplings/gyozas/potstickers because they have so many options. If you want to get in and out, dont come in the weekends - it gets VERY packed.

What a fun place to just wander around. There is basically a full fish market inside, not to mention the wall of amazing instant ramen varieties to try. There is also lots of great prepared foods, both the restaurants and the prepared foods are excellent.I would fully recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some time exploring a super market where the majority of items lack English!

Hmart is one of my favorite specialty supermarkets. You can get produce here you wont be able to find in regular American supermarkets. The parking lot is huge so you will always find parking even during the busiest part of the day.There is a food court inside of HMart that had great food. I usually make a day of shopping and getting lunch here whenever I get the chance. If you are looking for a bigger selection of Korean, Japanese, and Chinese produce to fill up your fridge I recommend stopping by HMart.Their prices are comparable to other supermarkets in the area.

Great variety of grocery goods! Pretty clean. They have someone offering hand sanitizer upon entrance, during midst covid times which I appreciated. Lots of fresh produce, fun snacks, delicious pre-made foods. This might be one of my favorite markets to shop at when I’m in the area.

I go to this H-mart for the various sea food and sushi/sashimi fish (i.e. fresh salmon and tuna). Vegetables are fresh and clean but the price is slightly higher than other Asian groceries nearby.

Best to go on weekdays as this mall gets packed on weekends. FYI, students get 5% off with ID - Mon thru Thursday. More reason to come on weekdays.

Great selection of seafood and groceries. Very authentic Asian market. Some of the employees show favoritism toward the Asian customers but that is understood but still unfair. Several of the cashiers are rude and impatient but if youre going here for hospitality find a different location. If youre going there for groceries then youll be just fine.

Was here on 8/1/19.I like hmart for very few reasons . I think they have more varieties of vegetables and fruits than offered by Walmart or stop and shop.They have fresh sea food. Wide varieties of fishes and ample of parking space infront of it . They will clean it for you.They also have a pork station.They have kimchi and marinated meats.If you can’t resist the temptation of being in an Asian vicinity they have a food court which serves Asian food.They have dumplings and sushi if you are interested in it .You can check my other videos for more details.

It has decent size of Asian session. It is more close to Asian mart not Korean market. If you looking for more Korean oriented Hmart, you have to visit hmart near Fortlee. Restaurant in the mart also not very good taste. However it is just enough to feel taste of Korean.

These guys are doing an awesome job in this dangerous time. Everyones hands are squirted with disinfectant at the door and given a pair of gloves. Signs everywhere caution to keep 6 feet apart, the cashiers have glass partitions protecting them from the customer and the carts are disinfected after use. Plus 95% of the customers are wearing masks. I really feel safer there than in most shops. (And the food is very good quality and fairly priced.)

Weve been to at least four H-Marts all over New Jersey, and this one is located in a very unique shopping center as all of the stores are Asian based making coming here a trip worthy event.Inside this H-Mart like others there are several restaurants to eat at giving you the ability to eat and then shop for shop and then eat which is quite relaxing. 😌The store has a large selection of Asian products in the thousands of varieties. The only thing I noticed that this store did not have as much of was individual drinks 🍷in the cold aisle. Weve been to other H-Marts that have a much larger selection.When we went around 5:00 the store was fairly busy but not too crowded to get around. If you do go later you will notice some of the restaurants might be closed before the actual H-Mart closes, so keep that in mind.Shopping here is extremely plentiful. The only recommendation I would make the parking is if youre going to visit the other stores, park accordingly.If you are standing in front of the store but facing the main road the left exits to the road allow you to make a left or right but the right exit you can only make a right turn upon leaving. Quality produce and meat. Impressive selection of cultural foods (mostly Asian). You can basically get anything you need to cook whatever cuisine you fancy, be it eastern of western. And the food court will serve you up a tasty meal on the cheap.

They have a neat little food court there with affordable dining. Seating could be difficult during peak hours.Grocery products are diverse and quality is generally better than your average grocery store. I wouldnt get seafood there though, most things look frozen/dead, although theres not a lot of places where you can get decent seafood around central Jersey.The store is kept pretty clean.

You kno they got the goods. Incredible selection of produce. Tropical rare produce is often here! Do not give it a miss. Its like a little mall it has a food court and an amazing bakery. Even a Sephora/Ulta kind of beauty shop inside. Its cleann too.

Went shopping at 2 pm on a Thursday. I checked the weekly Ad on their website and decided what to get. Did not realize that some of the items did not match the promotion showed on the Ad. After I returned home, double checked the receipt and thought I was over charged about $8 for some sale fruits. I went back to the store and showed to the customer service. It turned out that the website has next weeks Ad posted. Their weekly Ad starts on Friday. Customer service blamed me for not seeing the date correctly and did not issue any refund. Very bad experience indeed.
