Lots and lots of Indian spices/rice/ and all types of Indian items available here . Quality is good . They also have a live chappati/ parotta maker in a food area .. I like their chappatis but some of the fried items like samosas, kachoris were not that good. It was too oily .. ready to eat/ fresh vegetable subzis are good . Mostly all other products and vegetables are of good quality .. parking is crazy here . Very difficult to get a parking on a weekend or a busy day … LastLy, pls BEWARE of the billing here . Many times they put wrong quantities or entries while buying (like they put 8 coconuts, but we only bought 4).. also check ur billing before you leave the store. We have had so many experiences with wrong billing in this shop. Hope the owners can take care of this .. otherwise it is a great shop for all desi needs …

A huge Indian grocery store with a live food counter that serves several types of roti, samosa and a few other packaged snacks. They have a huge variety of Indian desserts too along with your typical fresh produce, meat and dairy. The produce section is towards the left as you enter, behind that is the live food counter, and then you cross over to the isles which contain the rest of your Indian grocery needs along with utensils and frozen products.During my time of visit, the store was moderately filled and there were more people lining up to get fresh rotis rather than the checkout lines. They do have a few organic options but bare in mind, the prices may be on the higher side. Overall, the prices seemed comparable to other similarly stacked Indian grocery stores. They have Covid precautions in place with masks mandatory inside the store. The isles were packed with products and were properly marked. The checkout process was decent and my overall experience was good.

People wants to have sugarcane juice but if you wants more hygienic way, pls bring your own nice cup or water bottle, avoid plastics cup and you will thank me later. We should be thankful to Apna bazaar for providing sugarcane juice in the summer by the same time they should focus of the cleanliness too. No offense. Pls carry some changes (tip) to the sugarcane juice maker since he stand in the summer and making juice for you. Some tip will be definitely helpful.Apart from the sugarcane, apna bazaar is the landmark of oak tree road. What else to say huh.Parking is huge and you will have many option around in a single car parking. Restaurants, laundry, salon, sweatshops etc etc.

The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer’s mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. We wanted to avoid the crowd at a more famous grocer, so drove to this place for a change. The shop is situated in a quaint place surrounded by some more tailors and restaurants. The shop has so many items stacked up left and right from Indian vessels, pooja items to vegetables, pulses and even a small snack shops inside that sells samosas, bakoras and even fresh rotis. We luckily got a sturdy Dosa pan that we have been hunting for a very long time now. In terms of availability, they were short of nothing. Two things that stuck out for me was they could keep the shop little bit tidier as there were some dolls that looked like being permanently exhibited with no buyers and had dust in them and the second thing is that some items lacked a price sticker on them. The person at the checkout also couldn’t know the price of the pan that we wanted to buy and had someone walk all the way to its aisle to check its price and we had to wait for a bit longer to get it sorted out.

Sure the prices are cheap and you can get everything you need for your Indian dishes but a) they blast religious Hindu music which can be isolating for those who arent Hindu, and b) they are constantly throwing away TONS of good produce. In the past, theyve also distributed Hindutva (or jingoistic) content, so it feels like a pretty mediocre place, democratically speaking. But yes, the snacks are fine, whatever.

Worst customer service at Edison store of Apna Bazar. I brought a few food items and wasnt satisfied with them, I called the store and was told that I can come back and return it. I drove an hour to return, and was treated the worst way possible. The ladies at the counter talked in their own native language which I believe was Gujarati, totally oblivious to the fact that not everyone speaks their language and later told me that it can not be returned. The condescending manner in which they spoke to me made me feel as if I have done a crime. Then the owner came from somewhere, and actually asked me to smell the food and tell me if it was bad. Never in my life, have I experienced such a behavior at a store in States. All this was happening in front of 20 people in queue, and I was trying my level best to be as calm and silent as possible so they dont get negative publicity, which they hardly cared about. I left as soon as my refund was done, as I was shaken by what all had happened with me in those 15 minutes.

Almost all the Indian groceries and vegetables available here. Stor is big only. Felt hard to get the cart as they were not properly arranged outside. No carts will be available inside the store. No marks on floor for one way shopping or social distancing in covid-19 situation. People are shopping in any direction where ever they want. Vegetables are low in price here which is awesome. They kept the reduced price of each item outside the store with big letters. One more special thing is they have fresh food available inside itself such as Roti, Samosa, Bajji etc with reasonable price. This is near vegetable section. Crowd was ok but not too much.Restroom is available but it wont be visible. Weve asked at counter and they guided. It is near 10 where steel items available which is right side of the main entrance. The lights in restroom is automatic, they are next to the door and we had to manually switch on them. Hope that was not for general public but they dont have any restrictions similar to other Indian grocery store.Payment was not contactless. Weve to give the card to them. They do swipe and return back. At counter they dont even display the items list while scanning each item which seems missed here where as it was available it other Indian stores. Entrance & exit doors are automatic. My friend suggested to buy Telugu pickels which tastes awesome.

This store doesnt have any idea what customer service means. My 12 year old bought a Ganesh with his money. On our way home he noticed that an arm was broken. Since, I was almost home so we went back the next day to exchange it. The cashier called a woman who seems like she was in charged. She had an attitude speaking to me in her language which I dont speak. I told her to speak English and she kept speaking her language and walked away. I mean she could of at least speak in a better tone to a customer that has been coming to her store for years. Well, I am never going back there. I will take my money somewhere else and so will all my family that normally shop there. My suggestion for that lady is to take a class on customer service skills. My son was so sad to see the ladys attitude towards us.

Be careful with the prices here. Many times displayed price is not the same as what they charge you when they ring it up.Also I found a 200gm Nescafe instant coffee (you can judge me for drinking that stuff) for 14.99$. In costco it is like two for 6.99$. I took it back with the receipt and the manager said it is rightly priced. It had a red cap,not a brown one you did not notice .. hmm they must have started mixing gold with coffee. But the place is clean, good stocks of items and best part is freshly prepared samosa(Indian snacks) and roti (Indian bread).Again, always check the price two times: once on the shelf and then again in the register, and you will be fine.
