Unlike Kohls, they actually have inventory, and the shelves were organized. They have better deals too. Too bad there is not a store closer. You have to return online orders to the store.

JCPenneys needs a new buyer. Get up-to-date on your clothing for women. You guys have had the same style for 10 years. No wonder why your stores are closing. Theres nothing for a woman in there except for big old flowers, or polka dots really! How many women can wear polka dots? And Im not my grandmother and I dont want big old flowers. Get some new blood in there let them buy your clothes. Let me know Ill put in my application.

Jcpenney was great at one time but not anymore. The styles are old and no selection. Large sections of the store are completly empty. Its kinda of spooky.

This is our hidden gem retail store. Sure, they have been around for ever. But this place has bargins.

Covid friendly establishment and its never busy when I have went the past 3 or 4 times within a 15 day window. There are a lot of deals from black Friday still happening so I would recommend checking them out. I purchased a king size sherpa blanket and some pretty black boots for under 45 dollars without a coupon. Check your coupon aps this store also has online and in-store coupon deals.

It feels like a place of the dead. Not many shoppers, not many clerks. Service personnel seems and acts unmotivated. Wow!

Jcpenny at Eden prairie mall have profession photography service, clothes for men women& kids, utensils, appliances, shoes, bags, bed, jwellery, cosmetics etc . Have malls parking both upstairs and underground, wheelchair accessible, escalator and elevator available .

My fiancé and I visited the Eden Prairie JCPenney earlier this week. We were very disappointed in the amount of dress clothes available for Big & Tall Men. My fiancé left the store without buying anything and was extraordinarily discouraged. Further, we were not greeted by a single sales associate during the 35 minutes we were in the store - it seems odd because retail usually greets the minute you walk through the door.FYI: Yesterday, we visited the JCPenney store in Burnsville and had much better success with a much better selection. Definitely recommend the Burnsville location if you are shopping Mens Big & Tall section.

Finally got to the mall today and our 1st stop was at JC Penney. We got some good sale items in mens, womens, and home goods departments. Also, good after holiday sale going on now (its Jan 11).

I dont like this store because it is always a mess. The sales staff is never helpful. The shoes are always a mess. The items in home are never stocked well. It is difficult to find an open register to check out. They dont have a good selection of any items and the what they do have is very dated. Even the Sephora within is undesirable. It is always hot and dirty. The employees as snotty when bothered to answer any questions.

Staffs not helpful.. their portrait studio is a joke...

Good store. Clean, had what we were looking for (kids shoes- wide selection). Prices were typical to a big name, name brand store.

I had a terrible experience with JCPenney. I returned to exchange a pair of wide-leg jeans for a backpack without a receipt. I do recognize that it was my fault for not having a receipt, and to expect them to believe my word was pushing the limit. There were two ladies with head garments, both spoke Ethiopian to each other about me, I presume because I dont understand their language. I find that very rude. if they had something to say to each other, they should at least try to speak in English so the customer could understand their intentions. Nevertheless, a store manager can to assist the situation. Only to reinforce policy, and I was kind of hoping that they would try to understand the situation from a customers point of view. basically, JCPenney try to sell me back of pants I purchased for more than twenty bucks for $11 because I didnt have a receipt. I will never return to JCPenney ever again. However, in the story associates defense, I did walk in without a shopping bag and my merchandise in hand waiting for them to return it. I could see why, the store associate with be I stole the item. I am hoping for a more friendly environment to shop. No wonder why people resort to online shopping to avoid this negative interaction with other humans.

Couldnt find what I wanted

Stopped by to make a exchange. Bought the wrong size. Was helped today the 13th of December by a nice lady. Very helpful and made my exchange easy and quick. When im up in the area away from my other Pennys, Ill be stopping again.

I opened and received the new card discount on that day which is great; but when I wanted to exchange it for a different size and still keep that discount, they said they cant do it. I will not shop here unless the other stores closes.

Wish I knew the name of the female associate, but she saw I needed a cart so gave me one and then let me know about the 20% off if I used my JCPenney card. Nice gal!

The In Style is amazing. Really clean and well ran. The stylists are friendly and know what they are doing.

Never Black Friday shopping here again. They let dozens of people cut the line. Then wouldnt let shoppers leave while allowing hundreds of new guests in, clearly violating fire code. Their saving grace was the polite and knowledgeable staff inside.

I was very displeased with the staff. Went to the counter to purchase an item and was told rudely that it was not a part of the discount. She then continued to tell me that if I had read the fine print I would have known it was not eligible for the discount. I then proceeded to purchase the item at Kohls for cheaper and with more helpful staff. I will never return to this store.

Went for the portrait studio and the photographers were fantastic with my kids. She took some great pics and made us feel comfortable in doing so. Id gladly recommend them for portrait shots. Prices arent bad at all either considering what you get. There are often deals you can find online or from stores like Hyvee. Got a $400+ package for around $200. The folks helping you choose pictures are decent and try their best to make good suggestions for enhancements and collages.

I have always loved JCP since a girl. The Eden prairie store is very nice, organized and friendly staff. Easy returns and online pickup.

JC Penny is my favorite Entrance store at the Eden Prairie Center because their staff is nice and I like their Polo Shirts variety which I can check out when Im going to the mall. The only downside is one of the doors in the entrance is almost always broken and Im talking about for at least 10 years. But because I like them I still keep coming back.

