Remember those sitcoms we used to wait until prime time to watch? The good ones with the ensemble casts? With the familiar setting and everything arranged so organically that it feels like the stage is a character in and of itself? The Quadrant is like that. The food is well prepared, the self-serve coffee bar has a nice selection, and whether you choose to sit inside surrounded by books and conversation, or outside to enjoy the greenery, you end up enjoying your meal in an intimate setting that sets the perfect tone for your day.
Great relaxing and cozy atmosphere, food is priced very reasonably, and great service. I really enjoyed the coffee as well. Feels like a true local place
Cozy atmosphere with good breakfast, good coffee and friendly staff. We enjoyed sitting outside and will definitely come back again.
I drive an hour to Easton specifically for the Dark Chocolate Ecstacy coffee. Try the Quadrant Benedict with chipped beef gravy. Its delicious. Best bookstore in the area.
This was once a pretty cool place to get used books. Its more of a coffee shop today with not great a selection of reading material. Its been around for over 30 years which is amazing since most of the people in Easton cant read.
Terrific food in a cozy, comfortable setting. Their omelettes are the best! Seriously, THE BEST!
I ordered the ultimate waffle, chicken sausage and 2 scrambled eggs. Im docking a start for the sausage being salty and the waffle that was supposed to be plate-sized, wasnt. I felt like I was missing half a waffle.
They are so friendly. One of my favorite places to go. Also the best coffee.
Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, great service, nothing bad to say, love this place!
Went to this place for my first time with my husband on Sunday June 6th 2021, around 10 or 10:30 am, the host sitted us immediately which was great but had several waitress pass by us with no eye contact and no service for 10 minutes of us sitting there. The waitress kept going to the other tables but didnt stop at ours. So my husband and I decided to leave at this point since we felt racially profile. Yes were hispanic. Never again will I step feet into this place.Thank you for no service!!
Great atmosphere, good food and good service.
Disappointed. bottled water, mediocre food, weird smelling garden, construction site right next to us, ants crawling around on our table. Will not come again.
Great food, friendly staff, comforting atmosphere
Every meal is obviously lovingly prepared. Breakfast foods all week are unique and delicious. The garden restaurant has been a godsend during the pandemic. Its really beautiful and a great place to meet a few friends outdoors. Mask required when not seated at a table.
Love the new look inside and out!
Wonderful space for a meal anytime but particularly weekend brunch. Truly outstanding food. Highly recommended for a quick stop or a long lingering lunch.
Food is delicious! This was my first time here. I shared the daily special with my little one which was French toast with fresh berries, whip cream and white chocolate drizzle. Coffee is a self serve bar with several different styles, along with ice water and infused ice water. The coffee shop is small and has a relaxed eclectic atmosphere. We will definitely come again soon!
Breakfast..and coffee...love the coffee.
This place is fantastic... the couple who runs it are absolutely charming... the husband runs the book store, and the wife runs the coffee shop and restaurant... I like all 3 components of the place... Im a pretty avid reader, and their selection of often obscure used books was delightful to peruse... and the coffee shop had a chill vibe with friendly service... BUT THE FOOD... I have NO IDEA how she does it... she basically has a small prep area, a plug in grill, a small fridge, and a small sink, and she somehow makes miracles happen... their sandwiches for lunch were always on point, but her omelettes are simply the best omelettes Ive ever had in my life... for weekend breakfast, it gets crowded, and the food can take a while to arrive, which makes sense given the kitchen shes working with, but its totally worth the wait... its an interesting and well executed concept, all the way around... great place!!
Amazing food and atmosphere!
Cozy, creative, comfort food and a great place to spend some time with my daughter when I visit her at a local college. Always her first choice for breakfast! Usually some unique cookbook ornovel I cant do without. Love that Copper Canyon Coffee too!
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I can get lost in the maze of books up and downstairs forever! And the BLT I had there was so delicious, I still think about it! Lol. I have found some real literary treats here, authors that Ive never read but now love. We need more shops like these, I miss having local bookstores all around, and the prices are cheap but you get quality books. I will always give them my business before Barnes n Noble, thats for sure!
What a Delight! First time here and will definitely be back, the food was absolutely Delicious. Ordered the Mediterranean Omelette with a side of homefries. The Half pancake is really as big as the plate! Great food with a Cozy Atmosphere and Sweet Staff!
I really enjoy this place, delicious food and cozy atmosphere, but the wait times to be seated and to receive your food can take forever. Ive gone numerous times but recently, the last couple of visits have taken a very long time to receive food. Once, one of their waffle machines broke and I did not hear about it and my order until an hour had passed with no explanation, my friends already receiving theirs. Then, the last time we went for breakfast, waited to be seated for an hour and then another to receive my food, two hours in total and it was the afternoon by then. I know the place isnt very large and the servers are friendly, but I would not recommend going unless you have time to spare.
Small cool concept
Had the best food ever here. The power house salad I believe its called. Packed with fresh greens, fruits and a cheese that I cant remember the name of. Books everywhere. Love this place. Nice for a lunch date. Coffees choices are fresh, hot and always good no matter what flavor it is.
