I brought in 6 vintage knives for sharpening under the forever guarantee. The employee told me they would send them to the factory in New Jersey for sharpening or replacement as the handles were in bad shape. This came at no cost to me which was great. When I asked what they would be replaced with she led me to believe my 2 vintage #25s would be replaced with the new model of #1725. And my #24 would be replaced with a #1724. Unfortunately the factory followed different guidelines for the replacements and the #25s were replaced with #1728s and the #24 was replaced with a #2124. In both instances these were a petite version of the original which didnt follow what I was hearing from the employee in the store. If you use the replacement service, make sure you have a clear understanding of what the factory deems a reasonable replacement for your knife, especially if its an older model. When the owner at the store saw this he reached out and replaced what the factory sent me with what his employee originally told me. I was impressed at the quick response and the great service.

Great knives. Poor service. Stopped in for sharpening. First time, nice guy, sharpened while we waited. Next time, unfriendly clerk. Not rude, just seemed like she didnt want to be bothered. Said wed have to leave knives, she was busy, there were other orders ahead of us...but we were the only people in the store. Maybe it was the end of a long day.

I have owned my Cutco knives since 1954 and they are as good as the day I bought them. I have kept them in the trays provided for them. I keep them sharpened with the robo sharpener that came with them and it works beautifully. I will be able to pass them on to one of my children.or a grandchild. I can’t imagine anyone could find anything negative about them

Love the knives but they dont open on time on the weekends!! Twice in a row Ive stood here waiting for an employee long after the hours of opening that are posted. Love the product frustrated over and over with the service!

Just left the cutco store with 5 knives I brought in for sharpening. Not only did the guy working tell me that my 6 month old (tops) knives perfectly sharp but he told me sharpening them was nothing he could handle and Id have to ship them to the factory. Dont buy these knives. I followed the directions to a t and I have 5 knives that the company will not honor sharpening nor do they last as long as promised. Total waste of money.

They expected you to sell expensive knives costing about $800 door to a door and they only pay you for every appointment you make and commission which is highly unlikely selling things that expensive. Trust me not a lot of people are going to buy knives and kitchen utensils costing that much. They are so desperate for people, and will hire anyone. Every day I look on the internet for jobs Vector is always advertising for the same job, that’s because no one wants to work there and everyone quits after they realize how ridiculous the job is. They usually advertise the job to college students and high school graduates because they know they will take anything that comes their way. Cutco feeds off of your desire to get a job and make money so that they can get you to promote their brand for almost nothing.You are not reimbursed for travel expenses. Yup, if you drive across the state, you won’t be paid for it and, for in-home sales, you will do a lot of driving and, the training is not even paid and you will sit there for seven hours listening to people teach you how to sell knives and cookware not to mention the training is unpaid which is really stupid.

I love my Cutco! They are amazing knives and their customer service is unmatched!

A teen came to my house and demoed the knives, I bought a kitchen set, and yeah it was kind of expensive, but I LOVE them! Unmatched quality and great service!
