Great customer service. I like that’s there a variety of hair care products, and hairstyles to choose from. Fairly priced as well. I can always find what I’m looking for when I shop here.

I visit this beauty supply store often. They have a rewards program which isn’t asked about unless you tell them to input your number. The young girls working there are rude (talk about customers once they leave the store) and have their friends visit them which develops into full blown conversations while customers need to be helped (I witnessed this myself). I love supporting black owned but I can’t go into a store when the employees are just conversing about customers and not doing their job.

I came here for the first time when I was 17 and I still refuse to go anywhere else 4 years later :) The staff greet you the moment you walk in and they’re always very warm and welcoming! If you have any questions, they’re more than happy to assist you. They have a wide array of products and supplies. 10/10 would recommend!

I was looking for black owned hair store, because my usual is just losing its touch. When I arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome. The owner was very down to earth, helpful and even gave me tips on certain products. I left with multiple hair products and a few different weaves. Price was affordable and product was official. I highly recommend this business and it’s worth the drive!

On Wednesday I went to Systahood and noticed a nice selection of wigs. I was extremely excited as this meant my mother no longer had to order from a catalog! I asked the associate if wigs were returnable she said no. That deterred me from making a selection for my mother but I told her that I would be bringing my mother with me. I told my mother about the store and we were both anticipating shopping there. On Saturday,, Mom hobbled into the store and quickly tried on 2 wigs. When she picked out the next wig she was told that was the last wig she could try on and she is only allowed to try on 3 in one day and that she is more than welcome to come back another day to try on more. I am not sure how that stops the covid19 virus but I was not very happy at that moment. If we were told of the rules beforehand we would have chosen our favorites before trying any on. Not only that, it also meant that this was a wasted trip and that I would have to bring my mother back and that isnt an easy feat for her as she is 87 years old. I came to the conclusion that they did not want to make a sale that day. My mother purchased a wig that she was not able to try on. It will be some time before we return to this store dependent upon how she likes the wig.

This store is very clean and they literally have EVERYTHING!!! I moved out here from north Jersey and it was pretty hard to find a beauty supply store for black girl needs and Im so happy I found this store! Monica, the owner, shes very nice! Ill definitely be back and I will tell all my family and friends about this wonderful business. Thank you Monica!

No one was following me around the store telling me to, HURRY UP AND BUY lol IYKYKI dont know how to do my hair but the ladies understood my dilemma and assisted me with my color choice & I just would like to say thank you ladies & BLACK GIRLS ROCK🥰✊🏾

I love coming to this hair store. I moved here about 7 months ago and I moved in with my sister and the first thing I asked was “is there a black owned hair store around here?” and she told me about 2 but one was closed down due to the pandemic. Systahood’s employees and owner are always nice and pleasant. It’s greatly appreciated. As long as I’m living here in Easton and Systahood is open, I will always support.

First, Its so refreshing to find a black owned hair supply store. This store is clean and the owner and employees are super nice and helpful. My permanent go to for all my hair supply needs.

They have a good variety of options and styles. I found a beautiful, fuchsia colored pack of kanekalon braid, which Ive never seen before anywhere else, and made some cute Senegalese twist extensions with it! 😁

They have it as open today I drove all the way there to find out that they was closed it would be nice to update the status of business.

I always enjoy this store. They have a variety of stuff and have helped me pick out wigs, hair, lip gloss, etc. they sometimes go out of stock but otherwise it’s a great place.

1st day back open, since Ms. Rona. Ms. Monica prices are a little higher than I would normally pay in Brooklyn NY, but thts okay. I got everything I needed. I will return.

It’s a small beauty shop, but if you need something most likely they have it. I like that it’s black owned! ✊🏾 it’s not my favorite in the area but if you don’t want to drive to Lana’s or Blooms and live in Easton you can’t go wrong!

I would have given them 4 or even 5 stars because the staff is great. Wonderful customer service and they are very helpful. However, every time I go there I have to wait for them to open up the store - they are never opened at the time they advertise.

Went all the way to Easton, out if everything I wanted/needed. What a waste of tolls. I guess I should have phoned first. They do have a lot of cool stuff though. Nice hair and wigs. Really nice.

I went to the store today 11/25/19. As soon as I walked in I was disappointed. The store was small and extremely basic. There was really no variety of anything. The cashier seemed very unconcerned and unknowledgeable. I asked if they carried pre made loc extensions because I need then for my son, and I was told “yes on the right at the end of the wall”... needless to say they were NOT what I asked for they were crochet locs. I was told “well you can still use these just stick the hair through”. I explained what pre made locs were and how they are installed and I would never buy curly crochet locs in my 12yr old sons hair🤦🏽‍♀️. I asked if they carried the Afro hair and again I was given the wrong product. She explained to me that she had never seen any product like those in the store. I then asked if they carried interlocking needles and I was given a cheap crochet needle with a plastic handle... after I let her know this is yet again not what I asked for she told me there were other hair stores but said THIS one is black owned... I was genuinely surprised. I said “wow is it really? I’m surprised you don’t carry what I’m looking for”... she then said “I mean just cuz we black owned don’t mean we don’t go out of stock!”... then stated “but imma talk to the owner cuz I ain’t never seen the stuff you’re looking for”... I guess I’ll be driving back to Philly to get what I need. When I find a place a like I normally buy in bulk and spend $300-$600 each trip (2xs per month) so this is truly a disappointment because I’d love to support my own community.

I went to this establishment on December 10. I purchased a wig that was $29.99. The wig was on display . From my knowledge of wigs, the one that is on the display is the one EVERYBODY tries on . Once I picked out my wig I went to the register . The owner than went back to get the wig I picked out . Im thinking Im getting a newly packaged wig . She than returns to the register . I didnt see the wig because if I did I would have never purchased it . She didnt tell me that was the last wig or she didnt even give me the option to purchase another wig she had in stock . I didnt realize anything until Friday morning when I opened the wig . It was not in its original packaging, the adjustment inside the wig was broke and the back of the wig was shabby . I than phoned the establishment several times Friday and also left a voicemail. I also called this morning December 14th. No response . I called during business hours so I know the shop was open . I was being avoided at this point . I am very disgusted . I purchase a wig that several customers probably tried on . A customer could of had head lice or a wing worm . I will not recommend this beauty supply to anybody . This is not how you run a business .

Im not sure what time theyre open until, but online says 8pm. I just went there at 5:55pm on a Thursday and they were closed. All of the lights were on, but not a soul in sight. Sad thing is there were about 5 other people outside, wondering where they were .