Was planning on taking the girlfriend out for breakfast here until I saw the selection of books in the front window and realized we weren’t welcome there due to our political beliefs. Neither of us or our friends will ever visit this establishment.
One of my favorite places on Earth. An ivy-covered bookstore that doubles as a coffee shop and breakfast spot. When I want to relax and feel cozy, THIS is the place I think of.
Very cute place. We waited a long time for our food and they werent very busy. The food was just okay, the coffee was good but I got half a cup of one blend and half of another because the first blend I poured ran out. Very nice atmosphere though. I will eat here again.
Amazing Peruvian coffee. A very relaxed place. Self served coffee and tea. $1.95 a mug and $1 for refills. Pay before or After. Upstairs and First Floor.
This is our FAVORITE breakfast spot!! Amazing, fresh, local ingredients being used. They have recipes that are passed down from their family. The restaurant is so cute inside. After eating you can browse several floors of rare, used books! Must try 🤤
Great selection of books and a fun place for coffee or a bite.
Amazing food and service!!
Laid back and friendly place. Nice breakfast. I enjoyed the Mediterranean omelet more that I thought I would. Also, the used bookstore front is no front. Its like the library from the Name of the Rose, though. Much exploration required. :)
Foods always amazing first time i ever had a issue with the staff after over a decade of going. Waiter was judgemental based off of appearance was dressed a little raggedy after coming home from a overnight shift and kept making assumptions i couldnt afford things and didnt go over the specials or mention. The self serve coffee even though i frequent here didnt appreciate the server but overall again amazing food and after a decade of going today was my only issue
A hair more in my food, cold toast that didnt melt the butter, a soggy slimy omelet, and they seated me where I bonked my head on a shelf when I sat down. They asked me how they could make it better, but, really, how could you make that better? I wished I had never walked in.
Wonderful take on an inner city venue. Loaded with books to peruse. Some outdoor seating close to the famous Saturday Farmers market. Kid friendly.
Quaint outdoor seating. Great food.
Ill be honest. This place used to be kind of a dirty hole. Its gotten much better and I wouldnt mind being here. Eclectic books too
Good and unique food offerings. Everything is cooked fresh to order but its worth the wait. Fresh fruit graces many entrees, several coffee blends including a decaf and the coolest atmosphere in which to eat. Thousands of books in every conceivable space- old & new, to browse through or purchase. A must visit in downtown historic Easton.
A lovely breakfast and lunch place that fills up fast on the weekends. The food is excellent, the price is right, and youre surrounded by books. Whats not to love? One warning, as far as I am aware, there are no kids seats around so its lap seating or you bring your own.Otherwise enjoy one of the old school Easton places.
Outstanding! Hidden treasure! Friendly service! Needs a fan exhaust, lot of smoke from the kitchen when busy, highly recommended
So good
This is a real find in a town that continues to amaze me and grow ever more relevant. In addition to gobs and gobs of great books in the upstairs, this shop has sensational espresso, coffee, breakfast sandwiches, sweets, and sandwiches. Is this service is friendly and personal. Definitely plan to spend some time here before you leave Easton, Pennsylvania. It is a must.
Great food, especially breakfast. Excellent selection of used books.
What a lovely gem in Easton! The food, service and atmosphere were wonderful.
This is a family owned business that is simply amazing. The family is so loving and warm, the food is delicious, the environment is comfortable and cozy and if you go upstairs there is a used book store. This place is one of a kind and a must go to place! I would rate more stars if available! ❤️
What an amazing place. I was so happy with all of the books they had. And the variety of old and new books. Their lunch menu is incredible and the portion size is large. Try the Cuban sandwich and you wont be disappointed!
Wonderful hidden gem. Friendly staff and a warm, inviting atmosphere to have coffee or read a book. Check out the beautiful sun-drenched second floor for additional selection and reading space.
One of the best places ever! Me and my friend have been coming here for years the atmosphere is wonderful, the food is amazing, and you can find the coolest books upstairs.I highly reccomend it to anyone looking to enjoy themselves.
The Quadrant is such a wonderful place to eat! I love, love their food! Perfect environment to go grab lunch with an old friend, drink coffee, and catch up amidst the lovely bookshelves and their paged occupants. I only have positive and grateful words to say about this little breakfast nook (they do serve lunch as well), it’s staff, and owners. I’ve enjoyed their full range of menu items throughout the years, including their absolutely PERFECT and delicious French toast. Seriously, everyone should try it!! I’ve also had different sandwiches, many omelettes, and of course, their coffee selection is fabulous as well! The most impressive part is their staff; who are always friendly and helpful. I recently had a hard time getting there because of major lack of parking in Easton due to a festival, and the kitchen had already closed for the day. However, the owner happily and kindly offered to make me my French toast despite the fact that they had stopped serving food 30 minutes prior! It’s the little things like that make the difference between loyalty from customers and not. I’m obviously a loyal and happy customer! They go above and beyond in my book, and I’m very grateful (and my appetite satiated). I would absolutely recommend this place above EVERY, and I mean every, (talking to you State Café) breakfast joint from Easton to Bethlehem!
