I called the East Peoria, IL Walmart exactly 10 times on Monday, 10/25/21, between 8:30pm and 9:30pm and, after the recorded greeting, nobody answered the phone no matter which extension you pressed (except the usual automated messages at the pharmacy.) It would just ring forever. Their website says theyre open until 11:00pm. I even contacted Customer Support in their app trying to get a different phone number with no success. What kind of Walmart wont answer the phone during business hours?Tuesday, 10/26/21 Update: The reason I wanted to talk to someone in electronics so urgently last night is because I saw on a deals website that Walmart had a fantastic, in-store only, unadvertised, deal on a Chromebook but inventory and willingness to sell at that price varied between stores. A separate website said this Walmart had inventory. So did they? Would they? No answer. I went to the store today and bought 2. When I told the Walmart employee who sold them to me my problem getting ahold of someone the night before, she happily told me they never answer the phone, the front desk either. Huh.

Today was pretty typical for Super Walmart very busy. Setting up for Christmas and Saturday shopping. Lots of children but it seemed to be well organised chaos. Got through fairly easily.

Saw a item sunday and went back for some weds and since they r remodeling they were no where to b found. Plus the employees and their masks under their nose. Not cool

This Walmart...let me start by saying its sad they dont teach good customer service. I had a complaint about a simple grocery order LAST NIGHT and still into the next day cant seem to reach a supervisor. I keep getting hung up on or just ignored. So I took it to another level and contacted corporate. Customer service is not good at all! Ive never had issues before. Hope it gets resolved and I dont wish for anyone to lose their job, but hopefully they go through training again. It was a simple complaint and now turned into this unnecessary issue. I could say I wont ever shop here again! But, I wont because I will eventually have to. But from now on Ill drive the extra few miles and go to Morton Or Washington.

Recieved a gift a family member purchased we no longer could use. We took it to our local Walmart to exchange for something we needed. Not having the receipt and the price being over 50 dollars ($157.00) were SOL. Lack of care, concern, compassion. Unwillingness to communicate. Pushed aside showing we as individuals dont matter to the big bad Walmart corporation

It was a good store. My only problem is that they dont have nee dohs anymore and i have very bad axidey and always need something to fidget with. Ithereise it is amazing 7/10

Store bathrooms were filthy, employees smoking pot by cigarette sales, 10 electric wheel chairs out in parking lot (surprisingly they have a lot of them, more than Allen road). Good deals on discounted items.

Love East Peoria Illinois and Pekin Illinois Walmart Supercenter. They have most of what I need except I sometimes go to Kroger and Aldis and Save A lot for groceries.

Nice clean store. But when trying to make a legitimate return, it was refused by management based on their opinion which was not accurate.

I do not like that you all took away all but a few regular checkouts.Not everyone wants to check out their own groceries.I shop there but I refuse to use the quick check out unless Im buying just a few things what it was originally meant forr

This Walmart is huge but we were in a hurry and the cashier kept stopping to message on her Apple Watch until her sup. Said you can go on break and then she moved with lightning speed. Besides that this was a good Walmart location. Clean, shelves were stocked, and bathrooms were clean.

This is my top choice of the Walmarts in the Peoria area.

I spent too much, but half was getting cash back to hit dispensary down the street. Friendly staff! Clean store! No hamburger rolls, but you had brat buns I now want to try! I bought 2 battery banks for my phone, few Red Bulls. Used self checkout, as always unless I have too much and got questions.

Typical Walmart. Had everything we needed ( except low on athletic socks, but no big deal)Steve Ransom was a particularly helpful associate. We had driven in from Indiana, our truck at one stopping point completely died ( the battery cable was loose)We were in a hurry then to get to a wedding rehearsal, Steve helped us check out fast. We appreciated him!Thank you.

This is one my go to stores, but they gotta hire more knowledgeable people, they never know anything. Also just go through the self check out and do ya thang these people do even pay attention…

I have alot of negative opinions on this location. But if you like to feel like youre on the set of Robo Cop and truly enjoy employees that dont have respect for their own work its your spot.

The customer service line was all the way pass money service with one person on the register. I see the manager Jessie I asked him can he put someone else on the other register, he says she should be back from her break in 5 minutes, I ask him can he get the register until she comes back, he says the he cant he the only one on the floor. When I see 7 to 10 other associates walking around laughing and on their phones. Fast forward 20 minutes later Im still in the line and the line hasnt moved much. I wish I could give them 0 stars on poor customer service and pure laziness

Employees do not help customers nor offer to help. Order pullers have their carts in the way of customers. Employees are not friendly. They need to work on their attitudes. Dont mind using self checkout but would really like to be greeted and thanked for spending my money in their store. Overall your company needs to work on customer service big time.

Its East Peoria Wal-Mart. What much is there to say. Although I stood in line to check out forever. It was a ridiculous wait. It made me realize y I prefer to order my groceries online and pick them up or have them delivered. I dont know if they are always that busy but when your wait in line time is longer then it took you to shop is dumb.