Found what I was looking for and the sale prices made it even betterI love JCPENNEY!! Been shopping there for about 50 years. :-)

It took over 40 minutes to check out, and there were only two customers ahead of me. Only one register capable of taking credit cards, they had a second lane open, but for cash only, and the majority of the time in my wait in line it was serving no customers. The cashier just stood there and watched us. Despite the severe back-up in customers waiting in line, the one cashier capable of serving us continued to spend time offering special account offers, which did nothing but exasperate the wait. Very frustrating experience.

Well, a little disappointing. I picked up 2 mens workout t.shirts. Signs said 60 % off, both scanned at 50% off.Cashier tried to do the math in her head to validate. She couldnt. I left . Basic math isnt that complicated, please.I left.

I was frustrated with the fake sales at Kohls and thought I would give JCP a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the mens casual and business options. More impressed with how helpful everyone was in the store. I have since returned and I am always asked if I am finding everything okay. Managers are very active on the floor, it was obvious at least to me. I will be back.

A decent price and product, a bit harder to find assistance. First checkout we found was empty. Music was good choice wise, but VERY loud. Nice variety of athletic shoes.

Sadly, like so many old school retailers, its in decline due to competition online. But you can still walk in to Pennys and find clearance racks with possible good deals.

Poor JC Pennys. I think the classic department store is fading. This store is very nice. There is never a crowd and their sale and closeout prices are great. Im a Big and Tall shopper. I bought a Nike shirt for $10 and 3 dress shirts for $8 each.

Why go far to buy gifts for your friends and family. JCPenney is cheap with good deals and amazing options of clothes and accessories for all age groups. Recommended for every season clothes

This is a nice JCPennys.The photographer we had today needs some work on her interpersonal skills, though. Also the concept of a racially blended family is apparently an alien concept to her. Perhaps she didnt understand the insensitivity of her comments, but in this day and age, how can that be???

The JC Penny Mission Statement - make sure we have 3 employees in the entire store and then make sure NONE of them have any clue whatsoever where anything is in the store so that they can be the least helpful possible. Can’t for the life of me figure out why this store is still in business!

Lost my grandfather gold chain with the cross on it, because the sale associate asked me if she could clean it because they got a new machine, and with no hesitation I took the chain off my neck that j had on my neck for 16 years. After the associate gave me back my chain with the cross i put the chain around my neck without knowing that jcpenney cleaning machine broke the cramp to my chain the whole chain fell off without my knowledge. Cry and cry and still havent located my chain. General manager of jcpenney wants to give me a great deal he say to not replace but somewhat substituted which I thought was wrong to charge me.

A good selection of plus sizes, my daughter shops regularly for business and casual clothes at great prices. Good service at central checkouts, plentiful and well staffed.

If you have been to one JCPenney, you have been to this one too. Elevators are centrally located, exits to outside and to the interior of the mall. Parking lot is far too large, and the mall would do well to consider how best to utilize some of the extra space as it will literally never be full.

Sam in Sephora had some of the best customer service Ive had in a long time! She was absolutely helpful and delightful.

If I could give them zero Stars I would the sign for the sale was so confusing its not even funny the manager would not even apologize. Even two of their own Associates will confuse by designs keeping in mind this was before Thanksgiving. So dont be confused and think that it would have been a Black Friday sale because it was not. All I was guessing was to dress shirts for work the identical same shirts just different colors did not have the color that they want so do you want to order it online for me but then I would have to pay for shipping. I could not understand why I would pay for shipping because I was picking it up in store I could not understand why I was paying two separate price because the two shirts were identical from the same manufacturer identical in every way size material just not the same colors. I asked the manager two please explain to me why does two different prices she basically Shrugged her shoulders shook her head and turn her lips in a different direction also being cross-eyed I couldnt tell if she was looking at me or if she was rolling her eyes. If you do not know the answer do not make one up just be honest with the customer and say I do not know what I can find out for you instead of frying to feed me your BS. Little do you know who I am not at that even matters but maybe you will learn from this experience hopefully you do. Because if a kindergarten child or first grade child can learn from their mistakes hopefully you as an adult can learn also. Cross-eyed store manager and yes it was obvious that you were hiding your name tag

The store is well organized most of the time.The offers don’t make much sense sometime though.The kid section is not that great.Also,the clearance section is always a mess. I like the activewear section the best.

Had great customer service at the fine jewelry counter. There was staff everytime I needed help, which was helpful and unexpected in a large chain store.

Went to Sephora cosmetics to buy foundation, concealer, finishing powder and other items. The young was not very helpful. She didnt really have time or she really didnt assist myself and friend very well. Still walked out spending $170.00

This is what you get for having opposable fingers on your mannequins. Its fairly humorous to see but Im guessing some parents would be pretty upset seeing this.

As always Melissa has done an awesome job on my entire families hair and the people in the store are all so patient with my grandkids and helpful to my mom and I.

I went shopping many times there and Lily Singh is the best! Provides excellent customer service and has me as a returning customer ; Informs me on all the sales etc. !

Store looked closed. Half the entryway lighting was not working. Upon entering the store an 8 x 11 hand written sign indicated the main doors were closed. (hardly noticable in the dark entry) A garbage can was placed in front of one of the two remaining entry doors leaving a single door as the only entry from the parking lot. How very UNINVITING.

Didnt have a darn thing I want. I cant rate a negative so a 1 star it is!
