This is one opinion, not having anything to do with insurance.There is this one gentleman whom has been working here for years. My partner & I both realized it when we recently needed our frames adjusted. Low & behold, during a quick trip to Wally world we found that glasses adjustments are free of charge. Great! We patiently awaited our turn, & this generous, patient man asked what was the issue. We said Our glasses, youre our only hope please. They keep slipping off our faces. You should see the things were having to Magyver to keep them on, showing him my handful of chewed gum & busted bobby clips.Dude took em back, came out front in 5 mins, & bro hooked it UP! No more slippage, no more tumbles down the stairs trying to catch them in time! & My bro still made sure they were wide enough to fog my mask up just enough to know its working (protip: rub liquid soap on them with a towel & youll be set a good while).Once I get vision insurance, hes who Im scheduling an appointment with. No more dealing with the incredibly rude receptionists (like bro I hope you read this, idk whats going on in your life but take care, we make the same pay & work the same hours, my money pays you Im only asking for the bare minimum) at Edinburg Vision Center & their impatient, incompetent doctors.
They messed up my glasses order and didn’t make them transition lenses
Young girl with glasses that works there is unprofessional and doesn’t know how to interact with customers. Simple human skills. I see other reviews about her too.
I give this place 0 stars! Doctor is just showing up for a check doesnt care about her job. Shes was going to send my sister out the door with the wrong prescription. I asked my sister if she could see with the numbers she had put on her eyes she said no, the doctor only tried 2 different numbers on her eyes and she couldnt see, so the doctor put her back on the chair and tried 10 more different ones till she was able to see. If I didnt say anything she would have left blind still. No one go here. Optical Illusions on Nolana is waaaaaaaay better!!!

Usually I have a very pleasant experience here but today was absolutely horrible. A woman named Patsy G. assisted me. She was really cold and rude. She wasnt very helpful at all. Instead, I asked her if I could replace my lenses on my current pair of glasses..she took them to the back and comes back asking how long did you have those glasses? I answered one year, to which she replied, because they broke. No apology, not even a pinch of responsibility taken. Just THEY BROKE. Then she tells me my glasses are no longer under warranty and I would have to pay for a new pair plus the cost of the new lenses. Are you kidding me? YOU BROKE MY GLASSES, YOU SHOULD PAY FOR MY NEW PAIR! I am so outraged and disappointed with my experience. I do not recommend this location to anyone. In fact, avoid if you can. Especially if Patsy is on the clock.