I picked up my groceries, which were out there in just a few minutes...even though I forgot to let them know I was on my way! When the excellent young man brought me out my eggs, he handed them to me so they would be safe. When I checked them (2 dozen), I noticed that both cartons had one broken egg. I switched out the broken eggs to the same carton and handed it to him, asking him if he could replace the damaged carton. To my surprise, he not only didnt take the broken ones but went inside and brought me out another dozen free! Thats service that would make Sam Walton proud!

Washington Walmart has the best everything for the area. Clean restrooms excellent staff and excellent selection of grocery products.

I absolutely despise going to this Walmart. The workers are rude & very unprofessional. Customer service & money center ALWAYS close early. I was here at 5pm to return something & stood in customer service area for 8 min before someone came over to tell me they were closed. They should consider shutting this whole store down permanently.

Bought an air bed. Was extremely uncomfortable. Couldnt bring it back as Coleman days only exchange. Want clearly marked that only exchange was possible

Its a Walmart Supercenter so there is a reasonable expectation about producing availability- in fact they were pretty well stocked with items I havent seen in other similar stores. I have no idea whats going on with the exterior facade paint job, but that combined with the strange surveillance towers in the parking lot are really uninviting

Well this Walmart is a cool place because what other Walmart do you know of that has a river in its backyard,so you can buy some 🐔 already prepared for you along with a nice cold beer 24 oz of Budweiser or six pack bottle 12 oz Budweiser take a chica or two and hang out at the river but beware of the air1 seagull (bombs💩away)strike team and the disco ducks🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆 because sometimes they get a little crazy cuz theyre having a bad day....

Pretty much has anything you need. I went shopping for bookbags but the selection was not as good as it use to be which was slightly disappointing. Other than that, they usually have a great selection

Its the closest walmart to me in East Peoria. I love the pharmacy staff and i have to say the staff are easily accessible in the store and uf i ask a question i am always treated with respect. I love this Walmart!

I have been there twice this last week. Very poor customer service everyone is standing around and slow. My main reason for posting this is your parking lot is disappointing!! It is disgusting and looks like a landfill!! I am very very disappointed!!! You do have one decent employee who helped me check my balance on a gift card and had manners and patience! His name was Vincent. He seemed to be the only one working that day with 20 people in line and patience. East Peoria IL

One of the better Walmarts I’ve been in.

This Walmart is OKAY at best during daylight hours, but going there in the evening is truly an awful experience. If you need anything from Walmart at night and you’re in the area, make an extra trip and go to the Morton Walmart. Trust me.

Everything is great about Walmart its just my favorite store to shop at.

This location is very busy. They have a great variety of products but they are not alway instock.

Parking lot was gross and garbage on the ground, inside wasnt any better. Employees were unhelpful, bathrooms were disgusting. If I could give negative stars this would definitely get a negative 5 star review

Twice in the past year, Ive placed an order online for store pickup and both times, my order was not fulfilled. Theyre sure quick to take the money from your account thought. They say its just a hold and they havent actually charged your account. But when you cancel the order because they cant seem to get the one item you requested, they say they have to process the refund which can take 5 days. Absolute joke. Ive only tried this at the East Peoria location so this is specifically for them. If youve had better luck, good, but Id avoid this location at all costs.

Out of the approximately 120 people that I saw, 98 of them or so did not have masks on, of the 22 that had masks on, 6 of the 10 employees had masks, 3 of which were around their necks! Even if you are vaccinated please mask up!

The Walmart was nice, however security was rude, said we couldnt park the truck there, but when I came back outside there was a RV (bigger than the truck) and another truck parked close by. So what was the problem with parking the truck there?

Wow! What a hot mess! It makes Superstore look like Saks 5th Avenue!I have only been in there twice and it was due to urgent need. The employees were friendly enough and the cashier was very nice but the clientele in there is something that was dredged up from the bottom of the river. Sorry to say that, but there are too many reasons to list why I did. Its just sad.

There is no other than walmart, i like so i love everything about it do all my shopping there and online.

The place wasnt too bad. Got most of our stuff on curb side pick up. I went in to the store and got the rest. Im a little upset, they said they were out of milk in the half gallons. They were NOT, they had them. So, maybe a mark against the curb side.

Walmart in East Peoria is not usually a good experience for me. I was there because my girlfriend needed to get a prescription. While she was waiting to get her prescription I decided to go back and get her something special for her to drink for our movie night. What I wanted was locked up in a cabinet so I found an employee asked if they would find someone to unlock it for me. They told me that they would have to get a member from the management team to do it. I thanked him and went and stood by the cabinet. After a few minutes someone else was looking in the cabinet so I told them someone was supposed to be coming to unlock it. We stood there for 15 minutes without anyone showing up. Again I found another employee and asked the same thing of them. He replied that he had seen the first employee that I had talked to and that neither one of them new how to get ahold of someone from the management team but that he was still looking. I was taken back a bit by the fact that this company doesnt have in place for all their employees to get ahold of a management person at any time. What if there had been an emergency. What would they do? If you are an owner of a company wouldnt you want your employees to be able to access a member of your management team at anytime? I know that I would. Needless to say that I left with no purchase and no plan of going back.

I dont really like it there. People are rude and the location is very confusing to get in and out. The parking lot in the back is messed up and had a big dip, scrapped the bottom of my car. Very disappointed.