Cute! Quaint! Came here with my siblings (24 and 7 yr old) and they had good food. Books are available all around the restaurant for you to read and eat. They even have a crate of kids books!
Great place and excellent service. Wonderful staff and food was outstanding!
Great coffee, great food, a few hundred thousand books and a wonderful atmosphere. It aint Starbucks! So much better more personable.
Maybe it was a bad day... but waited an hour and fifteen minutes til we got our food. no check in from service either or an update. nearly walked out - got our food finally and it was all cold. definitely not coming back
First time having French toast Croissant that I really enjoyed. The food was great it was peaceful and relaxing. I can see myself going back again.
One of Eastons original gems. I have been going here for decades searching for books and conversation. One of the best.
Love coming here. The atmosphere wonderful. Food excellent. Old world charm building with tons of books upstairs & a large room with table and chairs to relax. Walls have local artists art for sale as well. Wish I lived closer. From the Jersey Shore but when in Easton, visit here always 😊😊❤️
This place is great. Food was really good. Small, but was such a unique place.
This place is a hidden treasure right in Downtown Easton, PA. They have outdoor seating on the sidewalk on North 3rd Street and about 10 tables inside the cafe. You can borrow or buy a book, then sitdown and have Breakfast until 2pm, or just have fresh brewed tea or coffee... hot or cold they have a little something for everyone. I have come by peaking in the windows on many late nights after visiting local bars and wishing that they were open. I Love the concept and the execution of this amazing hidden Gem.
Quirky coffee/breakfast place in downtown Easton. The atomosphere makes it a pleasant way to spend a weekend morning. Food is good for a decent price as well.
Great food, coffee and service! Ill definitely be back!
Great place, great food and staff is the friendliest and provides great service. Love this place and eat here on a regular basis and you should too.
Most delicious breakfast ever. I read buy books n eat at the same place. Its totally COOL.
Fabulous lunch. Employees help any way they can for you to have a good meal
This place never disappoints. Usually there is a wait but its always worth it! Amazing food amazing service and amazing ambiance
Great selection of coffees for a small shop...one of the best in the Lehigh Valley. Nice ambiance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Located only a block from center square.
Gorgeous book shop with the added bonus of also being a café. Or gorgeous coffee shop with the added bonus of books. Either way, the coffee was lovely and the shop/café is quaint and quirky.
One of the best breakfasts in town. And youll always come across at least one different interesting read.
This place is a local treasure. The food is prepared quickly, delicious, and fresh. There are daily specials, and the upstairs has tons of used books for sale of every variety. If you are in Easton, youve got to check out this breakfast and lunch place.
Dont get here enough, but the food is incredible. Fresh ingredients and it feels like your sitting in a friends house getting a good homemade meal. Love it.
I have lived in Easton, PA for approximately six years now. I must say, NO ONE makes a better breakfast sandwich than the Quadrant Coffee House!!! The employees are friendly and very people-oriented. I always leave feeling positive in spirit. I Love how cozy it is and I wouldnt recommend a better place for a great breakfast. Keep it up guys!!! You all do a fantastic job and rock on!!!!
Interesting little place. The entrance is a bookstore and the coffee is self-serve. Good casual breakfast food and a nice staff.
LOVE IT! The breakfast and lunch Cafe is fantastic. Great quality, unique items, always consistent and dependable. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Its a frequent stop when in Easton on the weekends.
Good service and food. Very unique cafe/bookstore.
Never been there. But I love the place. They have coffee and books. Cant beat that.
The Quadrant is amazing, the staff is wonderful and accommodating and the service is great! Love going with my friends, and will keep going!!
Super cool place. Food was great and so was the service. If you ever need a book id reccomend this place.
I came here for breakfast. Got the Denver omelette with potatos and the cheese they use is so good. The breakfast potatos are seasoned well. I come here all the time now and I always bring someone new and they love it just as much. Also the pancakes are fantastic
Great food, excellent coffee, and cozy environment. They made the best Vanilla Chai Latte I ever had, but did not give me my change.
A special place that will transport you back to pre-digital days with shelves of books, wonderful people and delicious food. A must go for breakfast or lunch.
What exactly would Easton be without this place? A seriously delicious place to grab brunch, pour yourself a cup of coffee (the Peruvian blend is my fave) either alone or with a friend. Check out great books and take a biscotti to go. Wait time is not bad At All! I only have an hour lunch and am in and out in 45 mins. Its our lunch of choice! Friendly staff and also... great prices!!!
Portion sizes were small for the above average price. Food was pretty decent but I left hungry and paid close to $40 for our breakfast and didn’t leave as full as I would have liked to.
Nice quick spot. Coffee is self serve and superior to the surroundings, as the building is old and wanting. Warm gas fire place. ordered french toast twice. was great first time, 2nd time was soggy center and undercooked. Bout a dozen small tables. Metered street parking, a quarter buys you 15min.-- Homey warm atmosphere. Loyal local following. Closed Mondays. 8am-5pm. Close @ 4 on Sundays.
Great service, weak coffee but food is fast and good.
Bit of a wait, but the food and atmosphere is well worth it! Pros: the food quality and selection is truly exceptional. Cons: ala carte coffee (no free refills)
